Palazzo Cardinal Cesi - Rzym

When we booked, we didn't realise the exact location of the hotel. Our taxi pulled up outside and we looked in amazement at the fact St Peter's Piazza was a stone's throw away, and all the other sights within easy walking distance. The hotel was set away from the street and the noise, with a lovely bar area serving not typical overpriced drinks and […] snacks. The room was quite big for a typical Roman hotel room, with all the necessary amenities. The room and bathroom were clean, and cleaned perfectly everyday. I stayed in a single room for 1 night due to a flight out of Rome the next day on business. All I was interested in was seeing the Vatican, for which the location was perfect. Pros: well-marked hotel on a major road, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Clean, large room (by European standards) and above average breakfast. Wifi at no cost. Cons: oddly […] small shower. I had trouble and I am a tiny person. Also, although the staff was otherwise very friendly, I must have asked the wrong person for a late check-out. I wanted an extra hour (checkout is normally 11am) and was told the night before that I could not be guaranteed the extra time, would have to check in the morning, and furthermore would be charged 25 Euro for the extra hour. What's the point when my goal was to sleep in? Finally, I would NOT recommend taking the metro from the train station to the hotel with luggage. The walk is do-able but only if you are traveling light. At any rate, I would still recommend the hotel, but if any of these points cause you concern, please think twice. Przeczytaj więcej

The staff was warm and so helpful. All their recommendations were superb. Their breakfast was excellent and they provided whatever we requested. The street scene was extremely busy but once inside the Hotel's green doors, it was so quiet and serene. The courtyard is lovely. One of our favorite stays in Roma! We were able to avoid lines because we were […] so close to the Vatican. WE will visit again whenever we get to Roma. Everyone at the desk was fluent in both English and Italian ... very helpful. The Palazzo Cardinal Cesi was ideally situated for the Vatican and siteseeing in Rome, the hop on open top tour bus was located just opposite the hotel so made life easy for our short visit to Rome. The hotel was a peaceful haven from the hustle bustle of the city and staff very obliging (they contacted the taxi transfer company to confirm details for […] me). Dining facilities are limited as only breakfast buffet and snacks and drinks in the afternoon and evening are available but there are plenty of places to dine outside the hotel. Our room was rather small but we were very pleased with the comfort and service provided. Overall we thought it an excellent place to stay and would recommend this hotel to friends. This hotel is close to the Citta del Vaticano, and easy to find. When you get there late, the main entrance would be closed. You should ring the bell by the door to open it. Staff there was very kind and the service was also good. One thing is you cannot have any wifi at the hotel.
