Great hotel, great staff, great experience out of the ordinary. The design elements of the hotel are well thought out, although the reception is a little confusing. Conveniently located. Really cool rooms and extremely comfortable beds... Downside, a neighbourhood that is still not up and coming (got caught in a mini riot outside of the hotel) but don't let that put you off.

"Hotel Kube in Paris - amazing hotel"
We chose the hotel online, and checked the location on a map. It is conveniently located near Gard de Nord and Montemarte. However, the hotel is located in "little Sri Lanka", which wasn't bad, just unexpected. Most of the surrounding stores serve Sri Lankan or Indian food, and Parisians we met said it wasn't the best neighborhood. We never felt unsafe […] walking around, even at night, though. Any concerns on the location were nothing compared to the hotel and staff. The place was beautiful, with amazing food, decor, and the Ice Kube, a bar made out of ice located in the hotel. Every single staff member we met was outstanding, and coming back to the hotel after sightseeing felt like coming home to friends. This hotel seemed to be entirely focused on the bar. You enter the hotel through the bar then wait in the bar for your room. The bar is full of trendy young things who showed absolutely no glimmer of recognition that we were guests (so much so we waited 30m for our v expensive cocktails on the Saturday night). "Different hotel in an AWFUL location!"
Background: we stayed for 4 nights in a double Kubed room. The good: Room was nice (not amazing) and very spacious for Paris. The staff were friendly enough and the fingerprint entry into the room was a novel touch. The bad: Location, location, location- this was awful! It's a very poor/run-down area and has zero charm. It's just not Paris, there […] is no stopping in little cafes/bistros nearby and watching the world go by, in fact we refused to use the metro after dark due to the safety risk. There were no feather pillows in the bedroom (this is a big minus for me). They did not replace the body cream in the room as apparently they had run out?! They didn't clean the toilet and replenish the toilet paper on one day. The room service menu is pretty non-existant. The restaurant is OK for a one off but you wouldn't want to eat there twice. The shower sprayed EVERYWHERE no matter what setting the shower was on. The music in the restaurant/lounge went on until 2am every night (except fpr Sunday) and we had to phone down several times to ask them to turn it down. It was also unnecessary as there was hardly anybody in the lounge/restaurant at the time. All the corridors and lifts smelt a bit musty and not very pleasant. "Kube Hotel - Paris"
Very nice hotel and room. We had a king bed and the room was very large for Paris. Very close to metro and buses. Room has an expresso maker and a great AV setup. WiFi was fast and free. Room has AC, so you can keep your window closed and keep out the street noise. Mini-bar prices seemed very expensive, so bring your own. cela fait plusieurs fois que je vais au Kube, la qualité est en baisse, chek in tres long si il ya d"autres personnes avant vous, la premiere chambre attibuée n'avait pas de tele fonctionnant et abat jour tres abimé 'decoupé au cutter), la reception nous a changé et surclassé pour cela tres reactif, malgré tout l"hotel manque d"entretien, eclairage […] de dessous de lit ne fonctionne pas , prise condamné dans le mur, la douche a ete changée et les trous de l'ancienne pas rebouchée et surtout robinet monté a l"envers attention aux brulures, plus de magazine dans les toilettes, machine a expresso dans la chambre mais pas de tasses 'pas pratique, menage le matin bruyant, le petit dej en chambre est tres limite, quand au restaurant plus rien a voir avec la qualité et l'originalité connue avant, le menu est tres decevant, le service est sympathique mais pas a la hauteur (notre reservation n'avait pas ete noté, obligé de reclamer 3 fois la carte des vins et 2 fois pour avoir la bouteille alors que le plat etait servi, enfin en rentrant vers 1H30 du matin une montagne de carton est entassé devant l'ascenceur, obligé de faire de l"escalade pour monter dans la chambre et evidemment personne au bar n'a bougé, quel dommage cet hotel etait tres agreable et original mais le manque de rigueur tire la prestation tres nettement vers le bas. Concept désign très abouti, qui donne presque envie de rester à l'hôtel ! A ne pas oublier : un passage au Ice Bar à -10°C. Brunch agréable. Personnel jeune mais très compétent. Dommage que le quartier soit inintéressant.

Le plus de cet hôtel les chambres. Elles sont agréables dans l air du temps mais l entretien est a surveiller, salle de bain abimée peinture écaillée. Dette hotellet ligger i SLUMMEN. Hotellet er sikkert greit nok, bortsett fra at det fremstår som en bar med hotellrom, ingen resepsjon og ingen hotellservice. Men beliggenheten er ille. Dama torte ikke gå ut alene og det vil jeg ikke anbefale heller, ligger i et nabolag hvor man helst bør være bevepnet.
Egner seg fortrinnsvis for yngre mennesker. svært spesielt interiør, mye i sort, svak belysning. Rom lyst og trivelig.

"HOTEL KUBE PARIS"
Nous sommes un couple et étions en voyage d'affaires sur Paris. Nous sommes habitués à toutes sortes d'hôtels étant nous-même des voyageurs, aussi de l'hôtel luxueux à l'hôtel plus simple nous avons testé beaucoup d'endroit. Notre séjour dans cet établissement a été épouvantable. Voilà le détail des prestations pour un prix trés élévé: pas de télévision […] (seule la chaîne RAI fonctionnait). Petit déjeuner minable avec café froid, servi en chambre sans confiture ni miel avec seulement quelques morceaux de pain grillés, chambre glacée à l'arrivée, salle de bain limite propre. La situation de cet Hôtel est vraiment inappropriée et sous notre chambre dés 8h du matin des travaux nous ont réveillés. Un seul gel douche dans la salle de bains, pas de coton à démaquiller aucun petit détail soigné, un trou dans la faience de la baignoire. Cet établissement trés prétentieux n'est absolument aps à recommander. Sehr schöne helle Zimmer im Gegensatz zum rest vom hotel. wir haben nicht im Hotel gefrühstückt da uns der Raum für ein frühstück doch etwas zu düster war. die lage des hotels ist ok, ein etwas verkommenes Viertel, dafür aber sehr ruhige lage in einer kleinen nebenstrasse. L'hôtel a un design singulier, contemporain sans pour autant être élitiste ou rebutant. L'hôtel est vraiment très beau. Les chambres cultivent une élégance simple, épurée et d'un style irréprochable. La suite que j'ai fréquenté était très agréable, belle, confortable et sans luxe tape ostentatoire ou de mauvaus goût. L'hôtel est dans un quartier populaire […] agréable à fréquenter le dimanche matin, dans lequel on peut trouver d'excellent petits restaurants indiens servant une cuisine simple, bon marché et délicieuse. Le personnel est compétent, courtois et aimable. Quatre autres bonnes surprise dans la junior suite : Elle est spacieuse, le minibar est bien garni, il y a une machine à café torréfié et les produits d'hygiène/cosmétiques sont de premieres qualités.
