"Great hotel!"
This hotel is at the top of my list for not only Holiday Inn Express hotels, but all of the hotels I've stayed at over the past year. The front desk clerks were extremely friendly and accomodating. The room was spacious and CLEAN, and located right across from the indoor pool, (which was a plus, given the fact that we were travelling with our children.) […] The free breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The money we saved by not having to go out to a restaurant for breakfast made up the difference for the cost of staying at a higher grade hotel. My only complaint (for lack of a better word) was that there were only 2 sets of towels, yet our reservation showed that we were travelling with our kids. Not a big deal, though. I always have to go to the front desk and ask for towel for everyone, no matter where we stay. I just wish hotels in general would take that into consideration when they're looking for ways to anticipate the needs of their guests...like they were expecting us. "Holiday inn in P.a white haven"
Well this hotel holiday inn was. Very clean and cozy also nice rooms. And the bathrooms are amazing also clean and has everything .
"Next to Lake harmony"
If you are visiting Lake harmony, this is the place to stay. Close enough to be a five minute drive and much nicer, cleaner, and newer than anything at the resort. CHEAPER too!!! Staff was attentive and friendly, rooms were top notch, quiet and great place to stay.

My wife and I planned a quiet weekend get-away. It was anything but. We stayed in room 307. There must have been a family with about four kids down the hall from us. I turn in at 9 PM nightly but getting any sleep was fruitless. We had kids running up and down the hallways shouting and carrying on. It was like trying to sleep at a rock concert. We arrived on Friday and was greeted by Julie who is the most friendliest and helpful person. She was able to recommend some good a nice place for dinner. We had our kids with us 6 and 5 months old so the place she recommended was very accomdating for a family. "Clean, Nice Pool, HARD to FIND"
Make sure you call the actual hotel front desk for directions! The hotel's location is not accurate on Google Maps or via i-phone GPS. Breakfast was lacking in fresh fruit and yogurt. The scrambled eggs were fine. "Fitness room" had only 3 machines. However, all staff were friendly, and the room was very, very clean.

We have a wonderful stay. Rooms modern, clean, spacious, and nice amenities. Yummy breakfast til10:00 AM, nice pool with clean towels. Very close to Split Rock Indoor Water Park and skiing. Most local stores such as CVS and Ahart's Grocery close early due to small town community. Wawa and McDonald's very close and open 24 hours. We'd recommend Holiday Express hands down! "good place for a tryst"
We stayed here due to the proximity of the hotel to Jack Frost/Big Boulder. We stayed because of the brand, and it didn't fail. The room looked great and clean for the one night. As I plugged in my iPad, I noticed somthing hanging from the lampshade on the other side of the bed- a pair of women's leopard print underwear (in a location that only one […] angle could have seen it). We made a call and the front desk staff came up to remove them. Joann, who ran the front desk in the morning, had heard of our "adventure" and we laughed about it after she apologized on behalf of the staff. "Great Hotel"
It was clean, great service, hot breakfast was excellent, pool very clean and warm, fitness ctr was nice and clean. I would recommend that the hotel purchase some dryers to dry bathing suits, towels after the use of the pool.
This was our third stay at this hotel. We come back because of the cleanliness and location.

"Convience"
Every year we go to the indoor water park at split rock resort and snowtubing. The hotel was 10 minutes away from both attractions. Room was very spaceous and very clean. would stay again.
"beware of "bad parenting" on young children"
location was good, although there was evidence on two nights of "bad parenting" of their children. Children are great, as it is the parents or the guardians issue when they misbehave. We found this hotel to be very clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was ample with both hot and cold foods available. We would definitely consider staying there again.

"good choice"
We stayed in the Holiday Inn Express to be close to a sports tournament at Split Rock. Very clean, very new--everything seemed to be in very good shape. Good breakfast. All around, a great choice--would definitely stay there again.

Excellent place. Food Great.
This was an extremely fine hotel. The staff was great, the breakfast was much better than most and the pool was inviting. We were extremely pleased with our visit and plan to come back here when we visit the Poconos again in the Spring and Fall of 2012.

"Newer hotel with terrible customer service"
This Holiday Inn is located along I-80 and only serves as a over night stop as people pass through the area. It is only a few years old, so it is generally comfortable and modern, but the hotel staff was incredibly rude. We called ahead on the day of arrival to see if we could check in early. The concierge said "we will see what we can do but have no […] guarantees" and I asked "well can you see if the previous guest had checked out?" She didn't want too but after I asked the question a couple of different times she looked it up and it was available for early check in! Once we got there the staff still were not very friendly and not helpful with questions. Also, the chair in the room had not been vacuumed in several stays as there were crumbs all over it! My friends and I stayed here for a weekend while we were whitewater rafting just down the road. This hotel was perfect. Only 15 minutes from the whitewater HQ. The rooms were spacious and clean. I got the suite for 6 of us. 4 children and 2 adults. kids where playing a game in the room, and laughing, having fun. This was not even 10pm on a iday night. A new" hotel" that is a gem in every way but two! The hotel is a stone's throw from the PA Turnpike and unless you had known and requested a room on the other side of the building you are doomed to hear 18 wheelers roar by all day and night. Holiday Inn Express Hotels are so great! They are just what you'd expect - clean rooms, friendly/helpful staff, nice building and free breakfast! We love staying there with our 2 kids.
