"Warm and inviting - I loved this hotel."
My daughter and I were traveling the Northeast visiting various colleges. We stayed at a number of hotels and this one was, by far, the best! The property was well maintained; the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool and exercise room were just what we needed after a long day […] of driving. The only problems we encountered were that the alarm clock did not work and upon checking in, the front desk displayed a sign that read, "assisting a guest. will be back soon." It was a good ten minute wait before the desk clerk returned and when she did, there were six guests in line waiting to check in. I will be staying at Country Inn hotels from now on! "Overnight with small children"
My daughter and I were traveling with her two children enroute to a family funteral. It was wonderful having the indoor pool for the children to relax in before bedtime. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and everyone was helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers!!!

We found this establishment a great joy to stay at. The room was clean, comforatble and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Our breakfasts were well prepared, even thought they were the usual hotel fare. The eating area was clean and well stocked, and the hostess very friendly. The location is a bit away from the heart […] of Winchester, but you could get to it in no more than 5 minutes. It was a quiet location, but if you wanted a movie, fast food, ggod steaks or Italian food, you could walk to any of them. It was very easy to get on the interstate from their lot. "Great but...."
The pool is rented out by a company providing swimming lessons and water aerobics to the general public. It is a pain as the lessons start at 3pm and aerobics doesn't stop until 8:30pm. Very inconvenient if you have kids. You can pay extra and join the class if you want but no use of the pool during that time without paying the fee! The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful with local sites and restaurants.
Great hotel. Extensive breakfast. Carrabas & outback within walking distance. Close to interstate. will stay there again.

This is a very clean hotel with polite and friendly employees. The free breakfast is outstanding, plenty items to choose from. The hotel is right off the interstate and a gas station right next to hotel to fill up when you're ready to get back on the road. Nice restaurants to choose from but most close by 11:00pm so get out early. There's a movie theater […] in the same parking lot of the hotel along with the restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. The movie theater,"Alamo drafthouse cinema" also serves real food while you watch the movie,but one warning use cash at this cinema because I was told the Secret Service was investigating a few employees for credit card fraud. "The best experience"
This was the best hotel experience I have had! Not only was the hostess accommodating and friendly but she went above and beyond by allowing us to check in early so we could get ready for a wedding we had to go to. This gave us enough time to let the kids swim in the pool for an hour and get all their energy out. "Very nice for a brief getaway"
My wife and I decided to take a weekend trip to get away and "relax". This hotel not too far a drive from Skyline drive and was a great base for our hiking excursions. The bed was a little too soft but we realize that taste vary. The Alamo cinema and drafthouse was a five minute walk away and a great way to enjoy a movie without the kids. "Very Nice"
Though i only stayed 1 night ..it was a great stay Everying from the room to customer service was Great!! and my grand daughters absolutly loved the breakfast!! :)
"Only problem we found"
The only problem we found is that the advertizement for the hotel says that all rooms have refridgerator and that is not true. The room they had reserved for us did not have one and as I have medicine that needs to be refriidgated. So they did get us another room but we were at one end of the hotel and the new room was at the other end downstarirs.

"Excellent Location, Great Value"
The hotel was right off the highway, easy to get to, and next to a movie theater that also sells dinner. Breakfast was very good and selection changed a little every day we were there. In addition, the front desk keeps delicious fresh cookies available for guests all day!

Stay at this hotel. Don't look any further! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The pool and spa are clean and relaxing. The continental breakfast was the best I ever had. Good job!

This hotel was delightfully comfortable in a most charming town/city. Be sure to drive downtown Winchester for a great experience.

We like it here because the children are able to walk to get dinner (at Mc Donalds) and then walk to the movies. We drive in to Old Winchester to get a very nice dinner at an ale pub. We've also gone to Outback(walking distance) and done take-out and eat in the room.

Our stay was long anticiptaed and enjoyed immensely. The pool and hot tub could have been a little "cleaner" but we enjoyed the use of them both, just the same. We were only disapppointed to find on our way out on discharge day the breakfast was going to be served an hour later (it was a holiday).
