This hotel is soo old. The bathtub is gross - I would never take a shower in there! it smelled old, and looked it too! I thought I was back in the 80's. At least the sheets were clean. We ever saw a drug deal!

Don't be fooled by the pictures - this hotel is horrible! We rented two rooms- my son opened the door to his room3 doors down from mine and I could smell his room as soon as he opened his door. The breakfast area is made up of one rickety old table with two chairs about three feet from the front desk. Not only was there no hair dryer provided, but […] there wasn't even an electrical plug to plug one into if you brought your own. The air conditioner worked well- until I tried to change the channel on the TV. When I changed channels, the air conditioner would go off and then come back on. Hard to access from the street, but very accommodating Restroom was dirty but the tile was beautiful The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

This hotel is possibly the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in hotels for 25 years while I was a traveling salesman. The hotel room was very dark and smelled horrible. The place was so bad that we did not even spend the night. We decided to drive back home even though it was late. I suspect that I will not get my money back since […] I booked it through Hotels.com but we could not stay there. Also, it was not a bargain as far as price. worst night ever people outside the room drinking and talking loud and really bad words we leave from the hotel about 1am we dint seelp there we drive 3 hrs to go back home. we just throw ur money, and teh room was horrible the smell. well was ther worst experience ever.I will never make a recervation on Hotel.com

Woke up early for their supposed continental breakfast to find cereal and donuts! What a rip! Worst hotel in the area

This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. The best word for it is "icky." I know all the hotels in New Braunfels are going to jack up their prices for Memorial Day Weekend, but we paid way to much money (a 4 star hotel price) to sleep in such a nasty pig sty. The A/C wasn't able to get the room cool until about 4am despite being on high. We had a room with two queens. They apparently don't have queen sheets b/c the sheets didn't fit the bed right; so expect your feet to be on a bed cover and not a sheet (nasty!!). In the morning, the shower didn't drain and they had to give us another room in order for both […] of us to take a shower. I can't say they have bed bugs because I didn't see any, but i have bites on my feet and a few other places now after sleeping there. The room was very clean except for the bathroom floor and shower. The hotel entrance is in an awkward spot on the highway. It is dangerous as there is no access to a left turn lane and it is right off an intersection. The motel itself was run-down looking. It needed better keyed entry. The keys were old and difficult to open.

I was sleeping when the receptionist called my room in the middle of night and wonder whether i called 911. Of course i said no. But 2 minutes later police came and knocked the door. I had no idea what's going on. But all i heard that night was yelling of many people. They just stopped after 2 or 3 am.

Was pleasantly surprised. Me and a friend stayed here for the weekend so we could go down the river. The rooms all include a refrigerator and microwave, which is important to us for saving money on dinning out. The rooms are not 4 star quality as far as cleanness and and furnishings, but there is nothing discussing or non-functional. The only thing […] that was not working was 1 out of the six lamps in the room had a burnt bulb that was easy to get a replacement from the front. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. I also like the fact that at least in the double bed rooms, there is a couch and the TV allows for aux video hookup with composite cable hookups. Please be advised that this hotels cleanliness is disgusting, doors dont shut correctly and location is ridiculous. If i could of changed locations without a penalty I would.

Ok I am all about cheap hotels because all you are doing is sleeping there anyway right? It wasnt all bad so I will break it down with pros and cons. I said no I would not recomend to others because there are just too many other choices in the immediate area that are so much better. The only reason I booked this hotel is because the trip was last minute […] and all the medium priced hotels were all booked. The price for this place was well below the more expensive hotels that had rooms available. So here goes Pros: Nice Manager Good location walking distance to convinient store, department store and resturant Quiet and dark rooms Cons: room may have been clean but lighting was sparse and looked dingy key card never really worked properly to open the door bathtub looked very dingy and dirty I would not recomend bathing a child in it unless you plan on cleaning it first.. Overall it wasnt terrible but there are just too many other choices that are in the same price range and same location to merrit staying here again. And I guess I have bad luck with staying in a hotel in New Braunfels and having the power go out. Second time this year it has happened to me and low and behold I find out again that it was a room specific problem not a black out or loss of power anywhere else. It was reasonably cheap, you get what you pay for. No complaints though.
