The Don Carlos Leisure Resort and Spa hotel is located near Marbella, Spain, and has its own beach club. The hotel is by the Mediterranean Sea on the Costa del Sol's 'Golf Mile', seven kilometres from Marbella, and 14 kilometres from Puerto Banus harbour.
Hotel Features.
Surrounded by subtropical gardens leading to Nikki Beach's golden sands, the Don Carlos Leisure Resort and Spa hotel occupies a high-rise tower with far-reaching hill views.
Five onsite restaurants and bars with sea, garden or pool views include Los Naranjos, serving European dishes with a twist. Breakfast buffets are provided in the marble-floored Bahia restaurant. Light meals are on the menu at the Gaudi-inspired poolside Sol y Sombra restaurant.
The resort's conference centre offers more than 2,000 square metres of meeting space with wireless Internet access.
The gardens, with subtropical plants, bridges and waterfalls, lead to the Don Carlos Beach Club (open Easter to October), and Marco Tennis Academy. The beach club has a freeform pool with waterfall, kids' pool, and water sports. The tennis academy with clubhouse includes 10 courts, two paddle courts and classes. Steam baths and hydro-massage are available at the fitness centre. The many nearby golf courses include Santa Maria Golf and Country Club, where the Don Carlos Beach and Golf Resort's guests enjoy discounted rates. Child care (surcharge), complimentary onsite parking, and high-speed Internet access in public areas are available (surcharge).

The Don Carlos Leisure Resort and Spa's 241 air-conditioned guestrooms offer sea and mountain views. All rooms have minibars, wireless Internet access (surcharge), satellite television and safes. Bathrooms have baths, bathrobes, slippers and complimentary Molton Brown toiletries.

Na stare maisto niedaleko, właściwie tuż tuż, nad morze 10 minut, do Corte Inglesias dosc blisko, tuż za nim dworzec kolejowy. Pokoje schludne i dobrze wyposażone, zasługują na 3,5,gwiazdki, bufet śniadaniowy dośc ubogi. Parking na sąsiednich ulicach.

Bahia - A buffet breakfast and occasional dinner (surcharge) are served in this restaurant overlooking the gardens and the sea. The restaurant is decorated in Bisazza tile columns, representing a contemporary and creative version of a local theme, with rich marble floors and white ceilings.
Los Naranjos - Creative European cuisine is served in a light-filled room with wide garden and sea views.
Bar La Terrace - This two-level bar has a terrace overlooking the gardens and live piano music every evening. The room has hardwood floors, velvet chairs, and a purple-and-cream color scheme.
Sol y Sombra - Snacks and drinks are served at this poolside bar. The walls have a Gaudi-style mosaic design. Guests can dine 'al fresco' in the summer months.
Beach Club Restaurant - Located by the pool and sea, this restaurant serves a buffet lunch.
The Beach Club offers a large, freeform pool with a 10-foot waterfall and an activity desk where guests can hire watersports equipment, such as banana boats, jet skis, personal watercraft, and sailboats.
The Marco Tennis Academy offers a garden setting and 10 courts, including nine clay. Lessons are available for all levels of expertise, and the academy often organizes tournaments. The resort offers easy access to a dozen golf courses, including the Santa Maria Golf and Country Club. Many courses provide discounts to guests.

Don't normally stay in 5-star hotels but decided to splurge...very disappointed in room. It was clean and had normal amenities, but couldn't get the room to cool down sufficiently, broken grab bar in bath, etc. Food is very basic with exorbitant prices. The nicest thing about the hotel were the pools and grounds, and they were VERY nice. The beach area […] is small and crowded, and getting into water difficult..cold and very rocky. Fantastic, friendly staff. Best location in Marbella, super beach and next door to Nikki Beach. Didn't try to restaurants, but overall a great experience

Hotellet og området var helt glimrende. Derimot hotellrestuaranten bør bare brukes som frokost-sted - ikke til middag. Aldri opplevd dårligere service noen gang. For første gang i mitt liv måtte jeg gi null i tips.

Stort og interiør messig bra hotell med flere bassenger, stor hage, flere restauranter, trenings muligheter (fotball og tennis bane, Yoga, treningsrom) og beliggenhet med basseng rett på stranden med egen beach klubb. Meget bra service på solsengene ved strand og i beach klubb. Rolig og hyggelig atmosfære med god frokost (noe dyr). Store og gode rom […] med hyppig skifte av håndklær og god rengjøring. Restauranten på hoteller (Thai rest) ligger flott til i hagen med nydelig atmosfære, men service her var elendig, men maten var god. O hotel é belíssimo, acomodação excelente, internet funciona ok, só que está a uns 15 km de distância fica todo o movimento de bares, restaurantes, lojas. e shopping.Para quem quer curtir praia e top less, o hotel é nota 10, muito embora o serviço de restaurante deixe bastante a desejar. Os funcionários são atenciosos, mas tudo é demorado no bar e no […] jantar então piorou. Talvez até seja excesso de trabalho pois o mesmo funcionário que serve o café da manhã também serve o jantar. I felt so good beeing at this hotel..A bit long way to Puerto or Marbella..But you have the Nikki Beach just beside..And for only 2 days..perfect...You can easily order a taxi..

Innen sehr modernes Hotel mit großem Garten. ...nur von aussen sieht der Hotelkomplex wie von einem osteuropäischen Archtikten von 1970 aus, aber innen ist alles sehr zeitgemäß, geschmackvoll ausgestattet.
