Nice quiet well furnished room. Had a great time.

This lodge was awesome! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and had plenty of room for 6 of us. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to the Gondola that takes you into Telluride but they also provided free shuttle service to the Gondola in case you don't feel like walking. This was our first trip to telluride and The Mountain Lodge at Telluride exceeded our expectations. the hotel was perfect for our needs. From the location in the mountain, the convience of the ski in/out, the on sight ski rental, the hot tub and swimming pool, the views, and the reasonable priced restaurant with large portions and great quality food […] provided. i can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay there. i specifically want to mention raul, the front desk supervisor. he was very professional, patient, kind and informative when i called with questions before we booked our room. his great customer service skills were apparent throughout our entire stay. all the employees were happy to help with all of our needs. we felt like we were at home away from home. Our room was 500 feet from the slopes for ski in-ski out. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Able to take the gondola down to Moutain Village and the town of Telluride is about a 4 block walk. Would go back to this hotel in a heart beat!

We had a great experience. The room was very small, but for the price, who cares! The view from the room was spectacular, as was the view from the pool/hot tub. Conveniently located near the gondola. Parking is a pain, but I think that is probably true of everywhere in the Mountain Village. The bartender/waiter at the restaurant was really cool.

Make sure you ask to look at room first. The room was so small you could't even fit a chair or small table. Coffee pot located under bathroom sink and no place to set it if you wanted to make coffee. Parking is a additional $20 a day with very few places to park. When asking the price of a larger room I was told substantially higher. The personnel were very nice. I would never stay there again. The room was so small, I had to go outside the room to change my mind. It was the smallest room I have ever spent a night.

This was a great place to stay, the only downfall was parking, but once you got yourself parked, there was no reason to drive anymore.

We had a kitchenette with a pull out sofa. We had breakfast in the room using food we brought. Telluride isn't cheap. The room was cleaned quickly and well. It is near the gondola, so it is very easy to get to town. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The only issue is parking. We stayed at the Mountain Lodge Condos, very close to the grocery store and pool. The views from the pool deck were memorable. We were a short walk to the Gondolas and the store. The food in the deli ( grocery store) was outstanding. Difficult to get a room with the mountain view. The room was first class and super clean. GREAT BED!

Overall good experience. Two of the three nights we were there we could here the neighbors t.v., and one night could definitely hear people walking around above us. Some of the staff were very pleasant and nice and others didn't acknowledge your presence. About a 10 minute walk to the gondola.

Our 9-night vacation at Mountain Lodge was just what we needed. The service staff (and I mean everyone, from front desk, to restaurant, to housekeeping, to maintenance) was the best that I've seen anywhere in the world. Great location, great facilities and very friendly staff. The free gondola in Telluride that links that town and resort from 7am-12 midnight make this resort very easy to enjoy having parked your car once you arrive.

Mountain Village is very beautiful and a hop, skip away from Telluride on the convenient gondola. Lodge was very nice, but condo we were in was oddly configured so that the extra folks using the fold-away bed had no convenient toilet facilities; either had to go upstairs to the loft (also strange--why not enclose for privacy?) bedroom or intrude on […] the other bath behind bedroom doors. I had wanted to be in Telluride and Mountain Lodge is in Mountain Village but the gondola ride was fun and Mountain Village is kinda posh (I wanted western town ambiance). I've stayed at Mountain Lodge several times and love it. The staff are friendly, the rooms very comfortable and clean, the prices usually competitive. We usually walk to the gondola or Mountain Village, which is not a difficult or long walk, but may be inconvenient for those that like to be in the heart of things. This is the second year for my husband and myself making this trip on the bike to Mountain Village and it is awesome every time! They always allow us to park our bike by the front entrance. The entire staff is second to none. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

This hotel was amazing and an even better price! We even extended our stay for a 3rd night. The staff was more than helpful and the hotel was very nice. It was a close walk to the Gondola that you can take right into town. I would stay here again any time!

We enjoyed our stay in Telluride, hiking and shopping. The convience of the Gondola makes this a prerfect place to stay. Park your car and enjoy the ride. The grocery store at the top of the Gondola is the best one in town so shop at the top! The only issue we had was with the "placement" of our room. We used a free nights stay from Hotels.Com (not […] sure if this is why we were placed in this room) they put us next to the elevator mechanical room. This is my first review ever. I must give this facitlity accolades for their outstanding accomodations and service. I would reccomend this lodge without reservation!

Very nice area with beautiful views. Very nice clean quiet rooms. The problem with this hotel is the parking!!!! We arrived around 6pm for our check in and were informed that we needed to unload our bags then follow a shuttle van/bus to the gondola parking lot which is off the property. Then still have to pay 20 dollars a night for the parking. This […] was totally ridiculous. Having enough parking spaces should had been planned out by the lodge ahead of time. It was not our fault they didn't have enough spaces. They should had offered to compensate the cost for the parking for the night. The only thing the guy said at the check in desk was, "well at least you have a nice room.". I ask myself where is the hospitality in this beautiful place? My wife, sons and I stayed in a junior suite, with a king size bed plus a convertible sofa. This room had a nearly full size kitchen with a Subzero stainless steel refrigerator, and a rugged 4 seat rustic wood dinette. The suite had a gas-fired stone fireplace. A small balcony overlooked a small river that was out of sight, but provided a soothing sound. […] The nearby hotel lobby, bar, pool and hot tub were all luxurious, despite a rustic decor. There are hiking trails and lots of nearby restaurants in the Mountain Village complex. It is easy to take the free and scenic gondola across the mountain to downtown Telluride. When my husband went to get ice, the machine was being repaired. The maintenance man stopped his work and went to the next building to get ice for us. A very relaxing place for our last night of a two week road trip. Beautiful setting.

Was told we would have a kitchenette and balcony. Had neither and did not even have a chair to sit in. The bed was the only place to sit. Watched tv, drank coffee, dressed on te bed. Nice facility if you get the large room. We were not told about the $20/day parking fees (but did get a reduced fee of $10/day). Gondola was convenient thus downtown telluride […] was too. great spot- great location- views and rooms are of great quality! Main lodge a little small but appropriate as you probably will be using your in room facilities and many restaraunts just a gondola ride away. Will return and highly recommend for summer or winter.

Our stay was wonderful from the front desk check-in to the help from the concierge on a first rate massage. The restaurant served snacks and dinner and the service was friendly and timely. We loved our stay! The front desk service was wonderful - they were so helpful and friendly. We stayed in the small lodge room and it was small, but very clean with a great view! The gondola was right there so getting down to the town of Telluride was very easy and enjoyable. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great vacation in lovely accommodations. The Lodge is located very convenient to the Gondola is very well appointed. We would stay there again if rates allow. The only negative is the $ 20 per might parking fee and the very limited availability of parking.

The resort exterior design is picture perfect. The room was updated, with upgraded decor and bedding. Though the room was a bit smaller than a standard hotel size, it had an overall elegant feel. The resort is located in the middle of the Mountain Village community with easy access to the free gondola system that services Telluride and Mountain Village. […] Limited on site parking, overnight parking is a 5 minute walking distance to the gondola station; however the resort provides a free shuttle. Gondola ride provides stunning mountain views and is the best free public transportation system I have ever experienced. The beautiful mountain resort location makes this a winner! Even with a prepaid hotels.com reservation, they immediately hit you up for $20 per night parking -- and that is during off-season! It is nowhere near the town, parking is a big problem, rooms are tiny, and it is WAY overpriced for what you get. Stay away!!!! We were soooo disappointed. We will never go back there.

We liked the facility a lot and especially enjoyed the hot tub views and the Gondola ride down to the old town. However, be aware if you arrive after noon you will likely not be able to park right at the hotel. My husband and I took a short weekend vacation to Telluride to hike Black Bear Pass. We really lucked out by being able to booked a room with Mountain Lodge. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice...a little hot with no A/C, but livable. We had a few drinks at the bar and had a very nice conversation with the bar tender. The people […] attending to the Gondola ride were just as nice. The hospitality of this town was great! You do not see it enough anymore. A restaurant suggestion is Brown Dog Pizza. The food was amazing, the drinks were great, and the staff was very attentive. We had a great view from our room and loved the location outside the main village. You have to be a gymnast to get in and out of the bathrooms and to use the bathrooms. They are tiny. Great location - walk to the gondola, shops, and restaurants in Mountain Village. Small suite was clean and well thought out, with a full ktichen and living area.. Would recommend a regular room if traveling with more than 2 people as they are a bit small. Valet parking was a bit slow, and was required due to limited space. With the mountains in the background and a river running below, the view from our 3rd floor condo was amazing. This is a fantastic spot for any vacation for all families. You've got the Free Gondola into Mountain Village and Telluride as well as a short drive to Ouray, CO on the other side of the mountains.
