Best known as the location of the film “Shirley Valentine”, this peaceful resort lies on the southwest coast, five kilometres from Mikonos Town (connected by regular buses). Stayed three nights with two other couples, we had a great time. Little off the path if you want to walk to town, easy with vehicle or taxi. Great amenities, very nice and spacious rooms (we had a room with sea view and balcony). Vast majority of the time we weren't sleeping or exploring was spent at the fantastic pool. Only negative was that at first they did not have us in their system' we presented our paid confirmation and there was no problem (make sure to bring confirmation or call ahead to confirm). Secondly some customer service was sub par (pregnant friend wanted delivery pizza that she saw the neighbors with, concierge refused to order and said go through room service who doesn't have pizza. Had to order on our own and meet them at enterance.). Concierge can do most things for you but it is much cheaper to use their free wifi an do it yourself with more options. Nothing bad to report on this hotel. Georgeous views, pool, and rooms. Excellent service and quality with everything offered. Friendly employees that helps accomodate all of our needs.

I LOVED my stay at Saint John. Here are some of the positive and areas for improvement: Pros: - Views. The resort is built on a hill and every room has an ocean view. The view at sunset on the bar patio is absolutely gorgeous. - Pool. Infinite pool with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Pool side drink & snack service from the bar - Clean rooms. […] Everything shined in our room. - Service. Our calls were answered promptly most of the time. Everyone is very helpful. Cons - Remote location. Transportation can be a little tricky with no car. Because of this, the onsite convenience store did not carry enough amenities. - Spotty service. There was some miscommunication when we wanted our luggage to be transported up. "Villa in Mykonos"
We had a wonderful stay in the 3 room villa with two other couples while our adult children stayed in a couple of rooms. The villa came with the use of a rental car which was helpful to get to the beaches and shopping. There was a complementary shuttle to town until midnight and there was never a long wait for the shuttle. The staff was friendly, […] helpful and courteous. Any tours that you would want they can book them for you. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great. The morning buffet was huge and very good. Overall a wonderful place to stay!! The grounds are well kept, the pool area is gorgeous, and the property also has a private beach. There are four restaurants on premises and the breakfast buffet was wonderful - huge selection of foods. The room was very nice. We had a large terrace with a view of the ocean and Delos Island beyond. The bathroom was […] large though it had a strange mildew smell (maybe due to a water leak somewhere) and that was a bit unpleasant. We were a bit disappointed with our bed - we requested a double sized bed (or queen size) and what we got was two singles pushed together with a full-size comforter over it so that at first glance it appeared to be a full-size bed. If either one of us rolled over we would fall through the gap - this can be inconvenient for those on romantic holidays. Beyond that the staff was courteous, helpful with all requests, and very friendly. The hotel is outside of the main town so renting a car to get around is a definite must as it will allow you more flexibility, privacy, and comfort. One word of caution, do be sure you go over your bill upon checking out with a fine tooth comb. Unfortunately, we did not do that and upon closer inspection back home we saw several charges we did not incur. This is the first time this has ever happened to us at a hotel so we were a bit surprised they took the position that we should have reviewed it closely before departing and that we had to prove we really did not charge those items. Trying to sort this out with a hotel in Greece from the US has been frustrating and the only damper on an otherwise wonderful stay. juste magnifique, la piscine est sublime...on y a séjourné début septembre, il n'y avait donc pas trop de monde, juste parfait. Petit-déjeuner excellent, il ne manquait rien! shuttle pour l'aéroport gratuit. Juste un petit hic: méfiez vous du bailleur de scooter proposé par l'hôtel, ne pas lui laisser le permis de conduire car il ne vous le rendra pas […] à l'heure fixée...mieux vaut ne pas avoir un avion à prendre... Bom atendimento pelos funcionarios em geral, local muito bonito e agradavel, facil acesso as demais aeas de Mykonos e boa area de lazer em geral. Os apartamentos estao em niveis - platos - o que leva a ser necessario subir e descer escadas ou rampas. Nao e dificil mas pode dificultar para pessoas com dificuldades motoras ou idosos.
