Upon arriving I must admit that I was a tad bit disappointed. The hotel just seemed older than the pictures had portrayed it to be. Very nice hotel. Will stay again. Late night check in very easy and organized. Very clean and pet friendly . Very quiet area and across the street from beach.

The hotel is right across the street from the beach and close to several beach parking areas. We wish we would have rented a car--the hotel is anywhere from 2-3 miles from many restaurants and shops. Very nice location. Beach approx. 50 yards north and accross the street in a city park. A very nice and easy walk. Running/Biking trail directly in front of the motel; Pool was somewhat small and not used by me. Beach towels, chairs and a few toys available for free. They shouldn't call this a "lodge". It's a cheap hotel with a great location. Especially with the bridge hotel right down the road for the same money.

The location of the hotel is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the beach. The beach was not frequented by many, really clean. The outside motel-like feel left me wondering but the rooms are renovated and large with a couch, desk, dining table, and kitchenette. The internet access was very good. But most of all they are very dog friendly. They didn't ask for a deposit nor charge me an additional fee to have my 45lb shar-pei. If you are looking to get away from the noise and commotion of the big hotels, this is the place to go. Only about 22 rooms, all of which surround a nice relaxing and quiet pool. A short 3 minute walk to the beach is very convenient.

Interesting place to stay. When we arrived, the office was empty but the manager was easily reached by phone and he indicated there was an envelope on the door that contained a letter w/ our room number an combination to the key box outside the room. The room was everything we expected and then some. Very clean, very nicely decorated and very nice sized. […] The queen bed was a bit hard and lumpy and not the most comfortable night sleep and the pull out couch bed had some springs missing or loose causing the mattress to sink, but it was fine for our 7 year old to sleep on. There were 2 things that made our stay a little less enjoyable: the fact that there are pets allowed on this premises and that some people had their pets off leash around the pool caused my son some grief (he is 7 and was attacked by a pit bull when he was 5). Dogs that bark and run up to him are still pretty scary, not to mention the 2 pit bulls who live up stairs that we only saw once and rarely come out. There was also an incident that was quite disturbing when we returned after being gone all day and the room had been cleaned and my husband discovered half of one of his prescription medicatioins missing. I immediately called the manager who responded immediately by calling the cleaning agency and in fairness, they said they didn't take it, but we contacted the police any way since it was a schedule IV narcotic and reported it. All in all, I would say it was a great stay, just be sure to take your valuables with you and watch out for any dogs that may be unrestrained by the pool (all rooms surround the pool). Everything perfect but the noisy bed.

Lovely experience at hotel, which is very close to beach (across the street) and close enough to restaurants/shopping, without being on top of it. recommend for someone who truely wants to get away, and relax. they have a daily contential breakfast, that was very good, all guests are very nice.

Nice place to stay, convenient, clean and priced right.

After checking in, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location, which is very close to Downtown Boca and the beach. Our room was wide open and very clean, but it wasn't until we tried laying on the bed that we realized how extremely noise it was. We checked in on a Friday afternoon, and found out all management is gone by 5pm. All weekend […] we had no access to anyone who could help. We went down to the office and there was a number to call, which we did, and asked about the WIFI not working. We were given a password which did not work. This hotel is not a chain, so you can't expect any of the usual things you would get at the Marriott. You can tell it used to be a very run down property, the owner invested a lot of money into modernizing the units and putting nice appliances and fixtures. But it seems as though they didn't invest in new beds. We had three nights of restless sleep and constant waking up due to the noise coming from the bed. Then comes the A/C, it's a "window shaker", which means there is no central air. We had to purchase a fan in order to keep the room cool during the night because the unit is so extremely loud, we couldn't keep it on high or we would be kept awake. I can't imagine having to stay there during the summer... If they would spend one night in their own room and realize how simple the problems are, the hotel would be amazing and I would recommend it to everyone. Overall nice older hotel in a beautiful area!

The stay was great and wonderful and the place was great would deffinitly stay there again next time. Just didn't get to enjoy it how long we should've stayed, but we had a family emergency. Great place though and Thanks Ocean Lodge!

In town for a reunion, family members booked 4 rooms. 3 of us arrived after 7 pm Fri. & our key info & welcome were taped to the office door. We had prepaid & saw only housekeeping staff during our 3 night stay. Dropped our key in the key return box on departure. This is a basic 50s/60s style 2 story motel, not at all fancy but with enough updates […] to make it comfortable now. The price was very reasonable and the location was perfect for us. One of the nicest aspects is it is across from a beautiful beach (although you walk through a wooded area to get there so don't see the water from the motel), so you don't have to pay for beach parking (which I believe is limited & expensive). All 4 rooms were very clean -- each with small fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, sink, pots, pans, dishes, utensils for 4, 1 or 2 queen beds, sofa, desk, small table & a few chairs. With tile floors, a bathroom with just the basics (no plug for our tub -- but we shower so that was ok), nice fluffy towels, it's a basic budget beach motel. Clean bedding. Unappealing brown decor. Very clean & generally well maintained. However, our bed was incredibly noisy - sit on it or turn over and you might awaken someone! The worst I've ever encountered. Another of us had a water pressure issue in the 2d floor bathroom - my brother learned not to shower until 5+ minutes after flushing the toilet. That could be fixed easily. Will it be? I don't know. Window A/C worked fine & had constant white noise that might bother some but would obscure any noise outside the room. (During our stay, all guests were quiet - it doesn't seem like the place for a party crowd.) Clean pool with nice deck chairs, right outside guest rooms. The hotel was fantastic. The manager was very helpful and very nice. The pool,rooms and sitting area were very clean. The hotel provided us with beach chairs,towelsand toys for the kids to play with it was a great place to spend our vacation. Would recommand to everyone.

I stayed at the Ocean Lodge Hotel with my son for a few night while visiting friends in Boca Raton. The hotel is very family friendly, clean and quaint. The pool was nice, and the hotel is within walking distance to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, the Red Reef park and the the beach. Beaches were lovely. The room we stayed in had a coffee machine, toaster […] oven, full range, microwave oven and mini refrigerator, plates, cooking/eating utensils, glasses and mugs. There are washing machines on the premises and the staff was very friendly and efficient. I would only recommend that the hotel consider having a vending machine on site for snacks/drinks and perhaps more powerful air conditioning, but other than that, we were very happy with our choice and would definitely come back again. Since they are a small hotel the office was closed by the time we got there to check-in. However, they had left an envelope with instructions on how to get the key using the combination they provided. Right outside your door they provided everything you would need to go to the pool and/or the beach...which happens to be just a block away!! Great beach, too! Del Ray is about a 15 minute drive along Ocean Blvd which was a lot of fun. On the way there we got to see all the amazing houses and beach fronts. Although we did not have "plastic" cups to take our coffee to-go in the morning I would highly recommend staying there. I would go back for sure! I would just make sure to bring my blow-dryer, some house slippers and to-go-cups. The only major flaw was that we could not get wireless internet service, but we were hardly in the room to even notice. I'm sure if we went to the office this would have been taken care of. This was a great little lodge in the heart of beach side Boca Raton. Cute rooms, very clean, excellent pool and lounge area. Could not have asked for anything more. Will definetly stay here again.

What a find! Perfect getaway hotel for my husband and I. It was excatly what we where looking for. Only problem was the ants in the kitchen but we kept everything in the fridge and it was not so bad. Living in Florida we understand how hard it is to get rid of those guys. Room was very clean and the sheets smelled great. Loved the pool very clean. stll needs some improvement. new ownership is working on it, so they said. some of the appliances did not work and had trouble with the wi-fi and cell phone. can you hear me now did not work in the room we were in.

Great value in Boca! Wonderful room at a quaint little hotel. Only thing to suggest ... needs an ice machine, and to mop floors after sweeping.

I was attending a convention at the Boca Raton Resort and all the rooms were booked. I wanted something on the water and found Ocean Lodge to be the most affordable. The fifties style on the outside is deceiving since it appears to be a small, out of the way place. The renovations are excellent and a surprise once you are inside. Wir haben uns in der Ocean-Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung und das Koch/Geschirr waren sehr gut. Der Pool war super. Der Strand war einmalig schön und über einen kurzen schattigen Weg wunderbar zu erreichen. Leider ließ sich unser Fenster nicht öffnen. Die Gegend hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen. gute Lage zum Strand, gute Lage zum Mizner Park. netter kleiner Pool, etwas ältere Möbel, gute Küchenausstattung, Rezeption nicht immer belegt, KEIN Telefon, Wlan vorhanden. Für längere Aufenthalte geeignet. Zimmer tür geht nach außen aus, keine richtige Verriegelung möglich.

Motel au confort simple mais propre. Très bien placé face à l'océan (une route à traverser). L'hotel prête des serviettes de plage et des chaises pliantes pour aller à la plage. Chambres vastes. Frigo, four micro onde, kitchenette. Petits déjeuners gratuits. Très bon choix.

Velbeliggende lige ved stranden med restauranter og shopping tæt ved. Lækkert poolområde og lounge. Dejlig morgenmad. Gode rummelige værelser med moderne indretning, rent og pænt, imødekommende personale.
