Friendly staff clean and comfortable rooms

Stayed 3 nights - was in the area to visit a friend. Loved the breakfast in the morning and really loved getting a break on the room rate at the end of my stay! Was very happy with the facility and the service and employees there were really great.

Very nice staff and clean room. Will stay here again

Nice enough hotel. The pool didn't look very inviting being a shade of green which made one question the inteligence of jumping in. Room was nice and warm to just sit. No hot tub which is the best part of a pool room. given the price of nearby establishments on their signs, I decided not to tel anyone how much I had paid. Too much!! My stay at Country Inn was ok for the money, Free breakfast and indoor heated pool at Beaufort Location. The room could use some upgrades as well. The service is ok. Hotel is close to stores and resturants. If you are a light sleeper do not get a room on the Hwy 21 side of building.

Overall stays was okay at best. The Free Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, as the eggs, gravy, sausage & even the waffles tasted really bad...even the milk for cereal tasted sour. The hotel states renovations completed December '11 and we were there on 12-25-11..carpets looked old and dirty and pool area was dirty...in fact, the pool water was murky […] and had lost of dirt and algae on bottom (and this is an indoor pool). This hotel is within 10 minutes of Parris Island Marine Recruit Depot. Hotel staff was very friendly, informative, and helpful with questions about Marine graduation.

this hotel was just average. The fitness temperature was 85 when we tried to get in. The room had just had a border removed poorly some of the bath was in poor shape. While I was told that the facility was undergoing improvement---perhaps they should get the improvement completed and then rent the room. The sheers at the window closed but not the heavy […] side panels which allowed the exterior Parking lot light( hung outside our window to shine directly thru the night into our room. Here for two nights for our new Marine graduation. FULL breakfast, staff helpful, fairly close to the base. Booked a room for 4, our room had a separate sitting area, 2 TV's. Even received a copy of the local paper with our Marine Graduate Friday morning listed on the front page. I assume they do this every time. Nice touch.

I stayed here for 3 nights, and overall it was a good stay. I would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again. Room: The suite was spacious and comfortable. The bed, sheets and pillows were clean and comfortable. The towels and toiletries were adequate. The room had all the advertised amenities, and the fridge/microwave is always convenient […] when traveling multiple days. Staff: I usually don't interact w/staff other than check-in/checkout unless there's a problem (and there wasn't here), but what interaction I had was pleasant. Building: The hotel was in decent condition. It was fairly new and it good repair. Consistent w/the brand. This was a nice hotel for the price in Beaufort. It was very conveniently located and the staff could not have been more friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the waffles. Overall it was an excellent value.

I have stayed at several hotels during recent visits to Beaufort and I must say that the Country Inn and Suites is one of the best yet. The hotel staff was excellent and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. During this trip it was me and my two daughters and I felt very safe. This place was disgusting, Bed Bugs...smelled terrible. Broken table with no one to repair it. No coffe pot, TV was terrible, you couldn't order movies. To be honest I would have been more comfortable and cleaner sleeping behind Walgreens!

The hotel was okay. The front desk staff could be found outside smoking with friends quite often. The room was neat, but not the cleanest. For the price, I might think twice.

The Country Inn provided me with excellent access to the Penn Center on Helena Island and the stores, ammenities and restaurants of any major city. Very nice hotel and we were treated very nice and had nice service people. I fully recommend this hotel.

Loved the comfort of the bed, pillows and convenient location to P.I., BUT don't try the eggs! They tasted like they were powder eggs made w/fish water! All other breakfast items were good, but, about lost it all over the eggs. Besides that, the stay couldn't have been better!

Stayed here for my nephews graduation from us marine corp. Very clean and comfortable beds. Continental breakfast was great. You could even make your own waffles. Highly recommended.

The biggest issue was the cleanliness of the room, especially the linen on the beds. The entire hotel was a disappointment, expect for a wonderful hotel staff member who was assigned to serving breakfast, she truly did everything she could to make the stay pleasant. The hotel was conveniently located next to several restaurants and the Marine Base, […] Parris Island. The pool was a disgusting color green and was so foggy I could not see the pool floor and the emergency exit door of the pool room remained open to ensure the room was at a reasonable temperature. The fitness room is a closet with 4 equipment machines. This hotel was not worth the cost, however, it did serve as shelter for the purpose of the trip. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless their trip is only a couple of days and they are not looking forward to swimming in a pool or really having a clean room, or a good nights sleep. Hubby and I came down for the Lt. Dan Band Weekend to benefit the Wounded Warrior project. We have never stayed in Beaufort so were leary. THIS WAS A NICE PLACE FOR A WEEKEND GETAWAY. FURNITURE IN LIVING AREA NEEDED CLEANING, BUT THE OVERALL CLEANNESS WAS GOOD. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD MORE THAN JUST MUFFINS AND COFFEE.

I arrived one day earlier than expected and was quoted a good rate for mid week, however the staff changed my hotels.com dates and then I had to add a weekend day . I spoke to the manager who said her staff did not know what they were doing and I was penalized for their mistake. I felt I should have gotten the rate I was quoted for the Tuesday night […] stay. The Wednesday and Friday nights were already paid thru hotels.com, but the manager would not grant my request. I also had to go to the front desk to "check out" on paper and the manager said "It was a good thing I knew what was going on, because none of them did!" The furniture in the room was very abused, and my daughter was bitten on the eye by an ant. There are bugs in SC, and it could have come in with us, but was very unusual and painful for her. My stay at the Country Inns and Suites was a wonderful stay. You didn't hear any noise in the hallways or outside in the parking lot. My grandson enjoyed himslef in the pool area the whole time we were there I look forward to going back there again.

Our stay was uneventful, and the hotel staff was helpful, except when we had a breakfast spill to cleanup, and we could not find help. The room needed painting, and the pool area was much too warm: so much so, we decided not to put the kids in the pool, which we would have liked. The eggs on the breakfast bar were too salty, but the waffles were delicious. […] They did run out of syrup our second day, and seating was sparse in the dining area. This hotel will offer you adequate comfort for a quick overnight stay! (not too expensive either!). My husband was only disappointed in the T.V. (not a flat screen). I thought it was clean and comfortable! We did not use the pool, etc. as we were only in the hotel for a short time. Breakfast was just what we would have eaten at home.

It was close to the Parris Island. Front desk was very helpful. It was clean. But the cleaning service was bad. Didn't clean up coffie or ice cup. Other then that it was a good place.

We found our stay here was quite nice! The staff was all kind and cuitious! The contenetal breakfast was good, better than fast food any day of the week! Rooms were clean and nice, we were in 3 different rooms that our family was staying in. God Bless our troops and their families!

The hotel was clean. The rooms seemed as if they were in the middle of upgrading. The bedroom was 5 star all the way with expensive matresses, bedding, pillows and comforters and new carpeting. The bathrooms had new fixtures but the drains and mirrors were still old. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful when asked but […] not outgoing. It was on the main road for Parris Island (I think the closest hotel) and was next to several fast food options walking distance to a sit down meal. They provide a pretty good breakfast too. This hotel was only minutes away from downtown historic Beaufort, stores and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good and all the staff was great!

I give it 3 full stars! Very comfortable and the people where very nice. Breakfast, pool, and a small workout room. I stayed a week and loved it!

The hotel was a very nice place to stay, we had stayed here the last time we were down here. i would tell anyone to stay here and enjoy themselves. My granddaughter got to swim in a very clean pool. We also had a very nice breakfast and got to read a paper free in the morning. my daughter stayed in this hotel the last time we were down. Thank You

The place feels nasty. The carpets are dirty and stained in the hallways. The porch out front has trash and stains all over the floor. There is very little effort put in to cleaning the public use area. The pool is not decorated except for "Dollar Store Cheap". I will say that the personnel at the check in counter (Michael) was pleasant. But he was […] NOT allowed to give me a receipt for my room stay. I found this unacceptable. We stayed at your hotel while at Parris Island for a Marine graduation. It looked like they trained right there on the carpeting in our room. The bathroom also needed upgrading.

My wife and I have stayed at many Country Inn & Suites over the last year with great pleasure. However, this particular experience was disappointing. The cleanliness and repair of the room was poor. The breakfast was all packaged except the muffins, bread, and waffles. We will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is completely sold out 38 weeks a year for the Pariss island graduations. The staff is very friendly and anricipates the needs and questions of the guests staying there for the Marine graduation. For example, there is a Marine on post in the lobby to answer any questions. The issue is that the Hotel is always so busy is it almost delapidated, […] if not fully depreciated. All of the vending machines were empty. The breakfast offerings were inadequate and poorly stocked given the masss of Graduation attendees all trying to eat and leave at the same time. The rooms were dirty - as if the cleaning staff had no supervision or were understaffed. My sense was that the staff was working hard - they were just not given adequate resources from the owners. We really enjoyed our stay and was not too much of a distance from the parris island United States Marine Recruit Depot, which is the reason we stayed here. The rooms as well as the building were quite clean, the breakfast was quite good, only dirt we saw were the actual carpets in the room, vacummed but needed to be cleaned.
