Ginza is the place to stay when in Tokyo - elegant, packed with shops, restaurants, cafes and all other amenities. And in Ginza nothing can surpass the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. Price/value is excellent, staff is extremely helpful and friendly, breakfasts are great, location is perfect for all Tokyo attractions. Add superb views on either Ginza or the Sumida river and the Tokyo Bay and you know why you want to stay in this hotel. The hotel boasts great design and has great atmosphere. How about a dinner in their restaurant overlooking Tokyo? Rooms are smallish, but this is Tokyo, and their rates there is no reason to complain. Our next stay in Tokyo will be in this hotel. Perfect!

Hotel's look is not very impressive, but it has all you need if you visit Tokyo for sightseeing.Rooms with bathroom,TV,A/C,fridge,teapot,hairdryer,Internet access.Easy to find, near Ginza Line's Inaricho metro station.Close to Ueno and Asakusa district.Nice people at reception desk will always help you and in hotel you will find useful informations boarded.Just around the corner there is a convenience store and a restaurant.Hotel is a great start place for sightseeing Tokyo-afterall, you're not gonna just sit in the room.I had a great time in Tokyo this October,thanks to the Oak Hotel. Nice hotel, nice room, enough for 2 people, we stayed there 3 nights. Clean, tidy, and the staff was nice. Opposite the street is Lawson 100 - you can buy there products for 100 yen.

It is very closed to Shinjuku JR station, takes not more than 3 minutes walk. The room is very small and no enough space for your luggage to be fully opened. For the price and location its my favorite in Shinjuku. Others I've stayed in Shinjuku include Keio Plaza, Washington Hotel, Prince Hotel, and Sunroute Plaza is the best location and each individual room has its own climate controll which is not available in a lot of hotels in Japan. Its 1 minute from the Toei Oedo line; 5 minutes from rest of Shinjuku […] station South entrance; next door to a 24 hour ATM that accepts foreign debits; and just acros the street from the Souther Terrace (get the melon soft cream at the Hokkaido specialty store). "Shinjuku's Best Position"
Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku is located in the most convenient and safe position in this busy area of Tokyo. Convenience stores, restaurants and transport are all very close and the surrounds are very safe and relaxing. We have stayed here many times and will stay here again.

I've been to Tokyo for many times and it's my very first time staying in a hotel that is so close to the JR Shinjuku station. I got a great rate from Hotels.com and the stay is enjoyable.

Make sure you take the SOUTH exit at Shinjuku station to get to this hotel easiest. Very nice hotel, good sized room. Free internet room - very comfortable. Great location.

Perfect location for travelling around Tokyo - both JR and subway are very easy to access from the hotel. Small rooms as to be expected in Tokyo but great value and comfortable. We will stay here again on our next trip.

The room fits the two of us perfectly OK although the space was really tight. It had all the amenities we like--fridge, water boiler, slippers, ropes. Also a fine location and is a standard stop for the airport shuttle. Would stay again.

It is a hotel with very accessible train services like odeo line and the main line to go most places like shibuyu, tokyo station. Nearby is takashimaya , isetan and multi 24 hours stores. It's a convenient business hotel adjacent to the Shinjuku train/subway stations. Highly recommended just for location alone. It's not overly luxurious/spacious given the price you pay, but it's clean and decent. Did the job for me.

2 minute walk from Shinjuku station and from there a short train trip to most places in the city, this hotel is in a great location for seeing everything. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and made every effort to suggest sightseeing spots, give directions and help out with any queries fast and efficient!

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years, and once again, I was not let down. Room was clean and tidy, everything functioned well, and staff were very friendly. Located right in the middle of great dining and shopping, and next to a metro station make this the perfect location. Small rooms but clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet was a bit dissapointing.

I really liked this hotel for it's great location in Shinjuku. Very close to the subway and very close to a whole host of other bars/shops etc. I rated Shibuya as slightly better for location but this was almost as good and was significantly cheaper. :)

"Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku - recommend for short stay"
I stayed one night in a "bright single" room. It was small (standard for Japanese hotels) but the bed was fairly large for single room (small double?) and comfortable. The room was very clean and felt bigger than it was because of the decor. It has a glass window and door on the bathroom, no curtain/blind (so i wouldn't really recommend sharing this […] room!) which makes the room seem larger versus similar size in other rooms. There wasn't much storage space (typical for this type of Japanese hotel room). It's a short walk (~2 or 3 blocks from the airport bus stop in Shinjuku), there's an airport "limousine" bus that goes direct to/from the hotel but it's only every hour or so. Hotel will also store bags free of charge after check-out if you've got a late departure time. Internet is free (wired) but there's a charge for local calls. Hotel overall is very clean and well set up, easy enough to find. Staff are friendly, and the ones I talked to spoke reasonable English. Shops and restaurants nearby, bit of a walk to shopping areas of Shinjuku but could be worse. If I'd paid the full rack rate for the room I probably wouldn't think it was such great value, but I got a good deal from hotels.com - I've stayed in a lot worse for a lot more money. "Nothing special"
We booked a double room for two people. But it is a bit too small for two. If you have a suitcase, there is not much room to move around. Also, there is only one chair for the desk. The room also looks a bit tired. It needs some freshening.

"An Excellent Deal in Shinjuku"
Though the standard double room we stayed in wasn't very big, it was still quite comfortable and well appointed. The location of this hotel is excellent - a five minute walk to Shinjuku station and numerous shopping and dining choices. Add in the reasonable price and you have a place you'll want to return to when visiting central Tokyo.
Very satisfied with the location, room. But hotels staff can be more friendly.
