Tahitian Beach Motel - Treasure Island

is very comfortable except for 2 things. First, the room was not available to use until 5:30 p.m. and they advertise it will be ready by 3:00. No compensation was offered for the late check-in. Second, parking is extremely limited and the overflow parking is across Gulf Boulevard, which was a very busy place over the holiday weekend.

Great location...hotel clean but very old, needs some renovations.

For the price, this hotel was very nice, the rooms were quiet, quaint and clean. The grounds were a little rough, there was too much cement and the pool was a little small, so we walked the block to the beach, which was great.

Although this motel is located directly on a beautiful white sandy beach, and is on a great part of Treasure Island strip, that's all that this dingy little motel has to offer. The efficiency room was smaller than described (too small for 4) looked unkempt and was in desperate need of a refreshing make over. I am glad I only had to stay at the Tahitian for 2 Nights. Parking is terrible, you have to park across Gulf Blvd and cross 4 lanes of traffic. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Only stayed 4 days as were at our 'regular' hotel but could only get it for 5 days during march break! Hotel was fine, Nikki who did the rooms was good, very accommodating for anything we needed. Lots of parking across street if lot was full., Able to walk to stores, for shopping and groceries, etc. and weather fabulous !!

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding we were going to down the road. We thought the room was actually really cut and we loved that we could actually see the ocean from our room which was over looking the pool. Very cheap price as well which is always great! Especially when the hotel is on the ocean. We were very pleased!

Parking mostly inconvenient,across the street altho space available there. Room with 2 beds too small...not space for a chair or two But pretty good value and locale, for the price

Location was excellent for a walk on the beach. The room was very small but, we were out most of the time so that didn't matter. The bed was right up against the bathroom door. If your lookig for a bigger room this is not the place to stay.

The rooms are VERY small and very old. I left a note for the maid with a ten dollar tip and she cleaned the room badly and ignored my requests. The parking is horrible. The lot has some SMALL slots- the remaining parking slots are across a four lane road. If you want to sit outside without being in the sun you are out of luck- minimal umbrellas. A/C made noise- NO HOT WATER in shower- maid left coffee grounds on floor and hide with one of our luggages! would never stay again!

Great Location Local Publix, Mcdonalds, and Pizzeria's near by. Heated adult pool on site, Kiddie pool not heated but still pleasant. Play ground near site, swing set on site, option to play shuffle board, deck on site with plenty of chairs to lay out on by the pool and near the sidewalk strip on the beach. Poolside suite very spacious with table four […] chairs private kitchenette from room, Two double Queen beds, roll out couch that becomes a bed , private bathroom, spacious closet , and sink area. This is an older Hotel, howewer has been very well maintained. There were installing new beds while we were there in many rooms.We has a pool side effiecency and they also have a court yard area that many retirees live for the winter. Pool was great 4-8 ft and kid pool. Great Beach - very wide and there is also a bike path between the hotels and the […] beach. The parking for the public beach is a few yards down the beach with play area. Check in is before 10 or you have to go to Thunderbird just down the street. We could not check in to our resort till 4 - however we were able to hang there and use pool and facilities until then although check out is noon. staff were all very friendly! Good location Rooms nice for the price Nice family place

Facility is very old but well taken care of. Our room was clean, recently painted, but carpeting leaves a lot to be desired. Parking is not friendly...about 15 to 20 spaces at the motel, balance across a 4 lane street. Location is great...beach is beautiful. The pool was very clean as was the pool deck chairs & lounges. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and it was one of our best mini vacations. We were to able to have family visit us. Our guest were given parking passes so they were able to park on the premises. The housekeepers were top notch. We felt as if they were catering to us. We definitely will go again. Happy 30th

This cute little hotel was everything that it promised to be on the web. The service was friendly and the rooms were clean. If you want an "old style" simple hotel experience, this is the place for you.

Great location right on the beach and close to lots of good eating places. We had lovely meal at Sloppy Joe's a couple of minutes down the beach.Also close to John's Pass which has interesting shops and resturants. The motel is basic but we found it to be very clean and comfortable. The rooms had a small kitchen with rings,microwave,fridge,coffe maker,crockery […] and utensils and managment provided the coffe, tea and powderd milk. There were lots of clean towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Pool and beach towels were available free on request which was a great bonus. Managment were very pleasent and helpfull sugesting places to go and things to see. Even though check out was 11am they let us use the car park and all the facilities including the pool and towels until 4pm. How lovely to just hand back the wet , sandy towels when we left ! On the subject of the car park we had no problems at all but it is small and some people had to park across the road at the sister hotel, so that is something to be aware of. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 children and we were all very satisfied with our stay feeling that we got good value for our money. We would certainly stay at the Tahitian again. Went for a girls weekend, room was clean but they are small.

Make sure you bring hangers if you want to hang your clothes. Coffee was provided one day only so you might want to back that too. The room was very clean, beds are small.

A busy tourist area of Florida (Treasure Island), but this motel is very comfortable and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 4 day weekend and we would recommend this to others.

Just like stepping back a few decades, the little beach side motel has everything you need. Clean rooms, pools and grounds. Sit outside your room and over look the pool/courtyard. Great place for families or couples. Short walk to the white sand beach just off the courtyard. Also offer shuffleboard, kids swings and BBQ grills and tables. For being right on the beach, this motel was a great price. I felt comfortable and safe, and was able to enjoy the pool and beach front. The parking was tight, and sometimes I had to park across the (busy) street, but overall it was worth it to me, and I would return to the Tahitian Beach Motel.

Not enough parking, someone pooped in the pool , they closed the pool, but left the poop in the pool till the next day. we left a shirt and a phone charger in the room and no one there can find them, will never book there again or with Hotel.com.

VIajamos con mi marido y nuestra bebé de 1 año. Nos pareció ideal para gente como nosotros, super familiar y la zona da para salir a caminar. Los atardeceres son impagables. La atención muy cordial. Las habitaciones muy silenciosas a pesar de dar a la piscina y estar cerca de la avenida. Muy recomendable

Hôtel très bien placé pour les amateurs de plage. Nous avons du râler car la chambre réservée ( bord de piscine ) n 'était pas disponible,finalement l 'hôtelier a trouvé un arrangement. Cuisine bien équipée, barbecue à disposition. Hôtel très calme. Parking a proximité
