I cant fault anything,brilliant hotel,would definately go again if heading that way

Room was large but old,bed linen worn ,duvet cover old, well used, reception staff unfriendly, unhelpful treated us as an inconvienience. room 211 ceiling has brown stains where there has been a leak at some point. Hotel seemed in need of a good makeover. However, price for the night with breakfast still represented very good value. Grounds, garden […] ,outside space, beautiful, well maintained. What a wonderful building and grounds. This really is a good value break. The food is great, the carvery choice is so wide and the breakfast amazing. Not the most top luxury, but so much more then the price reflects. The room was clean and comfy, and the bar was busy and friendly.

Stayed here on a one night stop over with business and found the hotel in very nice location in a small village with good restaurants (try Simla Indian restaurant Mmmm). Room was small and a bit dated but adequate for our needs and for the price I paid I had no complaints. Great wedding venue, stayed two nights, rooms arent the best we've stayed in but are adequate, great location set a lovely surroundings, Yes, I would stay again, if the opportunity arose

Exceedingly rude & customer unfriendly senior management but service by staff in the hotel was satisfactory.

I have stayed in the Bosworth on 6 separate occasions now. I choose it because it is near to where I am working and my colleagues who have limited lodge allowance stay there. i.e. Its cheap. The village itself is beautiful and the Red Lion pub and Simla Pepper Curry House are well recommended. The hotel is not. Food is a carvery restaurant (and not […] a very good one at that) or bar snacks (ok for one night but limited). Staff can vary from stand-offish to downright rude. Rooms are basic, not well mainitained and not always as clean as they should be. More like visiting your grandparents house in the fifties than country house hotel. They do vary a lot though and the upstairs rooms are much nicer with the suites nicer still. Avoid the groundfloor rooms if you can. The room numbering system and layout make it an adventure trying to find your room at the best of times, whatever you do dont get drunk on your first night or you might never make it back to your room again! Bar is particularly poorly stocked unless you like gassy lager and the bar staff would rather clean glasses and talk among themselves than serve you. Most of the clientelle are of retirement age and on coach trips so the place can be very busy most of the time so you will need to fight for that bar slot or book a table at that carvery. On the plus side the fitness suite is very good and under-used by the hotel guests so you can usually get a good swim or a work out and as I said earlier the surrounding village and countryside is great. Oh and it is cheap! This may sound very negative. I couldn't in all honesty recommend the hotel but that said I shall be returning there again for 2 nights this week! Wish me luck! Przeczytaj więcej

very cold and draughty room, heating was on but room stayed so cold, and the spa facilties were not includede and were subject to an additional charges

Generally the hotel was quite good BUT it really needs a substantial modernisation/overhaul because it looks very tired and in some respects shabby - for example, in the bar one of the armchairs was so worn that the foam was showing through on one arm; not what one might expect for a three star hotel.

All round very good value and gorgeous building & setting. Very good breakfast. Excellent shower too.

The room was dated and needed modernisation. The bath had several hairs inside and was clearly not cleaned properly. Ordered room service and the food was awful

This hotel was satisfactory based on the last minute price I paid for the night in comparison to a travel lodge for example but I would not have been happy had I paid more than that. I would go back but only if a bargain price was to be had. Also watch out for hidden extras!

Lovely location close to the village. Very comfortable room and very quiet. Grounds are fantastic. Friendly staff and good restaurant.

Had to complain about incessant floorboard creaking from room above mine that made sleeping impossible. Don't assume that the price includes use of the swimming pool or tennis courts because it doesn't. For the non discounted rates you would assume they did. For value this hotel is difficult to beat. Excellent rooms in a stunning venue. The one thing that struck me was the staff. Although well meaning and friendly they seemed to have absolutely no idea what they were doing. The range of food during the day was also not what you would really expect.

Generally friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has an air of slightly faded gentility. Room clean and beds comfortable, but little attention to basic maintenance - broken lid to pedal bin in bathroom, broken sash cord on windwow, so window would not stay open. No provision of towel rails, only rack to hold folded towels. Only meals eaten were two breakfasts. […] This is self service in a room with too many tables, so a bit of a crush. Being self service, many people continuously on the move. Disappointing quality food somewhat bland, with permanently undercooked bacon, sausages, sauteed potatoes etc.and tinned tomatoes. I must admit to being disappointed by Bosworth Hall. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and as you approach the building is very impressive, however you quickly realise the business model that Brittania Hotels use is to load up the occupancy by offering exactly what the coach operators want. Sure the rooms are clean and comfortable, the wireless broadband […] is good and the leisure facilities are excellent, but the choice of food, carvery - take it or leave it is not what I was looking for. There is a restaurant, but it is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings so I can't comment on the offerings. There are several good restaurants in the local village (5 minutes walk) so the food issue is not a deal breaker. In summary, clean, good gym & pool, broadband, eat somewhere else. Przeczytaj więcej

On arrival we found the staff to be informative and friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and well equipped although to old television set could do with updating. The Hotel and the surrounding grounds were very much to our liking, and a short walk into the adjacent village rewarded us with a couple of good pubs and what looked like an excellent restaurant […] (we didn't eat there). I arrived at the hotel, via the rear entrance. Signage to reception, certainly during the hours of darkness are poor. I eventually found reception after asking a porter, who grunted and gestured in a direction. Eventually, I checked in, got my key and was directed to my room, again with the vagueness of directions. Unfortunately, the wrong directions. […] After finding the same porter, who again grunted, and directed me to my room. The room was very clean and of a nice size. The facilities were as described. I was travelling light, so storage was not an issue, although I could have stayed a week, and had enough room for 2 peoples clothes. I went to the restaraunt, to be told I had to book. I asked if a table would be available this evening, and the waitress grunted and said I suppose we could squeeze you in ! At this time, the restaraunt was less than a quarter full. I was directed, not shown, to a table in the corner, whereby I sat and waited to be served. After 20 minutes I asked about placing an order to be told it was a carvery, and to 'just go up there' ! I asked about drinks and was told I had to go to the bar myself, which was outside of the restaraunt. I had a carvery meal, which was very nice, with a good selection of vegetables etc. After eating my meal, I retired to the bar. What I hadnt been told, was the carvery was three or more courses ! There was soup, and other starters, the main carvery, deserts and coffee etc. I left after just a main course, because I hadnt been notified of anything different. I went to the bar, and I was served immediately, with drinks charged to my room. When I went to order my second drink, a few minutes before 9pm, all hell broke loose. The hotel accomodates coach hoolidays for pensioners, who obviously have some degree of free drink as part of the package. The hotel is very dirty. The carpets were dirty and well worn. It was raining and there were buckets everywhere to catch leaks. The room was dirty, and the furniture old and tatty. Although the communal areas of the hotel are in need of refurbishment, I thought it excellent value for the rate we paid. The building, grounds and setting are beautiful and it is only a couple of minutes walk into Market Bosworth which is lovely and has some good restaurants. The bedroom was large, the bed very comfortable and the linen was nice plain […] white, crisp and clean. The bathroom was huge with period fittings and the shower excellent. The self service breakfast was average. My only very small complaint is that some of the tea cups were dirty (including one in our room) and could really do with being replaced with nicer larger ones or small mugs. When arriving at the hotel for the fourth time i was extremely disappointed, couldnt book a table until 9pm and by the time i sat down the food had been sat on the hot plate for a long time, the dessert had run out and so had the cheese and biscuits.

I was pleasently surprised at the quality and setting of this hotel. My daughter lives in Leicester and I'm frequently looking for somewhere to stop near her. I have stayed in many hotels and guest houses on my visit - most of which I would want to stay in again. Bosworth Hall Hotel was like stopping it a stately home. It was very oldy worldy but well […] maintained and eveything was in good working order - even the shower. The setting was quiet and peaceful and the cost of the room was very reasonable. What a fantastic rate we paid for such a wonderful weekend. Come with the right attitude and this is a great place. Rooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water. Everything works. Communal areas are well maintained. The food is basic but hot and plentiful. Well organised and impressive service. Our 3rd visit - A great hotel especially for the price, the building is beautiful and only a 5min stroll to the little village centre one way and 5 mins to the parklands the other. The condition of the hotel is perfectly acceptable and the breakfast selection is vast. Have now been to this hotel on 3 occasions, and would return again. The location is excellent, and really peaceful. Enjoyed the spa facilities. Excellent value throughout.

I paid for the executive room, much more expensive, so was expecting a much better room than I normally go for. I have stayed at this hotel many times, and this was probably the worst room I have stayed in in all my times here, for the most amount of money paid. I will be going elsewhere from now on

We booked a non-smoking room but it wreaked of smoke, we booked a bed & Breakfast deal but were embarassingly challenged when attending the restaurant as they had not correctly recorded our booking - there was no apology. We had a bargain for our 2 night stay. Although we were in the basement of the hotel it was clean and adequate for our needs. we had the opportunity to use the indoor pool and the staff was friendly. It was a little noisey - creaking floorboards and hearing neighbours using the bathroom - thin walls. The location was ideal to access Twycross Zoo […] and visit friends in Hinckley. would use again. This was our first trip to Bosworth Hall and was booked to celebrate our Anniversary. The hotel is easy to find and looks very impressive. We were impressed with the hotel for the price, it is an acceptable 3* but could be so much more with some investment as parts of it are appearing tired. The service was very good. We took our dog which was excellent […] as she was welcome everywhere except the dining rooms. Opposite the hotel is Bosworth Country Park which provided a great venue for an hour's run. We ate in the a la carte restaurant (Carters) which we reserved in advance. The restuarant serves a 3 course meal for a very competitive price including coffee and mints. The food was really good, with my only complaint being portions were too big ! The health club is included in the price and has a pool big enough to swim around but does get busy with families. It is worth bearing in mind that the hotel is also a wedding venue. During our stay there was a marquee playing music until around midnight. This did not interfere with us but I heard others complaining. I would recomment the hotel. It must be remembered that this is only a 3* and is great value for money. I think the basis of some of the complaints on this site are that people are expecting a 5* for a 3* price. Take the hotel for what it is and you will have a great time. Przeczytaj więcej

il possède un restaurant, mais ce dernier ne possède qu'un buffet repas et entrées, il n'y a plus de menu à la carte. Si vous n'avez pas réservé votre repas à l'avance, il vous faudra attendre que le service se vide pour avoir une table. Le bar est très bien fourni, les fauteuils sont confortables, le service impeccable. La piscine + SPA + SAUNA + HAMAM […] et salle de sport le tout est à 2,5 Pounds l'entrée, ce service est impeccable. Seul bémole, ils ont mis en place un système d'alarme (alerte incendie) dans les chambres, mais ce dernier est très loin d'être au point, du coup par moment il se met en marche, la nuisance sonore est intense pendant 10mn, à chaque démarrage intempestif, le personnel s'en excuse le lendemain via un courrier glissé sous chaque porte de chambre des clients.
