Adele Turner Inn - Newport

It's located very close to where you want to be. Great staff and welcome. On-site parking which is a real plus. The room was nice, bed was good. TV was a little small and the shower pressure was weak which was the only reason for a 4 on the room. All in all I would strongly recommend this property.

The staff was not well organized. We waited almost one hour for our breakfast because the "cook" also needed to check guests out. Plus the breakfast was just not good when we finally got it. I would never stay in this hotel again

We anticipated a lovely stay. We were greeted warmly and led to a very attractive room. However, one of the window blinds broke away from the wall and fell when we were trying to lower it at night. We (the guests) were able to jury-rig it back into place, so long as we neither raised or lowered it. The hotel's explanation was that they knew the blinds […] needed to be replaced as this was not the first time the blinds had fallen off the wall. In fact were scheduled to be replaced the following week. No effort to fix the window while we were there or any, "we're sorry, is there anything we can do to make up for this inconvenience?" Great B&B experience all round. Neat. Excellent breakfast. Room came with a sitting room and grand bath (if oddly located off the sitting room!) Nice garden for capturing the sun. Well located: a short walk to the waterfront and all the yachts; and a longer but manageable stroll to the Cliff Walk and the grand mansions.

Excellent hotel. Comfortable rooms and close to everything, but with limited onsite parking (small spaces, when we stayed multiple large SUVs took up two parking spaces each). There is alternate parking, but you need a pass which wasn't originally offered to us. Be sure to ask for it. Most street parking is resident-only.

The area of Newport is wonderful. The friendliness of all the Bed and breakfast was excellent. The downtown is only a 5 minute walf. I would definitely stay again there

Stayed for 1 year anniverssary. This hotel is great place for couples. Arrived in middle of afternoon to fresh fruit in teh parlor. The staff is sooo friendly. The innkeeper, Paris, is kind and helpful and truly dedicated to making your stay a wonderful experience (same with Cheryl the owner). Stayed room #6, the Great Gatsby Suite. Whirpool in the […] room is definitely the highlight and great for couples. Bed was comfortable and overall the room was clean. TV is defintiely small (about 15 inches) so just be aware of that. Breakfast is served in the parlor and was delicious. Three choices on the menu (but I'm sure they would make whatever else you want#. Menu items are breakfast sandwich, french toast or two poached eggs over a crab cake #comes with toast too#. Had the poached eggs...everything was flavored GREAT!! Adele Turner Inn is a great place for some quality romantic alone time for couples. The majority of guests are definitely older but no one judges #we are 20 somethings). The location was great ... easy walking to town in one direction and the beach and cliff walk in the other. Ours was one of the smaller rooms, but we were only there for 2 nights, so it was fine. The staff was very friendly and combined with some other amenities like afternoon tea, it was a fun experience to stay at this inn. Moreover it was very conveniently located, both for doing a little sightseeing as well as for the event that we were going to attend. Would certainly recommend it!

Great location, helpful staff. The jacuzzi in the Great Gatsby Suite was great. A small inn that has everything you need from parking to information to find your way around Newport to quality food. Great romantic getaway for couples.

Wonderful B&B staff, the breakfast with a choice menu is excellent and they always have tea and hot cocoa available. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the afternoon tea which was lovely. I was very impressed and it made for a wonderful stay in Newport.

This is what you come to expect in a bed and breakfast. Warmth, comfort, friendliness and a good, hearty breakfast. Not smothering. Everything was quaint and clean. The location was very convenient to downtown restaurants and shops. The staff was very welcoming and the facility was appointed with lots of historical references and antiques. A very nice full breakfast was provided. Security was good.

The Inn is inn need of repairs. The heat was on despite the Innkeeper telling us the heat was off and the radiators were hot. The heat made it unbearable to stay in the Inn. This Inn charges too much money for the state of repairs needed and much needed upkeep. Food was good but not worth the money unless they start upgrading the Inn.Location is good […] but other Inns in the area are nicer for same price and even less money. My daughter and I stayed at this Inn for two nights. It was a great choice. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet too. The hospitality at the Inn was excellent. Included was a full breakfast in a formal dining room. Very close to town and beach. Highly recommend it. We'll be staying there again.

We arrived at the Adele Turner inn several hours before check-in. Monique, our hostess and Cheryl, one of the owners, were very hospitable. They showed us around the guesthouse, helped us plan out our afternoon and recommended certain options to us. The inn is located just over a block from the main entertainment area so it was an easy walk to the shops, […] restaurants and kiosks where one may purchase boat trips etc. Breakfast is included as is 'high tea' in the afternoon.
