The Good: hotel was about a 15 minute walk to the main attractions in Eyre Square - easy if you don't mind crossing a busy round about and walking along... the highway for a bit. We chose this location because it was not right smack in the craziness, especially at night when the bars let out. It is very close to modern conveniences such as a Supermac's (fast food joint), Grocery Store, Cinema, and the like. The rate was very good, as was the service. Parking was ample and complimentary which was nice. There is also a small fitness room which although very basic, got the job done. Our room was very quiet, thankfully. Would loved to have been able to utilize the spa, but did not have the chance. The Not So Good: Furniture and ceilings in certain areas is starting to show some wear and could stand to be replaced. The late-night room service menu is extremely limited to just sandwiches. Basically any meal you haven't gotten from the hotel by 9 PM you won't be getting unless you go out and find something. Also there is only wifi available in the common areas, which is a fairly lame notion in this day and age. Oh and the "King" bed is merely two twins pushed together, so that the middle has a very uncomfortable divide in it.
