First time stay and had a good experience. The hotel's second floor was closed for renovations, and we had to walk by some rooms being renovated on the 1st floor to get to the elevator, which had a strong smell from paint/new carpet. I always enjoy my stay at the Hampton Inn in Wells, however, my granddaughter found common pins on the rug and we were all running around barefoot so that was a little upsetting. Thank goodness she found them before one of us got one stuck in our foot. I reported to the manager and requested that they go in and do extra vacuuming and they complied.
