Hotel Boria BCN - Barcelona

The Hote'sl location is very convenient. The rooms are very comfortable, well maintained and well decorated. The only downside is that in the first floor rooms are a bit dark, however were out most part of the day so that was not a problem for us. Hotel's staff was very helpful. I would strongly recomend this hotel in Barcelona

The location of this Boria is perfect! It's right next to the Cathedrals and less than a minute to the Metro station. The staff there are extremely helpful and friendly. They speak (near) perfect English! I stayed in a Loft and there was another room inside the room, which I never get to use. Very large rooms and comfortable. We took the loft there and it was very big And pretty! The neighborhood is awesome And everything is very clean. I was bummed up to find out that the Kitchen is mostly for beauty and that The only thing that is meant to work there Is the water boiler and the microwave. The positives - very modern and comfortable hotel in an excellent location for tourists. Just a few steps away from the old cathedral and a subway stop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The negatives - the stove in the kitchenette didn't work, and the beds are hard. Also, the roof leaked when it rained hard one night.

This hotel is tucked away in the middle of the Gothic District of Barcelona and is inaccessible by car (pedestrial streets only). However, the hotel is modern and has lovely facilities and decor in spite of the fact that it is in a very old area of town. Highly convenient to the Picasso Museo, shopping and several of the lovely cathedral plazas in […] the District. The bay is about 8 blocks away but in walking distance. We stayed three nights but ended up having to change rooms due to a mix-up in the hotel reservation, which they charged us to remedy (a LOT, too). Although they all spoke English, the staff is not friendly and minimimally helpful except for 1 team member (Maria) who went out of her way to help us - she was a great example to her team members. The hotel is nearly impossible to get to by car - so don't drive there. It's conveniently located by a Metro stop and in a thriving part of town. The rooms are surprisingly well appointed and very large. Also, for such a busy part of town, they were surprisingly quiet. This is a great hotel tucked in the gothic district. The personal service, large, luxurious rooms and location make this a great hotel in Barcelona.

We really enjoyed our stay here, we stayed in a "Loft" which has a king (real king size) in the main room and two twins in the secondary room. It was more than enough room for a family of four. We were greeted with complementary cava (spanish sparkling wine) and chocolates. The hotel is very rustic feeling being in an old building but modern feeling. […] The bed was very comfortable, which I hear is rare in Barcelona. The lift is very small as other reviews have said and it is located up a couple of steps so if you are completely wheelchair bound this hotel is not for you. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The taxi may have a hard time finding it so bring a map, but if you are going to take the subway you are only a few steps away. Perfekt beliggenhet i den gamle bydelen mellom katedralen og St Maria Del Mar. Kort gangavstand til severdigheter, resturanter og shopping. Nærmeste T-banestasjon bare 100 meter unna. Lite hotel i smal, enveiskjørt gate - så måtte gå de siste 50 meterne. For oss ukjente var hotelinngangen nesten usynlig fra gaten, så vi gikk forbi. Men da kom resepsjonisten […] ut i døren og lurte på om det var hit vi skulle. Veldig serviceinnstillt resepsjon. Det er smale trapper opp til rommene, og hotellets ene heis er svært liten - så familer med barn i vogn anbefales å finne noe annet. Vi fikk et stort rom (heller en leilighet) med to bad/wc, to separate soveavdelinger med oppholdsrom og en kjøkkenkrok i midten. Vi er en familie med to voksne og tre barn i alderen 9 - 13, og anbefaler hotellet gjerne for andre som ikke passer inn i 2+2 formen som de fleste hotelrom er tilpasset. Przeczytaj więcej

Man kan dårligt ønske sig et hotel der ligger mere centralt. Man blev taget rigtig godt imod. Så det kan bestemt anbefales

Fik lov at tjekke ind 2 timer før tid og blev oveni opgraderet til en suite uden beregning :) Personalet var søde og yderst hjælpsomme. Vi havde 3 fantastiske dage i Barcelona!

Hotel BCN ligger ideelt for de der vil opleve byens fremragende butikker og restauranter beliggende midt i et gammelt, hyggeligt kvarter med masser af små, snørklede, krogede gader og stræder. Man kan nærmest fare vild i dem - men på den gode måde. Hotellet ligger 15-20 minutters gang fra havnen og stranden. Vi boede på et "Superior" værelse - hvilket […] navnet for een gang skyld levede op til. Klart mere en hotellejlighed end bare et værelse. To soveværelser (et mod lidt støjende gade, et mod gården) stort badeværelse og stor stue/køkken. Rengøringen var glimrende - de tog også den lille opvask vi fik opbygget hver dag. Internet fungerede dog dårligt. Ret langsomt men værre endnu så mistede man konstant forbindelsen så man skulle logge på igen. Hvilket kunne være umuligt i perioder. Øv. Måske en misforståelse fra vores side men: der er ingen balkon/altan til værelserne som beskrevet. De fælles tagteresser (to stk) var aflåste. Ret øv. Receptionen er super hjælpsom. De sørgede for bordbestilling til Comerc 24, fodboldbilletter til FCB vs Real mv. Talte i øvrigt udemærket engelsk. Alt i alt et hotel der sagtens kan anbefales. Przeczytaj więcej

Prettig hotel, alles wat je nodig hebt voor een Citytrip vindt je om de hoek op loopafstand. (voor ons in ieder geval). 1 Tip, voor 's nachts oordoppen ivm herrie van de straat.

Helgen med den første søndag i advent hadde vi 4 studievenninner i Barcelona. Fantastisk med sol og varme. Hotellet lå fint til i en rolig gate. Rommene(leiligheten) passet oss perfekt...god plass.Kort vei til shopping, severdigheter og en fantastisk musikk og viseklubb full av spanjoler like ved hotellinngangen. Vi var storfornøyd!!!!!!!!

Hotellets läge är perfekt, nära till strand, shopping och sevärdheter. Personalen var trevliga och rummen fina. Det fanns ett kök men spisen fungerade inte och det fanns inga kastruller eller stekpannor. Köksutrustningen passade endast till enklare måltider och frukost vilket kan vara bra att veta.

Me and my wife hade the superior room on the top floor (401). The room was very big. Seperate living room with kitchen and bedroom, no doors in between. Smelled of cleaners alot as if hiding some other smell. The kitchen is just for show, only microwave owen and fridge works. There's a bar right outside that is open every day of week that you can hear […] from the room. No resupply of shampoo and some other stuff on our 4 nights stay , we had to ask for more. The terrace had no furniture at all. Location is greate, best place in all of Barcelona to get something to eat. And walking distance to Ramblas and beach. Hotellet ligger mitt i de vindlande gränderna i en underbart charmig del av Barcelona. Personalen är oerhört hjälpsam och vänlig. Superior rummet vi bodde i bestod av en sällskapsdel och två separata sovrum utan dörrar och ett väl tilltaget badrum med toa. Allt väldigt fräscht. Oerhört centralt men absolut inte högljutt läge. Det är nära till mysig […] boutiqe shopping och härliga restauranger på vackra torg. Stränderna är inom promenadavstånd liksom olika sevärdheter och Ramblan. We stayed 5 guys in a Loft room for 3 nights. The main room was perfect. The second bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchenarea was nice, but the ceiling was very low, thus scandinavian guys must expect to constantly clash their heads into doors, etc. The roof top terrace was nice, but it could use som new furniture. There is absolute no need for a […] breakfast restaurant, as the area is flooding with nice restaurants providing an excellent choice, Staff was very polite and gave good service when needed. In general, we were very satisfied. A cava was waiting for us in the room upon arrival. The appartment/room has high standard and good location close to restaurants and a short 10 min walk to the city center. The room was not made ready for us the first night and bed sheets, pillows, etc was missing when we returned for the night. This was clearly a misunderstanding between the maid/housekeeping and the staff, but noone could solve the […] problem in the evening. Et dejligt roligt hotel med meget høj standard og god central beliggenhed, blot 5 minutters gang fra Ramblaen. Værelser i top og flotte faciliteter - restaurant, fitnesscenter, spa og tagterasse med swimmingpool. Fantastisk hjælpsomt personale.

Litt vanskelig å "oppdage" hotellet, da fasaden og inngangspartiet ikke er typisk hotellinngang. Resepsjonen bestod kun av en pult midt i lokalet, og lignet mer et bibliotek enn hotell...men servicen var enestående, og rommene/leilighetene var virkelig romslige og flotte, med kjøkkenløsning slik at man kunne spise frokosten før man dro ut. Moderne interiør. […] Vårt rom hadde litt stusselig utsikt midt mot innegårdvegger, men det gjorde ikke noe. Hôtel très confortable et bien situé dans Barcelone Nous avions chosi un appart-hôtel, or il est impossible de faire cuisiner un repas dans l'appartement (vaisselle succinte permettant la prise du petit déjeuner, possibilité de rechauffer des plats préparés (absence de plats, lave-vaisselle non fonctionnel : vaisselle faite par le service de chambre). […] Environnement assez calme ...à partir de 23 heures, Les chambres sont très spacieuses (literie de bonne qualité), de même que la partie sanitaire. Hotel Boria var virkelig en god oplevelse! Umiddelbart var det lidt svært at finde, men kun fordi facaden slet ikke lignede et hotel. Vi kom ca 1 time for tidligt, men fik uden problemer vores værelse. Værelset var hvad de vist kaldte et "loft" værelse, i 2 forskudte plan og med plads til 4. Der var 2 super lækre badeværelser og en lille køkken niche. […] Der stod en lille flaske cava klar på køl til os, samt lidt lækkert chokolade. Fint hotell med sentral beliggenhet i forhold til severdigheter, shopping og havneområde. Liker man utsikt velger man ikke dette hotellet, da man bare ser inn i en trang handle/bolig gate.

Ett mycket bra hotel som är bra beläget. Stora och fina rum med kvalitets inredning. Mycket bra för barnfamiljer. Vi kommer att återkomma till hotellet.

Posizione centrale, vicino alla metro Jaume I, ma in una stradina abbastanza equivoca in un quartiere dall'aspetto abbastanza malfamato pur se è una traversa di via Laietana. Edificio molto vecchio, anche maleodorante, appartamenti abbastanza ben tenuti e confortevoli. Grande disponibilità e cortesia del personale. Non ci sono spazi comuni (hall, bar […] etc.).
