Very comfortable beds--even the sofa bed where my husband slept having a restless night was great! Little kitchenette was perfect for small, simple meals--full equipped for the basics! Great bathroom, tub and waterpik showerhead! Lots of space--very generous-sized room. Would be fantastic for skiing/boarding. Located at 9300 feet altitude per our Garmin […] GPS--so beware for those coming from sea-level! This will be a big adjustment. We live at 5000 feet and did have some trouble sleeping. "The Grand Lodge at Crested Butte-Breathtaking"
The appearance and setting around this hotel are breathtaking. The lobby is very open and inviting, the room was large and had wonderfull views.Really unique and relaxing exprience.

Hotel was great. We were there for a family reunion and were very pleased by the accommodations. The rooms were big and the staff was very helpful. Would stay again.

"Grand Lodge Crested Butte"
everything was "just right". We enjoyed the spacious room and the kitchenette facilities. My only disappointment was that the complimentary one ride lift ticket was not available on reservations not made directly through the hotel. There were ads all over town about get your free lift ticket when you stay with us, but when we inquired it was a "oh, […] that doesn't apply to you" situation. If we'd paid a discount rate I'd understand, but I know we paid the same as the direct rate at the time of the reservation and in fact a higher rate than the advertisted rate at the time. "The Grand Lodge is not so grand!"
I stayed at this hotel hoping to take advantage of the kitchenette to cook all of my meals. It was difficult to do so because the kitchenette was poorly stocked. But ...although it's frustrating...if you are looking to save money by cooking your meals, this hotel is probably the best bargain in the area. Also, there are no windows in the bedrooms. Found […] it hard to sleep, although there was a ceiling fan. All the windows are in the living/kitchenette area which is down a long hall from the bedroom. "Wow - great stay"
This was a great place to stay. Convenient to all activities on the mountain. Very clean, the room was great and the staff was outstanding. Will definately stay again!

"Summer Vacation"
GL-CB was a great place to come back to in the evenings during our summer vacation. Pool and restraunt were nice to have and very relaxing for us (and of course, the weather was great)!

Very nice hotel at a reasonable price. Centrally located near the transit center and ski lifts in Mt. Crested Butte. Very pleasant staff.

"In der Nebensaison"
Der Sommer ist in Crested Butte erkennbar die Nebensaison. Alles ist auf den Wintersport ausgerichtet. Dementsprechend wenig war auch das Hotel frequentiert, jedoch waren alle Einrichtungen vorgehalten, ebenso der Pool, Hot Tub und Sauna. Allerdings haben wir die zuletzt genannten Einrichtungen nicht genutzt (wir waren ja der Landschaft wegen in Crested […] Butte) und in der Sauna roch es nicht nach Schwedenkräutern, sondern ziemlich "muffig". Das Frühstücksbuffet haben wir nicht genutzt, weil das zum ohnehin üppigen Zimmerpreis nochmals knapp zehn Dollar pro Nase gekostet hätte. Eine Reklamation wegen quitschender Badezimmertür wurde schnell und zur Zufriedenheit erledigt: Der Mitarbeiter hatte sogar noch seine Visitenkarte hinterlassen, der zu entnehmen war, was er gemacht hatte.
