Great room for price & enjoyed the stay. The train is not really loud that is close by & I am a lite sleeper.

The hotel is very close to the train tracks and the trains tend to be very loud. The staff is always very friendly to us. You can't beat the price!

no other lodging is available near this location. so, you're pretty much stuck with whatever this vendor chooses. the prices were double comparable lodging 20 miles away. a train track runs within 100 yards of the facility and trains ran about every half hour during the night. the breakfast bar was stocked with desiccated muffins and less than fresh […] fruit. no staff was available to clean rooms over the thanksgiving holiday. overall, better than sleeping in your car or driving 20 miles for better options Przeczytaj więcej

My family flew in from all over the nation to attend a family reunion in Soddy Daisy. This was over the 2012 Thanksgiving weekend. We checked in to discover there was no housekeeping service for the next 3 days -- our entire stay. The reason was all the staff simply took vacation. Further, the hallways smelled of heavy cigarette smoke the whole time […] (this was outside the no-smoking rooms), the toilet seat in my room was barely attached, and the phone connection had a sporadic short in the line. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, however. We would have turned around and found another hotel, but...there ARE no other hotels in Soddy Daisy! The hotel is located right next to the train tracks, so the train whistle kept some of our party awake at night. Next time we will have our reunion at a different location. If, however, you have to visit Soddy Daisy, stay at a hotel in quaint and wonderful Chattanooga about 14 miles away. Przeczytaj więcej

I thought Hometown was a very nice hotel for the price. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, rooms were clean.

No complaints. Room and hotel in general was very clean and we had a comfortable bed.

Not impressed at all. The owner and his family seemed to be indifferent to their customers. The "vending" area consisted of a worn out soda machine only. The breakfast was old donuts that were so hard I couldn't even bite into them. Will not be staying here again. The website fails to mention there is a railroad track that runs probably within 50 feet of the hotel; i.e., my head, and the trains ran all night. And when I went to use the phone it was massively dirty and the dirt was so caked in there the phone parts were stuck.

The room was great: quiet, nice bed and clean smelling. The breakfast offerings were small: two types of cereal, packaged donuts/roll, a basket of apples, oj and coffee. The night office staff hung up on me twice, charged us a second person fee even though I had a second person listed on the reservation.
