"Convenient to Riverbanks Zoo and shopping!"
The Hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, the beds were so comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again. The Hilton Garden Inn is convenient to the mall, zoo and other attractions in the area. Great place to stay!!
"A Great Experience"
My wife and I spent a wonderful night at the Hilton Garden Inn on Harbison Blvd in Columbia , SC. The whirlpool suite was amazing. We really enjoyed the stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
"Could have been a Perfect stay EXCEPT..."
This is not the hotel's fault at all. I'm not sure how they could have handled/prevented this but there was a large rowdy crowd in the pool area. They were not wearing proper attire and had a few toddlers that didn't have supervision. The one girl started vomiting in the pool. The pulled her out of the pool and patted her back as she continued to puke […] on the tile right next to the pool. She finished vomiting and they put her back in the pool. They just left the mess in the pool and then right on the tile. It was disgusting! One of the reasons we picked this hotel was for the indoor pool which we didn't enjoy. "nice rooms"
the rooms are nice and updated. indoor pool and hot tub but i didnt look at them. i turned on the heat and smoke alarm went off at 3 am so we tried to fix it but instead it beeped every 3 minutes. overall it was a nice room

"Decent hotel in a quiet location"
The Hilton Garden Inn Harbison is a decent comfortable hotel in a quiet location of Columbia,SC. The rooms are neat, comfortable, the staff friendly, the breakfast is decent and it is good value for a pleasant stay in that area.
"Reasonable price for a nice hotel"
I took my friend and our daughters to this hotel for the weekend. It was in a convenient location and very clean. The breakfast was kind of pricey for essentially a "continental" breakfast, but that's my only complaint. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great--close to a variety of shopping and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable.

"Almost 5 stars"
The hotel was in a very nice location with everything that I needed. The only thing I could find wrong is that the elevators were not air conditioned. On a sweltering August day, it was a hot and sticky ride to my floor.
I was in Columbia for an event in the city. Even though the hotel was ten miles away, it was an easy drive to and fro. The hotel was very nice and the staff all went the extra mile to make my stay pleasurable. I will be back.

"Nice Hotel"
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. I would suggest; however, that the hotel periodically exterminate for bugs. There was a cockroach in my room and that was bit uncomfortable for me.

This hotel provides outstanding value. My room was very clean, comfortable, spacious. The hotel staff were very accommodating and proffessional. I will definately stay here on my next visit to Columbia.

Arrived late evening and was met with warm greeting and warm cookies at the front desk. Very clean and gave attention to all details - from check-in to check-out.
