The lady at the front desk Lee was great. She was so nice and helpful.

The stay was good, except for, my grandson wanted to go in the pool. I let him go in, with lots of hesitation. The pool was dirty and full of leaves. They had pulled all of the pool furniture and there was no place to sit. They didn,t handle my complaint very good at all. As a matter of fact, they didn't handle it at all. Rough neighborhood, but nice hotel. Close to Hanna and Atlantic/Jax Beach restaraunts shops. Staff was friendly, rooms were very clean. Elevator broke when we were there, not a big deal. Would stay there again, especially with the lower rates.

Our stay at the Best Western was very plesant. We were very close to our destination . The staff was very accomodating to us. If we ever need to get hotel rooms again we will not hesitate to call Best Western.

Staff was very friendly and so helpful! Large rooms with microwave and mini fridge! Beds were very comfy. Lovely area, will certainly stay again! :)

Unfortunately my stay at the Best Western in Mayport was merely adequate. While the staff was extremely courteous and professional and made up for a lot of the hotel's shortcomings, they could not overcome them all. In particular, the beds were worm to the point of feeling every spring and making noises with any movement. The thermostat control on the […] room's A/C unit was either broken or ineffectual and since the unit, which was obsolete, seemed to lack a dehumidifier, the room always had a muggy or damp feel depending upon the temperature. Also the walls were so thin that the signals from the TV remote often affected the TVs in other rooms causing my television to turn on and off seemingly by itself. Also any loud conversations from adjoining rooms can be heard especially when trying to get some sleep. Lastly, there was no adequate access to the pool area except by jamming one of the stairwell exits open. A keycard lock on the door just like the one on the main entrance would be best, lest a guest winds up getting locked out and having to walk to said main entrance to re-enter the hotel. These are just a few of the problems encountered during my stay and admittedly, the staff did their best to correct most of them. The hotel was very comfortable, and it was very nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. We thought it was closer to the beach, but it took about a 10-15 minute drive. We asked the desk clerk for a map to the beach. She said they had one but she was unable to find one. On this day, she was not particularly helpful. Everything is perfect - location ,service ,breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

So I booked 2 nights to stay with my husband before he had to go on a long business trip. We had a King Smoking room. It was very nice, though the tv was dated and only has channels 41-72. The breakfast was ok, though I was very disappointed there was a flip-type waffle maker and batter dispenser, but no batter either days. That was sad. I had stayed here before and couldn't believe all the bad reviews I found, but as they say, usually only angry people post reviews. But I was very very satisfied and happy with my stay! I found this hotel to be helpful and close to the beaches and shopping. I found the staff to be very well accommodating , Yolanda the housekeeper was wonderful. I will be staying there again and I will recommend this hotel to my family who vacation close to the beaches . Best Western keep up your good work and thanks!!!

The hotel was clean. room was accommadating. The management was very kind and helpful after hearing plight, and what our request were, for the children. I will definately stay at the Best Western again, but not through booking with hotel .com. That was my second experience, I don't think I need a third.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was within a 15 minute drive to everything we wanted to see... The employees were all freindly and helpful..

This hotel was in what I was told was a "not so safe" neighborhood, however, I had no problems at all. I walked to area stores and restaurants, and the people were very friendly. The hotel staff was wonderfull, and although I arrived hours before check in, checked me right in. The room was beautiful, better than I had expected from a Best Western. The […] free breakfast had everything you could ever want, and plenty of it. Free internet service was great, and the pool was clean and refreshing, and we had it all to ourselves! The room was nice and clean! The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly!! I will definitely come back here again.
