I previously stayed at the SpringHill before I went on a trip to visit relatives. I enjoyed my stay the last time I was there and I assumed this time would be the same. I was told repeatedly that since the hotel was completely booked I could not have any towels in my room. The chlorine in the pool was so strong that my kids and myself had to leave because […] we were choking so badly. The housekeeping staff made rude comments to the guests and were not very friendly. "comfortable bed"
The blk ladies at the desk were nice. The Chinese Mgr. Sue was very rude and prejudiced by saying I had to check out tomorrow, as if I didn't have $$ to pay. She was very nasty talking toward me. The sauna didn't work. The breakfast was horrible - no sausage/eggs, just bagels biscuits, cold gravy, and cold boiled eggs. I wanted to throw up. The juice […] was good and cold. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well maintained. The only problem I can complain about is the mattress of the bed was extremely hard. This caused me to wake several times throughout the night and by the time my second nights stay was over, my body was very sore. I have never stayed in a hotel with a mattress that hard. "Not Ready For Service"
Our Rooms were not ready! We had to wait. We needed some additional towels - we were told to come down to the lobby and get them ourselves. I never heard of this at a Marriott Hotel.
"exceeded my expectations"
All the staff were overtly kind and pleasant to a level I haven't experienced anywhere else. They've been trained very well in excellent customer service. I also appreciated the 10% discount coupons they freely offered to me for local restaurants. The room and its amenities were simply AMAZING!

The Soutfield Spring Hill Suites is the best, clean, reasonable hotel. You cannot go wrong staying at this nice facility
"Hotel near the lodge and 696"
My wife and I got to the hotel and it looked a little shady, but we thought it'd be alright since my parents were staying at the same place (turns out they were at the springhill suites closer to the airport). The tv in the room was small and oddly situated. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep on and left my wife and I both in pain the next morning. […] The breakfast was fine, there was a small pool and a workout room, and I could hear a bunch of kids running in the hall. The thermostat was odd and a little difficult to use. However, the biggest issue was the duvet. There was a dried stain and piece of food stuck on the duvet. I called down and told them the issue and someone came and brought me a new duvet after about 10 minutes, but no duvet cover. He said it was in the closet. Checked the closet, but there was only bedding for the couch. He said he'd bring me one. 15 minutes later he came back. When I opened what he had brought me, it was not a duvet cover, just a sheet. So I took the duvet and the sheet to the front desk. The person said he was in back and would take care of it. When I got back there, still no duvet cover. Finally it was explained that the duvet was just put in between two sheets and specially folded. He came back to the room and 20 minutes later, managed to fold the bedding correctly. "A Nice Little Getaway"
This pass weekend was my daughter winter break so I decided to take her and my grandchildren to a hotel. My sister told me about Spring Hills Suite and all that it has to offer. So I went online and found the best price with Hotel.com. The young lady with Hotel.com was very nice and she able to advise me to get a crib for my 4 month old granddaughter. […] When I entered into the hotel it was VERY clean and I was welcome with smiles from the staff there. I need help with setting up the crib and the maintain man was very nice and helpful. And the young lady who was working the breakfast shift was a JOY to talk to. I was able to relax and enjoy my family even when we went swimming ((-: I was so pleased with my stay at Spring Hill Suites I told my daughter that I was going to do it again around July of this year. "GREAT STAY"
I recommend this hotel. My hotel room was a King suite, it had a separate sitting area with a pull out couch, desk and a kichenette area. The bed was very comfortable with dimer lights over the bed (very romantic) and the wash room was very clean.The room came with an Ipod/MP3 dock so you are able to play your own music, which i found amazing. The house […] keeping was very pleasant and came up right away when more towels were needed. The location was right off of the freeway and was close to many places to grab a bite to eat. The Spring Hills was a very pleasant hotel, right around the corner from my house. Breakfast wasn't all that great, but overall it was a great experience.

"Nice hotel, shallow pool"
We had a great stay, but the swimmers among us were disappointed in the depth of the pool - only about 4 feet. We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool so the swimmers would not have to depend on the weather. But the shallow depth limited their fun. Otherwise a nice experience.
"Clean comfortable hotel"
I selected the Springhill Suites due to the positive reviews and was not disappointed. The hotel is fairly new, clean and well-kept. The room had a small couch, desk and coffee table in the sitting area. Perfect for computer work. The wireless Internet worked well too--no problems connecting and no speed problems. "Excellent room/ comfortable beds"
This was an excellent deal. I slept like a baby. The beds were very comfortable, more so than other hotels I've stayed at. Every one was friendly and accomadating. All the amenities you could ask for. Great pool, hot tub, breakfasts, wonderful rooms, etc, etc.
