Wróciłam z najpiękniejszych wakacji w swoim życiu. Hotel Castelvecchi to wymarzone miejsce dla osób ceniących piękno przyrody, spokój, doznania estetyczne i oczywiście wino! Stare kamienne domki, cudowny ogród, wiscina, restauracja, fachowa i miła obsługa :) A wszystko w centrum winnicy na wzgórzu, z którego rozciąga się widok zapierający dech w piersiach.... Jest także basen i leniwie przeciągające się kotki... Cudowne miejsce dla osób w każdym wieku :) Polecam!

"Good hotel but remote location"
We had a good room and everything looked well maintained but we took some time to find the place as the address was not recognized by the navigation software. Breakfast was ok but staff were too snooty and impolite. I would not go back.

"Excellent hotel to stay and drive around Tuscuny"
Centrally located in Tuscany near Siena right off the freeway. Excellent staff and service; greeted us with a smile and very helpful with telling us about places to visit in the area. Breakfast was absolutely the best we had among many hotels we stayed in Italy, in addition to standard breakfast items they have freshly squeezed orange juice, ham and […] cheese and eggs etc. Free wifi, parking, pool and spa are great too. Must have a car if you stay in this hotel as it is not walking distance to anything; which was perfect for us since we wanted to stay in a quit place away from touristy areas with traffic and parking problems but still be able to take day trips to all the best sightseeing spots in Tuscany. The hotel has a very modern design and cool style but unfortunately is showing signs of neglect on maintenance (mostly cosmetic around showers and pool areas) not a big deal considering the price range but just an observation. "good experience"
The hotel staff were very helpful and the location was perfect for us. We were just a few minutes from Siena. the breakfast was great and the capuchino was the best. The room was quiet, neat and clean.

"Good hotel"
Located 15 min driving from the city walls of Siena, but easy to find. Must have a car. There's a excellent coffee break, the best I saw during my trip in Italy. From the balcony you can enjoy the tuscan landscapes. Overall the price is very reasonable. Recomended.

"bad finish, cramped room, helpful staff"
staff was great. we had 3 in a room and it was not worth the extra money we paid. they just had a very small uncomfortable fold out for the 3rd person to sleep on and there was very little room for 3 people plus luggage to fit in that room and still move around.
Christiana and Nico (hotel staff) went above and beyond to help us in our travels. The entire staff was courteous and very helpfull. The stay at the hotel was amazing and the views of the countryside outside the hotel were breath taking. All A + ratings for the entire experience.
"to long distance to everything"
The location was hard to find and you could not find any restaurants in the near. The hotel restaurant was indoor and not very exciting and also expensive. The closest little village had no restaurants, pizza bars, trattories. There was a supermarket 10 min. drive from the hotel.

This is a great hotel for exploring the surrounding areas of Siena and Chianti. It is in the middle of nowhere and as a very relaxed atmosphere. it was very easy to get to hotel. the hotel is close to high way , but in quite neiborhood.Staff is really helpfull. The only problem was that there isn't any restorant besides of the hotel's restorant and it's very expensive.
"Worth the trip"
Really nice stay in this hotel; people are really nice and standard are very good. Very nice to enjoy the swimming pool and breakfast. We enjoyed it as it is ideally located to visit chianti and sienna.

We were disappointed with this hotel. In the pictures it looked really stylish but when we got there the hotel was in disrepair and not clean. It is really ashame because it was a cool, modern concept but it has not been maintained. I saw several things in the hotel that should have been fixed and weren't. Above all, the hotel was dirty. Quiet location. Very modern and comfortable. With a car, it is in close proximity to Siena and the freeway leading to other small towns in the Tuscany region. We stayed here for two nights in August 2009. They had the best breakfast of all 6 of the hotels we stayed in on our trip. Montaperti er et rigtig, godt udgangspunkt for at tage på opdagelse i Toscana's bedste områder, de sydlige. Hotellet er rigtig godt - men dets beliggenhed kræver, at du har bil til rådighed.
