This was a very good value; great location; friendly staff. This first room assigned had an odd odor and they quickly changed rooms for me.

Very spotty maid service. Very uncomfortable bed. No front desk aervice after 4pm. Price was low, but still not worth it.

I was very happy with the condo we rented at Carriage House. The full kitchen, good size bathroom, plus the heated pool and hot tub were perfect for a week of skiing. The hotel is not walking distance to the slopes, but there is a bus stop for 3 different buses that take you to pretty much every place you could ever need. Furthermore, the neighborhood […] around Carriage House has good local eateries and cafes - enough that you don't need to go downtown every time you want to go out to dinner. My cousin and I rented condo #314. It's on the 3rd floor of the 4 story building. The balcony view faces west but there is a building that blocks the view of the ski slopes and I wondered if a 4th floor condo would have been able to see the slopes. Not really important, we were happy with the view and it was much better than the other side of the building […] that over looked the pool and other rooms. Condo #314 was nicely decorated and looked as though it had been recently renovated with granite counters tops and beautiful slate tile flooring that ran from the entry way into the bathroom. The tub in the bathroom was a little worn but worked very well, with a nice shower head and great water pressure. The owners were very thoughtful in leaving a log in the fireplace for our first night until we could get to the store for more. I also found it thoughtful to have a thermometer on the balcony railing so you could see the temp outside. The kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. There were plenty of extra towels, toilet paper and tissues. The extra sink in the bedroom was very convenient. The sofa bed was comfortable and there were plenty of linens. The unit was very clean and cozy. Our unit had carpet under the kitchen table which I think is nice to help damper the sound of the chairs being pulled across the floor which we could hear quit loudly from the unit above us, which obviously didn't have carpet under their table. Julia who checked me in was super sweet and accommodating. She originally put me in unit #317 across the hall which was nicely furnished and clean but it was dated and over looked the pool and another bldg. which I didn't like. I asked if there were any other units available and she gladly checked for me and let me look at #314 which I liked much better so she moved me with out any grief. Me and my husband are not ones that would complain, but we got there and there was no one there to check us in, we got there a half an hour before after hours. When we got to our room the bed was so loud, the whole bed frame was wood and cracked and sqeaked every time you moved. When it came time to check out, we waited for the receptionist for a half […] an hour before she returned to the desk to check us out. It was not a hard process, the customer service just wasn't good. I would like to say I could recommend it but cannot. It was one of the cheapest, but I would pay a little more for better comfort. Short and sweet - The room was clean and comfortable. The Staff was very friendly. The location was great for the price. It had a heated outdoor pool and an indoor hot tub that was very refreshing after hitting the slopes. It is an older condo so don't expect 4 star amenities. The only downside for me was there was no ice available. My room had a kitchenette […] with a small fridge but no way to make ice and there was no ice machine available on site. More details - I was originally going to stay in Heber City because that was the closest location to Park City with a hotel that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Heber City is app 11 miles away. I postponed reserving a room until the week before I left and ended up finding the Carriage House had discounted their nightly rates. I stayed here 4 nights. The Carriage House is app 1 mile from the lifts in Park City. There are plenty of nice restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance and it is a short drive to the lift. Park City has free parking lots but finding a spot can be a nightmare if you wait until noon to hit the slopes. Perfect for some rather cheap and comfortable ski holidays. Really comfortable. Sound isolation could be better though. Just be aware that the bus line 1 (red) nearby stops by every 30 min rather than 20 min, and does not exactly follow the hours displayed.

Very uncomfortable bed, oddly low shower head and sink. Old kitchen. Very economy type condo, not too bad if you're looking to stay in Park City and save money. Long walk to Main St, but bus stop is a block away.

Stayed in a small studio. Not a bad value for the money. Biggest problem was the front desk was almost never open. Arrived at 6:30 pm on a saturday night. Closed. Found a phone on a number to call on the wall for late check-in(It was 6:30) Called the number and was promptly put on hold for several minutes. Finally talked to an agent. After what seemed […] like forever I was given a long code to use to enter my room. Took way too long. Desk again closed in the morning before skiing, so still had not properly checked in. If you're looking to save some money and are OK without having a ton of space, this place will work just fine. Nothing fancy here, rooms were as advertised. My wife and I stayed in the room with a kitchenette. For a 1 week skiiing vacation this place worked out well. The beds were comfy, heater worked, tub/Jacuzzi was a nice touch after a day on the […] slopes, and the stove with 3 burners worked for breakfast and frozen dinners. I dragged the front desk lady up to the room to confirm and she agreed it was a problem. She called the maintenance "department" but no one every showed […] up. I cald the after-hours number number and spoke with someone who said they would send someone over. No one showed up. Excellent service, free public transport outside, affordable. Honestly I would recomend it for nice cost effective holiday

Just a few minutes drive to PC resort or The Canyons. Walking distance to grocery stores. I stayed in an one-bedroom unit with all kitchen utensils, nice flat screen TV and fire pit. The unit was very clean. The only issue was that it took me a day to figure out how the heater works.

Carriage House offered a comfortable room in a good location in Park City at a reasonable price. The property is older, but the layout of the rooms was comfortable and the amenities, including hot tub and heated pool were good. It was the best price I saw for a week long stay. Only issue we had was that hot water needed to be warmer than it was and come to find out, the owners come together to determine the temp. Reccomend turning it up. Great location and easy to get to Main Street and all major resorts!

The kitchnette was a perfect solution for us as our family staying elsewhere in a condo and our needs were to have a place for breakfast. Our room was on a corner so felt much bigger. we travel each Christmas to PC and would certainly stay at the Carriage House again.

Located in Park City and very easy access to 3 resorts (Park City, Deer Valley, and Canyons). If you don't have a car, no problem bus stop right out side that takes you to the resorts. Grocery, ski rentals, everything you need nearby. Rooms are all individually owned condos each with a bit of a different look. Have kitchens and can stock for a week […] of home cooking while on vacation! Hot tub and heated pool (even in winter) are the bomb after a hard day on the slopes. Great Condo Nice surroundings For a Studio room it was very open and big-- Staff was friendly and I really liked the free fire log they provided everynight. It was a very nice stay

Simple and clean for those of us who don't spend a lot of time indoors whilst in UT! Great staff too....

My wife and I just love the Carriage House. It is the perfect place for a weekend trip. The condo is right in Park City, the price is a steal and the rooms are cozy and completely updated.

The hotel was nice, quiet and very reasonable. My stay didn't start out real great. When I got there, no one was at the front desk, but I called and someone came over and let me in. The original room I was booked into had a TV that wouldn't work - the cable was out. When brought to their attention they very quickly upgraded me to a nicer room, no extra […] charge. We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House Condo. Loved the little kitchen area. The room was clean and smelled fresh. We were on the fourth floor and we could open the windows to let some cool air in rather than use the air conditioner at night. Air conditioner was a bit noisy. This was a nice place to stay, however they did not enforce their own non-smoking policy on premises. The first night was misserable as room had no A/C and people below were smoking at 2am and it filled our room. The management moved us the next day but still had to contend with cigarette smoke on premises.

Very fairly priced condo. Kitchenette came in handy. Spa tub was also a plus. Great convenient location to restaurants & ski resorts, as well as state liquor store...lol

The room was small but clean although the room cleaning service was limited to making the bed. We did expect more from this accommodation but realise it is in Park City, apparently one of the most expensive ski resort towns in the USA. The very central location and relatively reasonable price made up for any shortcomings.

We rented a one bedroom unit. Great location, close to Park City Resort and Deer Valley. Great price, by far the most reasonably priced unit we found. The unit was clean and functional. It was dated, very small and some minor repairs needed to be done, but overall, consdering the price it was a good deal.

We were only supposed to stay for 2 nights but we liked it so much we stayed a third night. They were good enough to give us the same special rate that we already had. We had a top floor room and we loved it. It was pretty quiet, except for a little street noise, and it was VERY comfortable. We had a jetted tub and a full kitchen. Overall "marginal" but was accectable for the 1 night we stayed when considering the price which was around $20 less than the nearest compeditor; Check in was excellent, pleasant and MOST things were explained by check-in individual. Have listed most less than desirable comments in above narrative. Probably WOULD NOT consider this facility again based […] on my comments; an exception to this would be pricing (I have mostly considered pricing when staying at facilities on business or pleasure trips and stays like this one). If pricing is considered and is substantially less than other facilities in the immediate area of the same type, then I feel I must allow for some discomforts or expectaions being lower and the accomodations being less than what I would or hope to find (ie, newest of facility, how recently it was renovated, decor, furniture, room layout, etc.). Our room was bearable for the 1 night we reserved BUT if it had been in the dead of Summer, then there is NO way without A/C it would have been acceptable. As it was the outside temperature was mild and alot cooler than the room so we open the window (although "extremely hard to do") and placed a fan (was in the room already, now I know why!!) near it on a chair to cool it down which it did after several minutes. Based on the facility, did notice that some of the rooms did have installed A/C while otherd did not. Since this facility is probably?? used mostly in the Winter months during SKI season, then A/C would not be that much of an issue. It appeared that this is owned and probably used by owner and his guests during the Sking Season or cooler months since A/C is NOT installed within the room and rented out at other times to person(s) like myself. Would PROBABLY NOT consider renting this room type again unless in the fall, spring timeframe due to the room temp; VERY little can be done to cool down the room without utilizing outside air, if cold enough. We spent 4 nights at Carriage House Condominiums,Park City in August 2010 and overall were very happy.The condo was comfortable,well equipt and clean.The only down side was the lack of reception on site,which was not a major issue and a very noisy building site below our balcony!There are 3 buses per hour,until about 10pm,which stop within 50 yards […] of the location.This is very handy if you fancy visiting main street and dont fancy driving-the bus service is free. Centrally located with easy access to events at the nearby Deer Valley Ski Resort, and downtown Main Street. Lots of parking at the building or across the street. Make sure to arrive early to get your room key code and the access code for the building. Check-in may take longer of arriving later in the evening because the building will be locked and […] you will be required to call to have someone let you in, which can take up to 15 minutes. Customer Service was very bad, we called ahead of time to make sure the room we had was accesible to my husband who is in a wheelchair, and although we took our time to make these specific requests ahead of time we still had a room with three stairs to access it. It's great to have the kitchenette, but it didn't have every utensil I needed, so take your own!

This wasn't the newest condo, but it was comfortable and the kitchenette was helpful. Didn't have all the utensils, etc., so take what you need!

We found the accomodations very, very comfortable, and the quality of the room certainly exceeded our expectations. Across the street from a network of walking/biking paths. Not as close to the ski resort as we would have liked, but for the money it was a great bargain.

I can't believe how disappointed I was with this hotel! I have never had a worse experience. First of all, when we got there at check-in time there was a long line of people waiting to check-in and there was nobody at the front desk. Finally after almost an hour we were checked into our room. Unfortunately, when we got there we realized that we could […] hear every little thing that was going on upstairs. We could even have our television on mute and still hear everything coming out of the neighbors TV. Also, the hot water was gone after 5 minutes of taking a shower. Worst of all, as we were trying to go to bed it had gotten so hot in the room after a hot summer day, we tried everything to get some cool air going through the room. We called the emergency number they give you if you need any help at night, and he quite rudely told us that there is no air conditioning in this hotel and basically that we would have to deal with it. We had to sleep with the window open which is unsafe and only added to the insane amount of noise in this hotel. I would have to say never go to this place!
