"Becoming a bit run down, and noisy"
The hotel is near a fire house, which has a very loud siren which goes of whenever the firemen are called to action. Which can happen 24/7; so there is a chance you are wakened in the middle of the night by a loud siren. Also, the hotel is needing some maintenance; I've used this hotel for the last years and it is starting to degrade a bit, especially […] the airco's get noisier. "No shuttle after 7PM"
Hotel shuttle time was not clear when I make the reservation, it stopped at 7 PM. It cost me $17 taxi fare. If I knew ahead of time, I would have booked a higher price hotel with shuttle service.

Nothing inherently wrong with the property, just clueless people working there. I went to bed and started hearing a noise like someone was knocking on my door all night long --- it was the toilet exhaust fan on the roof going out. I normally would have asked for a different room but was so dead tired from running a marathon that morning that I just […] endured it rather than getting up. In the morning I went downstairs and the noise was very loud and noticeable in front of the elevators. I had been right above there on the second floor and could only imagine how loud it must have been on the third floor. I reported it to the front desk and the lady told me she had heard it the previous week and was intending to call maintenance, but she only knew of one other person that had come to the front desk to complain. I watched her go off shift and leave the property a few minutes later, so I doubt she called it in. I spend a lot of time in hotels and very rarely complain, but this was a very loud and obnoxious noise and a pretty simple maintenance issue. I couldn't believe the front desk knew of the problem for several days but were clueless that it might lead to customer dissatisfaction. "Solid as expected"
The staff were a bit rude and unwilling to look into an issue that I had until they got the manager. Other than that, everything was as expected. Solid wifi, clean rooms, even had microwave and fridge. Perfectly acceptable for business travelers.

"Nice hotel."
We were in our way to Cape May and we stop at La Quinta in Latham to split out trip in half. Clean, confortable and quiet. What we liked was the complementary breakfast. Very nice. Great service.
The hotel is getting seedy dirty smelly and allows animals on all the floors . Awaken by a barking dog.

"fine hotel"
We have not stayed at a LaQuinta before, but they were OK with us bringing our dog and apparently most Laquintas are. All was fine. We will use this chain again for sure.

The hotel was conviently located to Troy for our RPI events as well as close to the airport, the staff was friendly and very helpful.
The Hotel staff were very friendly - the only problem we had at this hotel was the room smelled of stale cigarettes - other than that the hotel stay was very comfortable - need to change out curtains and bedding from when you were allowed to smoke in the rooms

The hotel was comfortable - not outstanding - but comfortable. The breakfast was nice. I would stay here again.

We have used this hotel before and we used it for all our family that could get rooms some of the family had to split up because of availability we are close to our family that lives nearby We love the hotel and the breakfast it was very full this patricular weekend

"Perfect for airport convenience"
We needed an clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay near the airport; La Quinta was affordable and made an early flight less painful. The elvators were broken the night we stayed, but the staff promised they would be back up in the morning. It was fine for us because we were only on the 2nd floor. We did feel a bit bad for the fellows trying […] to carry what looked like a months worth of luggage up the stairs to the 4th floor.
