"The Long Bay Beach Resort"
Good restaurant and facilities. Enjoyed the pool, view and the beach.
"Tired"
This hotel seemed a little tired. Breakfast in the restaurant was slow and you did not get what you ordered which was a little frustrating. Hotel was a little tired but the beds are good and rooms clean.

"Good thing the beach is pretty"
Nice hotel, clearly the nicest in Long Bay and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if I wanted to be in Long Bay or the surrounding areas. The only problem is that it is the ONLY thing within walking distance...no other beaches, no other restaurants....nothing. But, the beach is ridiculously gorgeous and our room was literally on the beach. It […] is a loud beach though, so if you are one who likes the sound of waves crashing, this ones for you. Restaurant was empty, but the food was quite tasty. If you are looking to relax and do nothing in a beautiful environment, this is your place. "Long Bay Tortola BVI"
The hotel was clean the staff was friendly. Its hard to complain about such a beautiful beach. The bugs, hard beds and the 10.00 service fee that they added a day was my only complaints.
"Great Resort"
I took my wife here for her Birthday weekend, along with our 8 month year old daughter. Everything was great. The staff, the food and the restaurant, and they even upgraded us to a suite at the beach. You can't ask for more. I'm definitely going back in the future.

It would be hard to find a more beautiful beach or scenic setting for a resort. The resort staff members are very pleasant and accomodating.

Long Bay Beach Resort is located in a beautiful spot. Accommodations were very comfortable. We were upgraded to a room on the beach with a lovely view. "Beautiful Location"
The grounds of the hotel were massive and it made it feel like we were in more than just a hotel. Lots of chaises on the beach, enjoyed the swim up bar at the pool, restaurant meals were delicious. We had a fabulous time. We were on holidays with 3 other couples after sailing for a week so it was nice to 'spread out'. Highly recommend it.
"Long Bay Beach - hotel good, restaurants not"
The Long Bay Beach Resort was the nicest place we saw on Tortolla. The rooms were large and the pools clean and well maintained. The desk staff were helpful and courteous. The 1748 restaurant had terrible service and mediocre food. Service in the Caribbean is know to be on 'Island time' but service in the 1748 was ridiculously slow. After being seated […] for 10 minutes we got up and got our own menus and walked to the bar ourselves to get out own drinks. 20 minutes after that we saw a server. One meal we were told we could not have pizza because the pizza oven was broken, yet one of the managers was served pizza at a table behind us. The bartender at the pool bar told us when we ordered Pina Coladas that 'I ain't making any of those now". Overall the stay was nice if you left the resort to eat elsewhere. Przeczytaj więcej

"Great for relaxing"
Welcome staff excellent and room prepared before check-in time. However, disappointed that jacuzzi wasn't working. Also felt bathroom not arranged well as area for toilet is very limited. Was surprised no rooms available with two double beds rather than twin beds only, or king.

Very pretty hotel, situated at what is arguably the best beach on the island. Rooms are wonderful. The hotel is set up like a village and we had a beautiful view of the the sea and the next island from our two-storied room on the hillside. Just the shower area itself seemed bigger than the entire bathroom in most hotels. Super comfortable bed. The only […] bad thing were some mosquitos that somehow kept getting into the room. All in all, a very nice hotel. The whole island seems to cater to an older, wealthier (everything on the island is expensive, beware) clientele, so don't expect a mega resort, with discos, tennis courts and golf courses and so on. Long Bay has a beautiful location close to surfing and secluded beaches. Overall it needs to be updated and customer service orientated.

too much coral in water to enjoy waves or swimming; need to post where to swim to avoid coral in water

"Hotel good, restaurant bad"
We had a beachfront room that was nice enough. The property will need refreshing in a year or two. Little things like stained bathroom tiles and peeling paint on steps were noticed. The beach is pretty to look at, but there is not much of it. About 10 ft of sand is available to put your chair on, then there is a foot and a half dropoff to the surf. […] This part of Tortola has rougher surf and is not swimmer friendly, however, Smuggler's Cove is good and is nearby. The main complaint is in regards to Palm Terrace restaurant. We ate dinner with a prix fixe menu. My meal was average and my wife's was below average. Service was the same. Staff was there to bring food and nothing else. "Awesome."
One of the most beautiful places we have ever been. Rooms were big with amazing views of the Caribbean. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

"nice place"
Nice beach location - make sure to walk down the beach to Nature Boy's shack for drinks. Tortola is a beautiful island and this is well-situated for visits to Bomba Shack. Recommend the beach-front villas!
"Outstanding resort"
This is a great place on a beautiful beach. The units are cofortable, the villas are outstanding. The food is adequate not great. Despite that, we'd love to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were restaurants both on site and nearby off site. The people and service were great, and the beach and view of the ocean were amazing!

"Hôtel Long bay beach - Iles vierges britaniques"
Nous avons été très satisfait de l'hôtel : - très bon accueil avec puch et serviettes rafraichissantes à l'arrivée - Les chambres sont spacieuses propres et confortables,balcon avec vue imprenable sur la mer - très belle plage où on peu faire du snorkeling - le restaurant de l'hôtel se trouve au bord de la plage (restauration à la carte) est très bien […] et les prix sont identiques aux restaus des environs - il y a une piscine avec bar-snack + petit bassin d'eau chaude pour se relaxer Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour (après avoir loué 1 semainde de catamaran avec la compagnie The Moorings (merveilleux) Je vous souhaite de bonnes vacances Przeczytaj więcej
"Trevlig beachresort med det mesta"
Varierande typ av boende men till hög standard, bra service, fin poolarea, tennisbana och stor strand. Saknade dock hotellstolar samt beachaktiviteter. Endast en restaurang och en bit ifrån andra saker att göra eller titta på drar ner lite, men annars en mycket bvra och trevlig beachresort.

L'hotel est tres bien situer, la plage supere. Sauf que la piscine ne fonctionnait pas, ainsi que le restaurent . sans que cela ne nous soit dit avent l'enregistrement. sinon l'acceuile parfait tout le staff est tres gentil.
