"Hang Around and Wait"
The check in time was 3 PM, and the room was not available until 6 PM. We showed up at 3:30 pm, and were told that our room was not ready, but that the room would be cleaned and come back in a half hour. We went out to eat and came back at 4:30, and did not get into the room until 6:00 PM. The first room that was give was not what was ordered (King), […] and had to return to the looby to get another room. It seemed like the maid staff was under staffed. My husband and I checked into the hotel for our 15th wedding anniversary after attending a wedding. We weren't in the room 20 minutes, when in the middle of changing our clothes, a male cleaning person walked right into our room! He didn't knock or announce that he was coming in! My husband asked him to leave since we were undressed and he just kept […] pushing his way into our room! I called the front desk immediately and told them what had happened. They apologized, said that shouldn't have happened and that the cleaner had lost his cell phone. I was extremely upset on the phone, felt unsafe. NO ONE ever called to check on us, offer us an apology from a manager or even offer us a bottle of water for our trouble. I will never stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone. We were in a room right across from the elevator..unless the hotel was completely full, I'm not sure why they would put us in that room. Also the mattress was not satisfying, it sagged on one side. "Going home after a busy weekend."
Everything was great, except that we had problems finding the hotel.Our fault, not yours.The only complaint we had was the breakfast buffet.
