My wife and i were on our honeymoon and our suite was very nice and cozy, but the one down fall was that our gift that was given by my parents was set up for us when we got there, the hotel staff were suppose to have everything in the room before we got there, they brought it up when we were just getting settled in, but other then that we would reccomend […] this place to everyone we know. we loved the view from our patio and the staff were very helpful. we will be going again here soon but with the rest of our family. thanks for a wonderful time in Canmore, Alberta Przeczytaj więcej

"The Lodges at Canmore - ALWAYS AMAZING"
This was my second stay at the Lodges and I have yet to be disappointed. When I arrived, I was upgraded to a 2 bdrm instead of a 1. I think for the low cost of these rooms, and the amazing location, the Lodges are one of the best places I've ever stayed! Stayed many times and always love it! Best part is the outdoor heated pool and spa. Had a 2 bdrm suite and it was fab for all of us...the rate was excellent.

We tried to check in at !pm, but were told it was not ready , come back-at 4pm. After a lovely walk around Camore we arrived back at 415pm', once again was informed the room was not ready, the young man at the check in desk was most apologetic, he tried house keeping 3 times each time was told no go.He offered us a bottle of wine, finally it became […] available about 445pm, it seems to me the maid had not bothered to go and see if the room had been cleaned. The only bad thing about the room was the carpet had a number of stains , everything else was satisfactory.On our previous visit to Camore we stayed at the Blackstone , it was much better, and would stay their on my next visit if possable. The hotel staff was very friendly, rooms were nice, convenient location, hot tubs and pool well maintained:) only inconvenience we had was house keeping; they only clean ur room every 4-5days would be nice every 1-2days:)
"Front Desk Service awful"
We had a late checkin and had to run around 3 buildings before we could find where our key worked. the front desk person did not have a clue how to program keys, and took 2 hours to figure it out. Even then, the security guard had to help him. In the interim he was not willing to leave to front desk, and made us run back and forth to check whether the […] keys worked. "The Lodges at Canmore- pleasant but ...."
While the stay here was pleasant enough there were a few hiccups. The access card they gave me for the underground parking didn't work so I went back and got them to reprogram it. I had booked a 1 bdrm loft and when I arrived was informed they had none left so they upgraded me to a 2 bdrm on main floor. I wanted the loft so we wouldn't hear everyone […] stomping around in the am as my wife likes to sleep in. It was nice to have all the kitchen facilities but the fridge sounded like an air conditioner when it kicked in. The units when booked thru hotels.com is expedia and you are actually in the fractional owners units not the motels. We went to watch a dvd the last night and it wouldn't play the disc. We ended up watching it on my laptop. When I went to phone down to the front desk the phones didn't work. Pulled out the couch and there was no phone jack there, just the wires hanging out the wall. I tried to contact the front desk with my cell, 9:30 pm,left a message, no return call. Tried contacting the company that looked after the fractionals but they only answer the phone between 8-5, not much help. She finally returned my call 12:30 the next day. While the bed was comfortable enough it was awful creaky, everytime you moved creeeeak....the rooms were clean but the hallways had stains on the carpet etc and should be replaced. Przeczytaj więcej

"Great Stay"
It was a great place to stay . Beautiful view of the 3 sisters mountain range, quiet and clean, the hallways a little chilly and had to go back and get the key cards they were not set up properly Other than those minor things awesome place to stay
"Good for a cheap weekend getaway"
This hotel served it's purpose. We waanted to get away and go skiing without it breaking the bank. We stayed at lodges at Canmore for 2 nights with our 2 young children and my parents in the 2 bedroom loft room. The suite was huge with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The room was clean with the exception of the walls which were filthy, […] but overall we were happy. The only downfall was the loft room was so hot we could not sleep at night up there. We had the heat turned off and windows open but still could not cool it off to comfortable sleeping conditions. Overall a great stay but suggest not staying in the loft suite as the room is too hot!! This condo was fabulous. We had a 2 bedroom unit and we were very happy with the amount of space that we had. The kitchen was well equiped.

We were assigned a two bedroom suite in Phase 1, and a two bedroom suite in Phase 2. Both suites were the same price. Phase 1 is five years old, Phase 2 is one year old. In Phase 1 carpets were dirty and stained, the hallways were dark with marks on the walls. The suite in Phase 1 had a strong cooking smell in the suite. "Vacation property rather than hotel"
I had thought that this was a full service establishment, but it provides a vacation base. The towels are changed and garbage taken out (mostly), but no bed making or other services. But the space was generous. And the quality of the furniture and fitting very good.
This hotel is really a converted condo complex, and does not have the amenities usually associated with a hotel. The pool was OK, the hot tub was not very well maintained. The front desk staff was friendly, but not as helpful in suggesting local restaurants, etc. as you might expect from a hotel. Every thing was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that soured our stay was that there was no AC and it was really hot on the upper level. I would recommend this only on cooler days.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the unit - two bedrooms and two bathrooms, kitchen, living room and small balcony. Very clean and adequately set up for some food preparation. Very comfortable and spacious for the cost. There was a noisy group of guests outside and in the hallways on the Saturday night, but Sunday was quiet and very pleasant. "The best , as good as at home stay"
The rooms were so nice ,clean and new.Bedding was excellent.The only thing frustrating was the entrance cards do not work properly. That aspect must be improved upon.It is disappionting to run to the office to get them recharged.The value for the rate was very good.

The place and especially the staff were absolutely fantastic! Only problem is that their secure internet access does not work with Apple computers.. why - no idea. Tried everything but nothing worked and many other previous guests had the same issue.
