They also spoke communicative English. However, as the rooms are very tidy I don’t think the hotel deserves four stars. There was not enough space in the room for our luggage. We even had difficulties in putting our two coats in the only wardrobe in the room. Actually, even elevator and corridors were extremely narrow and a bit inconvenient, but that’s not a big deal. I didn’t use wi-fi nor had a breakfast thus I’m unable to comment those. I do recommend, but don’t be surprised with room size. The hotel area was clean and very safe. It’s been around 5 minutes walk to metro station and 4 minutes walk to Lidl. There are several nice restaurants very close to the metro station. Overall I enjoyed the stay there :)

"Hotel good but staff inflexible"
This hotel was comfortable clean and warm. However we were delayed on our journey to the hotel and were due to arrive after midnight. We called the hotel to tell them this and their reply was, if you do not arrive before 11.00pm there will be no one here to check you in. Pretty old hotel, small bedrooms as most French hotels are. Was clean and beds comfortable. Shower head not the best but good hot water. Second floor, no lifts, breakfast not included. "Nuits calmes et lits confortables."
Hôtel très calme, literie propre et très convenable. Cependant, la chambre aurait bien besoin d'une rénovation importante au niveau du sol qui a mal vieilli (linoléum douteux, plaintes en bois usées, sol sale dans les coins) et de la peinture des murs. Nous y avons cependant passé deux très bonnes nuits au niveau du calme et de la literie de bonne qualité. […] Il s'agissait d'une chambre de trois lits individuels qui convenait bien pour deux personnes. Le troisième lit, dissimulé sous un sommier est à tirer, mais l'espace doit être très exigu avec les trois lits. Nous déconseillons cette chambre pour trois personnes. Idéal pour cours séjour entre Vaux-Le-Vicomte et Fontainebleau, literie impeccable, avons bien dormi ! chambre en façade arrière trés calme et vue appréciable, grande salle de bains avec baignoire et toilettes, plateau bouilloire trés sympathique pour prendre le thé/café dans la chambre le soir ou matin.
