Cosy motel,stuff extremely friendly,comfortable location

The hotel parking lot has very steep and turning driveway not possible to enter by any trailer. They have aux parking a block away, what should be included in the info. I had to stop in no stopping zone to get the information.

We were just staying overnight to catch an early flight out of SeaTac. It was convenient. Cleaner than I expected for the price. The hotel is on a busy street near the airport so I was worried about noise, but it wasn't an issue. We were satisfied. I wouldn't reccomend it if you are staying longer than a couple of nights or want any ammenities.

This is a very basic hotel on the main road near Sea-Tac airport. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and fresh-smelling, and it was surprisingly quiet. There are NO amenities here - our room had a microwave but no fridge or coffee maker, and hairdryers and irons must be requested from the front desk. Also, the wifi only worked […] intermittently. Oh, and don't count on the 'continental breakfast'! It was a pot of coffee, powdered whitener, and packaged danishes. In spite of its plainness, I would stay here again because of its convenience and friendliness - and, of course, the price. It's worth noting that this hotel offers parking and shuttle service to the airport. We didn't know this when we booked, and arranged these services elsewhere. If we go again, I'll leave my car at the hotel and let them drive me! Also worthy of note - The Thai restaurant next door to the hotel is AMAZING! Friendly staff. For the price the room was OK. Bed was too hard, had about three hours sleep. :( You get what you pay for.

It's a convenient stay if you're going to be in Tacoma or SeaTac, but a bit far from Seattle if that's your destination. The rooms are clean, no bed bugs, pretty basic but for the price you're paying it's a good deal. Parking fills up and can be an issue.

The hotel fit the price: cheap. Staff is friendly, but in the room, bedside lamb didn't work, TV remote didn't work. Did not tried other amenties,like Internet, just a short stay for connecting flight, that is OK.

At 1:00a.m. there were people outside the room yelling. They charge you for the shuttle service. The room smelled like stinky feet. The phone did not work in the room.

I had a great experience staying at sea-tac valu-inn hotel on my business trip to Seattle. It's located only 10 minutes from the sea tac airport with public transportation stop right in front of the hotel every 15 minutes to the airport and to downtown Seattle. The hotel was clean and without smell; very simple room. The bed echoed my voice when I talked close to the mattress and I got bit up by some bug. The hotel is close to a large road and I was kept up by road noise. However, this hotel had the best breakfast of any cheap hotel I've stayed at. Its one of the less expensive motels in the area and for that price the service and quality are fine. They provide and a microwave and a mini-fridge which could come in handy if you are looking to stay for more than one night. However, this area is kind of shady. Picked this hotel simply because of budget constraints. Will never do it again. The condition of the room was below sub par. The carpet was very worn and hadn't been steam cleaned in so long you could feel a film of grime on it. There were patch jobs on the ceiling where it had cracked that were not bothered to be sanded or painted. There dried splatters […] on the walls, particularly in the bathroom that had not been cleaned.The furniture was all worn and scratched. The bed was comfortable enough if you don't mind a soft mattress, but I was bitten many times by some sort of bug during the stay. The bathroom was too small to change in. The towels were thin even for hotel towels and a number of them were dingy in color. The water pressure was null. The parking was absolutely horrendous. The parking lot is in the shape of a V where the only way to get in and out with any sort of ease is to get a spot at very front. Spaces though were limited, even in the back and there was no where even in the vicinity to park and walk to the hotel. The staff were friendly at least, though not entirely helpful. I was pleasantly surprised with my room. For the price I paid I think it was a good deal. My room was clean and well maintained. I was close to the airport and a fast route bus stop right outside the motel. Overall I was happy with my stay. A few cons: The traffic noise from International Blvd. was very loud. But to me it was a fair trade off for being […] so close to the bus lines and airport. For some reason, every day I stayed there my room card key would stop working in the afternoon. I would have to go down to the office for them to rescan it. Also, if you driving or renting a car you probably will not want to park a big SUV here. This location was not as close to the area I needed as I would have liked so it cost me extra money in land transportation. The "courtesy" shuttle was not free as courtesy shuttles have always been everywhere else I I have stayed in the Sea-Tac airport area of Seattle. The city bus is a little cheaper but is more confusing. The restaurant next door […] they advertise is a Thai restaurant. Nice if you want Thai three meals a day. The only other place maybe close to walking distance is a McDonalds. It seems like a good place for someone who has a rental car or is just staying the night and doesn't mind paying for the "courtesy" shuttle. It was cold in Seattle as it is December but the first room I was placed in the heater didn't work and the sign said to use the portable heater which I couldn't find. It is dangerous to have space heaters in hotels anyway as there is usualy only one exit in case of fire. I would not stay here again. This place was great! We needed a place to stay for two nights, and this fit the bill perfectly. They had super friendly staff, free wi-fi, and the room was super comfortable. OK room with micro & fridge. Motel on main drag & bus stop nearby. Lots of stores if u have a car. Pkg lot safe along with area. Bed mattress sagged but ok if u like soft mattress. Great front desk people during my visit of 2 days.

For those on a budget this hotel gets you through the night. We got to the airport late, needed to get a quick bite to eat and lay down for the night somewhere that didn't break the bank. This hotel satisfied that need. No frills but clean and reasonably comfortable.

Hotel was fine fine for the price. Nothing fancy, but room was clean and in decent condition. One bed was very noisy and time you moved on it. The other bed was fine. Neighborhood was a little iffy though.

Having become accustomed to more expensive hotels, this was a different experience. I expected the hotel room as it was. It wasn't dirty - and they provided a microwave and refridgerator. The staff was nice also. I am sure prostitution was happening in the parking lot and there seemed to be some pretty tough customers down stairs. if safety is an issue […] or you have PTSD, don't book here. There was an angry man in the lobby who came in upset twice and I was told he was kicked out for dealing drugs (a person who paid by the week). The clerk was very nice and helpful she went above and beyond to give us directions to all the places we wanted to see.

The person at the desk when we checked in was exceptionally helpful in trying to get the Internet to work; the person there the second day acted like it was a big inconvenience. When you get a hotel because it specifically states that there is Internet in the room, you should get it with no hassle over passwords or access. I needed it for work deadlines, […] not to play games, and the difficulty of access created enough distress to make me not want to stay there again. What made me maddest about this motel is that they advertise free WiFi, but then wanted to charge me for it. When told they could not do that, they insisted they could. There are two hundred hotels near SeaTac, don't choose this one.

For 2 of 3 nights of stay there was no power in room and hotel was completely booked and no compensation was offered by management proactively. Hotel in no way guarantees a parking spot for even first car and no way of enforcing to make sure all parking spot aren't used by single guest, another individual and forced me to part in adjacent business […] parking lot. My friends and I stayed at the Valu Inn and I was surprised about how clean it was for a less expensive place to stay. The beds weren't super comfy but got by. The front desk associate was very nice and accomodating. Overall I was really happy with our stay.

I've stayed at the Valu Inn multiple times over the last few years but will probably start looking for a new hotel to stay at in the Seattle area due to the fact that they now charge for wifi. The free wifi they previously had was one of the main incentives that prompted me to stay here.

This hotel's advertisement on Hotels.com is not at all representative of what you will get and be charged. Also, calling them directly doesn't do any good either because they don't represent the truth on the phone either. There is NO free shuttle...or free internet/wi-fi. The public transit is out front and they charge an extra fee to pick you up at […] the airport. The rooms are barren, dirty, and unsafe in my opinion. They say that "hotels.com and the other places like that misrepresent the hotel" but I called and got the same information that is on this site. The lights flickered, the TV went on and off arbitrarily and the chairs at the table were so wobbly that I was afraid to sit on them. The "continental breakfast" was literally instant coffee, a banana, and a very small danish (individually wrapped which was good). The only positive thing I can think of about this place was one desk clerk, who was a very nice woman, and the showers were strong and hot--although you had to be under 5' to get your head wet. The hotel is right on the street which is OK, but there was no safety latch on the door and the parking lot is a one way in, same way out very small, and difficult to turn around in. The night staff were very helpful and friendly. The wifi was non-existant and they couldnt correct that part, so if you are staying for work and need to access the internet, I wouldnt recomend them. Day staff should eat when talking with customers. Other than that. I'd stay again as we were down there for the Jays/Mariners game

The poor front desk girl at night was very busy when I checked in at 11:30 at night. But she was calm, and was very courteous to me when she was able to help me. We needed a room that was convenient to both Seattle and Emerald Downs. This was pretty close to both, but was not worth the money we paid. The hotel was very run down looking, the beds were hard as rocks, and when they say complimentary breakfast, they really shoud've said a banana and cinnamon rolls you buy in bulk from Costco.

it was cheap, clean. we just needed a place to sleep and that is what it was. a little bit noisy but not too bad, we were able to sleep. bring your own pillow if you want more than a pancake. no hairdryer or clock. had to turn on the tv to see what time it was. water for shower was nice and hot. staff was helpful with directions.

False ad --- we were charged for internet use despite their ad saying Complimentary Internet Service. What was more frustrating was the staff's rude response that our complaint should be addressed by hotels.com where we made the online reservation. What a jerk! BTW, their complimentary breakfast is a lousy coffee.

I would only recommend this hotel if travelers need a place to stay that is very close to the airport. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was clean, but it was difficult to get to sleep at night since the busy highway was right next to the hotel and was noisy until way past midnight. Also, the hotel DOES charge a fee for the airport shuttle […] service, which is NOT noted in the description. It is nominal-$5.50 round trip, but hotels.com needs to note this up front.
