"Poor hosekeeping and matainence"
Rooms had dirty carpets that were not vacumed well. Found pencils on the floor when we checked and still there 2 days later along with other dirt. Had to ask for toliet paper twice. Mininfridge froze our soft drinks. No knives on the breakfast and no one checking out bar for refills. We have stayed there before, but won't again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here while visiting friends in Dayton. We found the hotel to be very reasonable - no frills, showing signs of age and use, but reasonably well maintained. This hotel is within easy driving distance of the city, university, and the mall; but don't expect much within walking distance. The room was adequate. The bathroom had black mold around the bathtub & the faucet. The sheets on the bed did not fit properly & I had to almost remake the bed during the night. I thought that the location was more convenient to I-675, it wasn't.
Everyone was kind and helpful. The carpet definitely needed a good cleaning.

It would have been perfect except the recliner chair in the room was wore out a long time ago.

I found everyone and location accomidating. The only thing that set me back was the wrappers on the floor and the beer bottle in the trash can but I checked the sheets foe cleaniness and they were fine. This was just a small thing but all staff was friendly. Thank you all for making it a comfortable stay as this was a stressful weekend.

I had to take this motel because most of the rooms in Dayton were gone due to the local hamfest. I was very pleasantly surprised. Paper thin walls and the strip club across the street are not the best combination. The sounds we could hear from the other rooms( ie head board banging and very loud moaning) probably were the result of the nearness of the questionable establishment. Easy to find, room had fridge and microwave, didn't need as I checked in late and left early. Hot shower and a clean bed,s expected.

Old hotel, well kept. Across from a strip club. Loud A/C. Friendly staff. Mixed bag, but I'd say its worth the rate.

"Great Hotel"
We just needed a cheap hotel for 1 night. I had my reservations about how it would be. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it was kept up and that our room which was a non-smoking room was actually a non-smoking room. It was great!
"Room Leaked"
The celing in our room leaked rain water in 2 places. The motel was full, so they could not move us to another room. They gave us an extra wastebasket to catch the water in, but did nothing else.

It is quite rare that a motel comes with laundry facility. I took advantage of it. Best, they even have coin change for you and acssessory for you to purchase. Not more extra charge laundry service on the go. Other than that, great breakfast, fast Internet, and roomy room. But, the bathroom has mold and leftover hair! I hope they can do better in bathroom […] cleaning. Another thing was, as a nonsmoker, I was asked to stay in a smooking room due to the unavailability of room. "Great price for what you get."
You get what you pay for and we only needed a bed and shower for our stay. All staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room carpet felt a little "icky", definately need something on your feet at all times. All in all for the price it worked.

The hotel was very clean, and that was important to my family and me. After doing alot of research on the website and reading other reviews I chose this one. I stayed 2 nights, the first night, the attendant at the front desk was extremely polite, friendly, helpful and professional. "A Nice Inexpensive Hotel"
As expected from a budget hotel, the bed was a little saggy and the pillows were a little hard. However, the room was clean. The staff were friendly. There was a small refrigerator for our use. There were do-it-yourself Belgian waffles during the complementary breakfast. I was perfectly satisfied.

"Super 8 Dayton South"
Food Room. Two king sized beds. One of them OK, th3e other, too soft. Stayed in first f;oor room. Minor amout of mould on bathroom ceiling.

All I needed was a place to crash for a night while on a road trip, so obviously I wanted as low a price as I could find. I was pleased by the condition of the hotel, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
