In the heart of Quebec City's Old Port, this stylish boutique hotel faces the St. Lawrence River. The popular Musée de la Civilisation is adjacent. The many shops and cafés of rue St-Paul are less than 300 yards away.
Hotel Features.
The hotel's Panache restaurant showcases gourmet French-Canadian cuisine and is housed within the walls of a maritime warehouse built in 1822. The casual Café Artefact is open from late morning till late evening. Room service is available. The 24-hour gym includes a Finnish sauna. Complimentary yoga classes are held Saturday mornings. Massage therapy and personal training are available. Auberge St-Antoine by Relais & Châteaux also offers a private screening room, concierge desk, and business center.
Guestrooms.
Beds are layered with luxury linens and goose-down duvets and pillows. Rooms also offer complimentary high-speed Internet access, minibars, and pay movies. Bathrooms come with makeup/shaving mirrors, bathrobes, deep soaking tubs, and designer toiletries. Most guestrooms include flat-screen TVs and Nespresso coffeemakers.

Hotel is quite close to Laval (10-20 min slow walk) , very close to a bulding with bar and cafes (mostly fastfoods, thai etc.). Food in hotel restaurant is generally ok. Can bring own wine. Breakfast is quite poor (buffet is the necessary minimum that I expect, but nothing more). Big shopping mall is about 30-35 min walking. My room was big enough, with some extra empty space, but has only small window so I have to use light almost all the time. Heating system was very noisy, but working well. There is gym (small but enough), three small pools (one with cold water, that you can use after sauna which is also there). In summary: the hotel is generally ok and worth considering for the price I paid (ca. 80 CAD/night) but a little too expensive for the normal price (ca. 150 CAD if I remember it well). Some extra info: taxi is ca. 25CAD from the airport. There is good bus connection to the city centre from Laval (I used line 800 which took me directly to the old part).

The Auberge St-Antoine was just exquisite! Our room was gorgeous with beautiful detailing and luxurious bedding. The hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful in every way. We used the in-house gym and dined at the fabulous Panache restaurant. We were able to take advantage of the hotel's parking garage and use our vehicle for a day's sightseeing with […] ease. The location of this hotel could not be more perfect for seeing all the sites of Lower and Upper Town of Quebec City. "Auberge St-Antoine in Quebec - cruise convenience"
You can't get more conveniently located to the cruise port. It is right across the street. It is also walking distane from nearly everything in Old Quebec. Service is 5 star, as is the wonderful restaurant Panache.

We really enjoyed staying at the Auberge. We were very pleased with our room. The decor was exceptional and the room was clearly very well maintained. Our bed was so comfortable we were able to sleep well every night. This is a major plus for us as we usually find hotel beds uncomfortable and not good for the back. A member of staff comes to your room while you are out at dinner who then turns down your bed covers and leaves a small card with the next days weather forecast. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. My wife and I have traveled extensively and rate Auberge St. Antoine an A++. Great value, great location, very clean, and very friendly staff. Look forward to staying here again when in Quebec.

"Oustanding Hotel"
Stayed one night in mid-August. To our surprise, offered to check us in early, which was great. We had a "Comfort Room" with queen bed. Good-sized room with separate dressing area, including built-in ironing board. Very nice bathroom with separate toilet stall. Excellent lighting throughout room, with dimmers on all switches. Throughout hotel and in […] room, artifacts from prior buildings on the site. Very interesting book, in French, with more detail, in every room. Restaurant, Panache, is excellent. Be sure to make a reservation when you book your room, as it is very popular with non-guests also. Breakfast, of very special Eggs Benedict, was one of the best I have ever had anywhere. Room service is prepared by the hotel's great restaurant, Panache. My girlfriend couldn't remember ever having a better steak, and our desserts (mine was a Valrhona chocolate creme brulee) were incredible! The bathtub fit two of us, laying down up to our necks, comfortably; the bathroom floors were heated. In the lower part of downtown but you can take the Funiculaire up with a short walk. The shops around this area are very nice as well. The restaurants are fantastic in lower town...Toast....Panache...etc

Just stayed there 2 days in one of the suites (The Gustav Suite to be exact), and it was phenomenal! The design and layout of the hotel felt more like a art museum/ fine hotel than just an ordinary hotel. The decor and thought put behind each part of the hotel made on a special experience. The owners host a cocktail hour on Wednesday evenings for 1 […] hour to welcome the guests, with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served while the owners mingle. Very nice people! Also the hotel in very centrally located next to a Museum, and close by the funicular which will take you up to the walled on old town Quebec, and Chateau Frontenac. Absolutely loved this hotel. From the welcoming staff, the warm fireplaces, the books and game available in the foyer, daily papers and fruit, the hotel made you feel very much at home. The room was almost like a suite in size and the heated bathroom floor was delicious after braving the freezing conditions outside. It was a quick getaway for my wife and I from the city. although it took us an extra hour to get to the actual hotel ( the navigation seemed to route us to a different location) it was worth it. Great hotel in a great city. Everything was wonderful during our 3 day stay. The room was fantastic with an upscale bathroom including heated floors. We loved the espresso machine in the room. The staff was always friendly. We'll definitely come back again.

Was pleased over-all. we changed rooms from a river view to a city view. (River view includes busy road). Might be a few too many lighting options in the room, and a few too many historical / archeological decorations throughout. True about the huge bathtub, did myself in.

I chose this hotel for our honeymoon after investigating many of the other hotels in Old Quebec City, and it did not disappoint. While it was pricier than some of the surrounding hotels, the location, the decor, and the staff proves that many times you indeed get what you pay for. When I mentioned to the reception desk that it was our honeymoon, they […] gave us free valet parking, which was a nice touch. We stayed in a comfort queen room on the third floor, and the room was excellent. The bed and pillows were both quite comfortable, and there was ample storage for all of our clothes and other travel items. However, the real perk was the bathroom - it was spacious, with pocket doors and the largest bathtub I've ever seen. Both my wife and I could share a bath together comfortably without feeling cramped. The hotel also had artifacts excavated from the ruins beneath the hotel in glass display cases around the hotel, which added a very nice touch. The room was also comfortable enough to stay in during the day while resting my injured knee. The hotel was perfectly located on the harbor side of the old city, so it was only a five or ten minute walk to every important site in the old city, and close to the funiculaire as well. The hotel is right next to Rue Dalhousie, which conveniently feeds to Boulevard Champlain, which feeds to the major highways in and out of the city. They hotel had a concierge available to help with questions about the hotel and city that my wife took full advantage of, and this women helped us with information about Cirque de Soliel, hotel massages, parking at the Aquarium du Parc and more. The quality of service that we received from the hotel staff was exceptional. The only change I'd make about the hotel is perhaps a sign indicating valet parking outside the entrance on Rue St. Antoine - as that was a little confusing when we first arrived. Stayed here for 3 days on our honeymoon. The hotel was fantastic! Weather was not great in Quebec so we enjoyed all the fireplaces in the lounge area. Room was beautiful, shower was amazing. We ate in the restaurant which we also enjoyed.
