The hotel was nice, but next time will stay downtown. We had to drive downtown and spent a lot on parking.

"Unclean!"
The hotel looked ok, however when we got into the room it was a different story. There was dried up pop on the bedside table and the bottle was on the floor. The rest room was disgusting...there was feces on the door and the faucets looked like they weren't even wiped from the previous guests. "Hot Springs Getaway"
Overall the hotel stay was good. You could tell it was an older hotel, but it was very clean and next to the Blue Monkey Restaurant which is a great place to eat. I totally recommend it to others.

very clean. great location. easy access and only minutes from downtown historic district. Great breakfast that changes daily. Indoor pool and hot tub. very quiet. front desk always very helpful.
The sofa bed for my kids had seen better days, but overall our experience here was great! One of the few true suites with 2 rooms in Hot Springs, at least as far as I could find.

The country inn and suites is a nice hotel. It is located a couple of miles away from downtown where the main strip/bath houses/casino is located. Our room was clean and well stocked. The free breakfast every morning is decent with a good variety of items. We saved the money we would have spent on breakfast and went to nicer places to eat for lunch and dinner. The mattress on the bed was a bit on the uncomfortable side but I have a sensitive back but every bed besides my own is uncomfortable to me. Great hotel in a decent location for a good price. "Country Inn @ Suites by Carlson, Hot Springs"
We arrived at the hotel at 12:30 pm to be told the room would not be ready for at least another hour. Once we did get into the room, the drapes that covered the window were see through and did not shield the outside light at all. After about 1 hour the air conditioner stopped working. Upon calling the desk, we were told we could either wait for the […] repair man to arrive or move to another room. We opted to move. Our daughter was excited about swimming in the indoor pool. When we got to the pool, other guests informed us that someone had had a bowel movement in the pool and it was still there. The front desk was called several times and finally the pool was closed. This was around 7:30 pm. The next morning around 9:00 am there were guests in the pool. We decided to move to the hot tub since we couldn't use the pool. After about 10 minutes, we began to notice mold and mildue on the side of the tub and around the overflow drains which looked to have been there awhile. We go to Hot Springs at least twice a year and after this experience with Country Inn @ Suites, we will never stay there again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone we consider a friend. The room smelled musty. The pool is small and over crowed, the water was cold. The breakfast area is very small, only about 6 small tables. The employees worked very hard always very nice. Internet problems on our stay didn't help.

We recently spent three nights at the Country Inn and Suites in Hot Springs. When we checked into our room, we noticed it seemed a little warm, but figured it would cool off with the air on high. After going out for a few hours, we came back to a sweltering room! We called the desk and they did immedicately move us to another room. This room had significant […] water damage.....including some spots in the bathroom that looked suspiciously like mold. We were on the top floor, so the damage had to be due to a roof leak. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming down, and there were even water damage spots above the bed. The worst problem, however, was the horribly rude maids! They would just open the door and walk into your room without even knocking! After the second morning of this, we just had them give us clean towels and leave. The breakfast was good, although the breakfast area was very small and crowded. The desk clerks were overall very nice, except for the fact that I had to wait 5 minutes for one to come in from smoking out front so I could check out. "Nice swiming pool, not so good fitness area"
Indoor swiming pool was nice. Fitness room had a treadmil and one weight machine with a small TV facing to the treadmil. No cup at water tank.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Country Inn and Suites during our recent vacation to Hot Springs, Arkansas. Everything was awesome! The breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely stay at the Country Inn the next time we return to Hot Springs!
"room was comfortable although.."
the room seemed to smell like it used to be a smoking room at one time..sorta stale. Breakfast was a disappointment..canned fruit, frozen donuts and plain milk gravy with breaded chicken as a side one day. Not even oatmeal one day! Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

The pillows were great. I guess they were feather. The only real complaint I have is the soda vending machine was down for three days and no one seemed overly concerned about fixing it. You couldn't buy anything to drink in the entire hotel.

Good location. Except for what you have to drive through to get to downtown where everything is. great staff and very friendly. Great hot breakfast in the mornings! Nothing much to complain about except for the area. Wish we were a little closer to downtown so we would not have to drive through 'the ghetto'.

This hotel is a little high priced,but it was right next door to the Econo Lodge where we were going to stay,but after seeing their awful room`s,we walked next door to this hotel. It was so nice to get a really nice,clean room & a hot breakfast the next morning.We would definately recommend this hotel & would stay again.

The location is great, right near everything you need. The air conditioner in my room would never work right while i was there.I wasn't given a password for wifi , so when i tried to log back on later i couldnt get on because i needed a password.Other than that the room was nice and clean.

"No refrigerator"
The only thing I didn't expect was that the hotel had no microwave or frig. in the rooms.I like to bring left overs from dinner or have my own drinks. This place has good breakfast, clean and was nice and cold in the room

All we expected even tho the reservation was mixed up they made sure we got what we needed and expected was a little disappointed by boiled eggs for breakfast. And should look at ft worths shuttle service would have been nice to not have to rely on cab service but overall good experience .

Pros: One of the best continintal breakfasts. It was nice to have a hot breakfast and many other choices. Room was clean and staff friendly. Was one of the better hotels in the area. Cons: The air in my room was not working properly. I called the front desk and after telling the guy the air was not working that it was set at 65 but felt like 80 and […] kept shutting off. He told me it was supposed to shut off??? What? I told him I need a fan and he did give me one but I had to go get it. he next morning I called after sweating all night and they sent a maint person which fixed the problem. The rooms are reasonably spacious. The complimentary breakfast is adequate. Although the hotel is non-smoking throughout, I was put in a room in which the previous occupant had smoked. The manager found me an alternative room and I was satisfied.
The room was nice and clean and the hotel was in a pretty central location, lots of parking space. The problems we had was our room light was burnt out and no one ever fixed it and my friends very expensive ring came up missing!!! This was our first time staying at a Country Inn and Suites and we loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the coffee & cookies in the lobby by the fireplace. We liked that the hot breakfast choices changed daily (one morning was eggs & bacon, the next day was biscuits & gravy sausage). The decor made you feel like you were at home. […] The room was comfortable and spacious. Desk size was more than adequate for working on my laptop. Very close to some major chain restaurants and the tourist sites. "Country inn & Suites - Near shopping"
The location of the hotel wasn't bad it was not to far from down town hot springs. Also close to the mall. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was really good too! The pool area was nice and clean; the whirlpool was a little small.
"Simple Upkeep"
This hotel was very nice,It's a shame that simple repairs arn't made to keep it that way.Such as the shower head in our room is spraying out around the base, getting the wall & floor soaked. Shower heads are not as expensive as replacing the wall behind the shower or the floor where the shower sprays out

the country inn and suites hot springs, arkansas is a great place to stay. i took my brother on vacation to hot springs and we had a great time. the hotel was convenient, near the lake and within a few miles of most of the things we wanted to stay. they provided a good breakfast and great service. the room, as well as the rest of the hotel was very […] clean. we were only there for one night, but i wanted to stay longer. i will definitely recommend this hotel to others and plan to stay there again next time i visit hot springs.
