Great place to stay,

Pros: Two nice pools, kitchen in rooms, close to front st. Cons: No bar, no on site restaurant, limited front desk support and cleaning...no printer for flight check in.

The room had very nice amenities. We had a 1 bedroom suite, w/a sofa bed. The washer/dryer in the room was very convenient. Nicely decorated inside. Exterior seemed more like a worn wooden lodge and interior was asian-inspired clean lines. Since it's not a 'hotel,' you don't get daily room service (which is fine). But I wish I didn't have to constantly […] ask for more laundry detergent almost every day. They put 2 single use packs in the room. We stayed there for 7 days and ran a couple loads of laundry almost daily (you have to with a small child). Another small gripe -- the Outrigger gives out a reuseable bag for guests (nice touch) and an 'explorer kit' for kids ages 5-10. My daughter is 2 months shy of 5 yrs and they refused to give her the kit. I know it's petty, but they really didn't need to be such sticklers about it. Przeczytaj więcej

Upon arriving at Outrigger Aina Nalu it does not have an immediate high quality resort feel, however once in the open check in area it starts to feel a little more 'Hawaiian' and then stepping into the apartment is like a home away from home. Tastefully finished, fully equipped with everything you need, clean and comfortable with fantastic beds. Wandering […] through the resort to the pool area is quite nice, the larger pool area with hot tub, thatched roof shade beds, recreation room, and grassed area was fantastic, and very atmospheric with the flames lit at night. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. I was dissapointed at first to find that our unit backed onto the carpark rather than the lush areas of the resort, however, this ended up being no problem at all, no noise and handy to the car. Negatives were: Parking charge of $15 per night although parking anywhere else locally comes at a cost too. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 4pm and when we pointed out that our booking said 3pm check-in they were unapologetic and said 'anytime after 3pm'. It was not ready until 5:30pm, which was not handy with two very young kids having just been on 3 flights to get there. They eventually did not charge for parking for that day but were less than pleased with this request and again unapologietic. The Wifi is only available at the pool areas, not in the rooms, although cable internet is in the rooms this does not work with Ipad. There is no bath, which would be handy for young kids. While a decent place to stay, the parking issue is an absolute rip off. Your renting a condo, there are tons of parking spots on the property for the condo's. Yet they want to charge you $ 15.00 dollars a night to park. Or take a chance on the street's around the area. So go grocery shopping and then maybe you will get to park a couple of blocks away […] and lug your groceries up stairs when you get back. 35 to 50 spots open every night on the property. I can not rave enough on how great this place was. Who knew!! Great location if you don't mind being right on the beach. Easy walk to town and easy access to bus service. Clean functional !! Good location near to shops &bars & restaurants pool area kept clean , daily made service BBQ available for guests use , only Negative was the $15 charge per day to park your car in Acc grounds !!

They on clean your room when you leave therefore, you have to take out your own garbage. If you run out of toilet pAper you're out of luck. Otherwise a very nice hotel

Had a really good time in this hotel. The room is more like an apartment. Really nice. Good quality. Nice town, probably the best on the island.

Great location-a few blocks from front street and all the shopping/dining you could ask for...two pools and lush landscaping...quiet and secure...perfect for us!

I heard about this place from my brother in law who had glowing reviews after his stay. When we arrived we were not disappointed, and have chosen this hotel on 4 subsequent trips. The hotel is located near all the action in Lahaina, but still feels peaceful once you enter the grounds. The full kitchen, granite counter tops, and fantastic bathroom are […] as nice as any 5 star resort, but feel more "homey," than a typical resort. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, with a hot tub, as well as fresh and salt water pools. Lastly, everything is always spotlessly clean. A great room with everything you could possibly need. Perfectly located in Lahaina with just a 5 min walk to the main street. We would definitely stay here again with the only negative thing we could say is the $15 per night parking fee being a little steep considering you're paying to stay there anyway.

My wife and I stayed at the Aina Nalu facility in Lahina for 3 days prior to our 5 day visit to the Sheraton at Kanapali. We found the property, formally a Condo complex, very well cared for and of the finest accomodations. The one bedroom unit we stayed in was very clean and well kept. the kitchen, bath, and bedroom were very clean and well cared for. […] the location provider two large swimming pools and hot tubs. This is an excellent location for couples and large familys. I much prefer it cost and location wise to the more expensive and remote Sheraton. Parking is provided on location at an added cost. Free unsecured parking is available , but the streets are narrow and sum what congested. This should be corrected by providing parking at no cost, as there is sufficient room by all the units. Very nice place to stay. Great rooms, great pool area, walking distance to Lahaina. It is located away from all the big tourist magnet hotels, and that more than makes up for the fact that walking to the beach takes 5 minutes.

Loved the location, the people and the amenities, especially the large salt water infinity-edged pool. We were across the street from the best italian espresso and a block and a half from Front Steet restaurants, 3 or 4 blocks from the Harbor ships and did not need a car during our stay!

We just got back from Maui and I would recommend anyone to stay here. It is in walking distance to down town and the store. We had an awsome time in the pool and hot tub. The back door lead right out to the pool. Everyone was very friendly and hlepful. The room was very nice and rommy we had 6 people in our group. great hotel very clean the room was bigger than expected and included a full kitchen, beautiful surrounds and 2 very nice pools, If you are staying here you will need a car to get around but just a short walk to front street which is were all the resturants are located would recomend this to my family and friends :)

This place was nice: queen bed, large bathroom, wash machine, dryer, den, complete kitchen, phone and air conditioner. Quiet area within walking distance of the cities waterfront attractions. Parking $15 additional. Ask for a room at the end of a wing.

Handy location only a couple of blocks from old Lahina town and the water. Nice leafy subtropical surrounds with views of the mountains. Two swimming pools are great to lounge around. Overall, the Outrigger Aina Nula exceeded our expectations. The unit itself was well decorated, immaculate and well equipped. The grounds were beautiful and the two pools lovely. We were able to get parking on the street without any problem. Best of all was being in downtown Lahaina -- made for interesting early morning walks, as well as ease of dining […] and shopping. Our only complaint was that we had requested a 2BR, 2 bath with 2 twin beds in one room and didn't get the 2 twin beds. Their system of keeping track of the rooms was poorly organized. The Aina Nalu was beautiful! The grounds were lush and gorgeous! We loved the infinity pool. There were always enough chairs at the pools and plenty of places to relax. There were several barbeques, recycle bins, trash cans. Our condo was great! There were solar panels and air conditioning and fans in every room. The kitchen was very well stocked. There […] was laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, etc. They even loaded and unloaded the dishwasher when we didn't. They just forgot to leave us coffee one day, which was our only complaint. We enjoyed our stay very much, great, clean room with upgraded kitchen and bathroom and a great pool. Short walk to downtown Lahaina. The mountain view was awesome in the morning. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was located in waling distance to the downtown shopping district of Lahaina but was in a quiet area. We had an apartment for two -- living area, kitchen, bedroom and bath. but miss out on the luxuries of a hotel with full services. The condo was really nice and well kept up but the staff was mediocre. Close to downtown Lahaina but no good beach. Two pools with limited number of lounge chairs. This option is better for families but think a resort hotel is better if you're single or couple.

The Aina Nalu was beautiful and the location unbeatable...only a 3 block walk to Front Street. This is the perfect location if you wanted to be close to shopping and restaurants. On Maui of course you will still need a car if you want to visit different beaches and other parts of the island, so don't cancel that car rental just yet. Be prepared to pay […] $15 a night for parking which isn't that bad since parking is pretty difficult in this area, plus you'll have the convenience of having your car nearby. *Tip - there is a $5 all day parking lot located across the street from the Catholic Church/Cemetary. Its a small lot but is a great option if you want to save money. We booked a 2 bedroom with a king size bed and 2 twin beds unit on http://hotels.com but had to spend the first night in a unit that had one king and one queen so my kids shared the king size bed. Thank GOD we moved the following day because that first unit was very noisy. It was located in the rear of the property closest to the highway retaining wall. I couldn't sleep at all that first night because of the traffic noise and the rooster at 3 and 6 in the morning. The new room located in the middle of the property was both peaceful and just the right size for our family of four. My only complaint was the ghost ants. *Tip - keep all food in the fridge even if factory sealed. Don't leave anything out! We told the front desk about the ants the following morning and the exterminator came out immediately to remedy the problem. We did see a few ants during our 7 night stay but only straglers. The Aina Nalu has two great pools and a jaccuzi. There is free WiFi in the lobby and pool areas although connections are slow and spotty. There is also complimentary internet in the rooms but the connection again is slow and spotty...but come on now, you're in Hawaii...get off the darn computer! The recently renovated room was very nice and upscale except for the small television in the living room. The full kitchen and laundry room were very useful. The rooms were quiet and we were able to find free parking on the street though this may be due to the fact that we were there during the slow season. We had booked a "garden suite" and discovered it was a studio and much too small - the staff upgraded us with no fuss and minimal additional cost. The facility was beautiful, confortable, quiet, well maintained, and within very easy walking distance of 'downtown' Lahaina. Process of booking through Hotels.com was easy and made our trip afforable.

I was very impressed with my room. I especially loved the kitchen and the bathroom. My bed was a little lumpy however but not enough to dislike my stay here. I loved the location as it was very convenient to everything.

For the price this was a great place to stay... Newly renovated rooms and well kept grounds made for an ideal experience. Beautiful pool and bbq areas, fully equipped rooms save you money, and keep you right in the action. Was very pleased, would definitely return.

Having read previous reviews for this condo complex, we were expecting it to be nice. But it far surpassed our expectations! We did not stay near long enough - from Dec. 23 to 25, 2010. The room was large and beautiful for a one-bedroom. The grounds are meticulously kept - very clean and lush with flowers and vegetation. The pools are lots of fun for […] all ages. The many cabana huts are a great way to relax while being able to stay outdoors, even if it rains. And the large outdoor stone and wood gazebo is perfect for groups or individuals, has a TV, is beautifully decorated, and made us want to stay longer. When we stayed there, they were trimming the palm trees on the property and throwing them in a wood chipper right outside of our window which was extremely noisy. The hotel was very pleasant, beautiful grounds that were well kept, friendly staff, and 2 beautiful pools. The rooms were very clean and quiet, making this a great 1 week stay for us. Having the kitchenette was a huge advantage and the room was pretty spacious. It was great being so close to downtown Lahina- an easy walk to restaurants and shops.

Awesome location, very nice facility. My room was very small, but there are many different types available. Housekeeping staff was great. Very short walk to downtown Lahaina. Just make sure you do not pay the $15 per day parking fee unless you don't care about the money. We found parking spots on that street (free, no hour restrictions) every day. […] As long as you read the street signs you should be able to find a spot. Best looking hotel at the best rate. It has a very homey feel to it. Everything is clean and updated. Walking distance to all the shops and eateries.

We spent our last 3 nights in Hawaii here in Lahaina. Our unit was more spacious than expected and very comfortable after coming off of a cruise ship.The location was very convienient for shopping and restauraunts. Also we were in walking distance to the pier where we met for our snorkeling excursion. There are great beaches a short drive north. I do […] recommend renting a car because the expense and/or inconvience of taking a taxi or shuttle is greater than a few days of car rental. Loved the location of the room. Walking distance from all the shopping. The room was very nice, but the bed angle was opposite of the head board, a little weird but it worked. We would definatelystay again.

The room was nicer than most expensive hotels. The bathroom was incredible and everything delivered just like it looked on the website. While the outside itself is mildly dated, it was still beautiful. I wish they didn't close their pool area at 10. I enjoyed their outdoor area, just relaxing in their free cabanas, watching a little TV with some drink […] in hand. The bathrooms at the hotel area were amazing, nicer than most 5 star bathrooms.
