It was great except we had some crying kids on both sides of us and after going down tho front desk tho let them know they acted as though they did not care. Our AC did not work very well for a couple of nights we woke up sweating

The rate was cheap. That is the only reason to stay at Diamond Jack's. Room needed repairs,valet was slow, a/c didn't work, food in buffet was tasteless. Room was nice. Liked the spaciousness of the room with the jacuzzi tub.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. It also has a 24hr dinner which was nice.

It was our anniversary--the employees-especially the one lady that checked us in was rude and unfriendly!! The ONLY employee that we encountered during our stay that was friendly was the waitress on the casino(she was also the only one that wished us a happy anniversary)!This was our first and probably last stay there. OK, only thing is the amount of noise, you can hear everything going on in surrounding rooms.

The outside of the Casino looks okay, but whenever I went to check-in the tile by the service desk looks extremely dirty. The elevators smelled clean and fresh so I said maybe the rooms would be nice as well. Wrong on my part. We open the door and immediately go into the bathroom that had a jacuzzi tub and it was disgusting. It looked as if the room […] hadn't been cleaned in a while. The shower had mold in it and the door frame had some type of dirt and grime. Around the toliet was disgusting as well. Looked as if someone urinated and room service never cleaned it up. The room was totally outdated. I was expecting modern upgrades but only got downgrades. We called the front desk and told them about the issues and they sent someone from housekeeping. He tried to clean the bathroom but the results still were unsatisfactory. The guy who tried to clean the bathroom was very unprofessional. His cell phone was ringing continuously and he was talking with his baby while he was trying to clean. I called hotels.com and told them the issue about the room and that me and my friend was going to be staying for 3 nights and we got booked into the Hilton for $60 more and I was very impressed. Carpet in hallways is stained. Hallway has a musty odor. Mattress was hard. The lobby of the hotel appears to be remodeled but the rooms were over looked.

The room was okay, but the shower in the bathroom wasn't clean. The mold and mildew were very visible. The jetted tub appeared to be clean.

Room is spacious and has a hot tub in it. The casino is okay, but there are several other close by and cheap taxi fare. I would recommend this hotel to friends and I have.

The check in took way too long. Only two people to do check-ins on a Friday afternoon.

the toilet in the bathroom did not work properly. there wasn't a refrigerator in the room and the air conditioner did not cool the room effectively.

We were in Shreveport for a concert at Diamond Jacks so we stayed at the Hotel. This was our first trip to Diamond Jacks. The Hotel room was great. We had a hot tub in our room. The hotel seemed nice but, I room was a little beat up. Needs some repairs. Leaky faucet..etc..

there was a roach froze in the ice from the ice maker which we have had several drinks out of the bucket before we realized it was in there

I was somewhat disappointed with this stay. The hotel seemed "dated" in general to me...but that wasn't the worst. Our room wasn't cool upon arrival. We lowered the thermostat & thought we would go enjoy a cocktail by the pool/courtyard. I had noticed that the website indicated that the pool/poolside bar was seasonal so we purchased our own cocktail […] to go to the courtyard. We found the entire courtyard locked down. There were no cushions in loungers & the pool water was disgustingly green so we went back to the room. The room was still warm. On our way out for the evening we reported the air conditioner failure to the front desk. We got back to the room later that night to find the air was still not working. We set the air on 50 to try to make it as comfortable as possible. As we started getting ready for bed we found some of our pillows on the floor in the corner hiddenby the TV stand. I'll just jump right into it. The green carpet is beyond gross and smelly. This hotel was formerly Isle of Capri and it still has the same parot curtains that smells like a bad version of gym socks. I really do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Again, the smell from the old carpet is just beyond description. I had my sheets changed twice; the tub […] is literally right next to the bed (give ir take 2 feet); the ceiling had the oldest popcorn texture that I've ever seen. Just really bad. While I was very pleased with the room over all, the first impression as you walk in is crapy, the lobby coming from the parking area feels dingy and smokey, and as I was checking in I was thinking I wouldn't stay here again. Wasn't sure I wanted to stay here because of mixed reviews; but got a good price rate. My room was very nice. It might not have had the very newest decor but it was clean. The queen bed was really comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was just great. It was deep and wide and had plenty of hot water and never went cold. We stayed for a total of 3 nights at this hotel the first night we were called at 5:15 am to let us know that there was a power outage and that to check at the front desk for a free lunch or dinner breakfast buffet...that was great but due to sleeping we didnt even realize there was a an outage...and to be called that early in the morning was uttterly […] rediculous! Second night they had put i dont know how many people in the adjoining room beside us evidently the adaults went to gamble and the kids left in the room who proceeded to kick the adjoining room numerous times, screaming, just out of control took hotel security 2 hours to shut them up...when called down to speak to manager of the front desk we were offered to move to another room...mind you this was our second night of stay...and the others their first...who's inconvenienced here...never AGAIN! We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and cooperative with our needs. Had a great time. Close to the boardwalk and bass pro shop. Room was clean and love the jacuzzi tub! Will definitely go back!

I have travled the world and as a result I have stayed in several hotels over the years. This by far was the worst room that I have experienced. Upon stepping off the elevator to proceed to our room there were sheets in the middle of the floor. When we made it to our door we were greeted by the trash the cleaning crew had swept together and left at […] the door. The adjoining door for our rooms were filthy and dusty I am not sure why they have the cleaning ladies come into the rooms as the ceiling fan appeared to have not been cleaned since the building was established. Upon arriving at hotel check in was slow I was already prebooked still had to wait. after getting in room we left for broadwalk we did not notice the room was not cool. Beds were soft, rooms were spacious, kids loved the jacuzzi, loved the convienience of casino downstairs, will be recommending this hotel to my friends.

SINCE I WAS TO BE THERE A FEW DAYS FOR MEDICAL REASONS, HAVING THE JACUZZI IN THE ROOM WAS VERY RELAXING, PLUS HAVING RESTAURANTS ON SITE WAS A PLUS, BY NOT HAVING TO DRIVE ANYWHERE TIL MY SAID APPOINTMENTS PER EACH DAY.

The hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only problem I had was the television did not work and I had to call the service three times before someone finally came and changed the plugs about an hour later.

I've stayed in numerous hotels and casinos and consider myself pretty easy going and flexible but I just had to write a review (my very first) after my recent stay at Diamond Jacks Casino. Yes the decor could be updated and the check-in process a little faster (took us 20 mins) but when there is no hot water for 2 days and all the front desk can say […] is "we are working on it", that is unacceptable. On top of that, the plumbing was extremely loud. You could hear every toilet flush and (cold) shower running from the neighboring rooms. One other observation is that there seemed to be cleaning crews in the hallway throughout the entire day with numerous piles of dirty towels/sheets up and down the hallway. First room we had was fine...out dated but clean. When we went down for dinner the Jacuzzi room above us started to leak and when we returned the water was running through the ceiling lights and the roof plaster was caving in. I asked for another room which they did bring up a key right away. The 2nd room was beyond dirty. The white grout was gray. […] The shower head was rusted and the shower floor was stained and filthy. When we complained they said they didn't have another room and at this point I didn't want to move a 3rd time anyway. They advertise 3 restaurants but only the buffet is open. The food was OK very cafeteria style but they servers the same things both nights we were there. The casino was packed and we had to wait for slot machines and forget the free drinks. Great view and room was clean, etc. Could smell smoke during the night.

The reservations got screwed up had to stay one night in a smoking room when I reserved a non smoking room then the AC did not work had to switch room the next day but it was a non smoking and nice room.

I was not satisfied with this hotel at all. There was no hot water for a shower. This is unacceptable as much money as this place rakes in a day. I will not stay here again. There was grunge around the shower as well. I understand its a busy place but they make the money to do the upkeep. I stayed there from 25 Feb to 26Feb 2012

The diamondjack was my first casino to ever stay in and me and my wife very much enjoyed ourselves but the only thing that we didn't like is that when we checked in , the shower was all dirty and clogged up and filled with mud but other then that it was nice.

Had a non-smoking room booked but all they had was smoking. Casino is small and very smokey. We went to the Horseshoe for dinner and casino. Much nicer and classier place.

I will not go back to this hotel. The people were not very friendly, they entered my name in the computer wrong and had trouble finding my confirmation number (cause even with the number that I gave them they could not find it, why give me a number?)the hotel was not very clean and the room needed repairs and could have been alot cleaner. There was […] tape coming off of the sheet rock, cigerette burns all over the place and the floors were nasty in the corners of the bathroom and the tops of the tables.
