"Great Hotel with excellent service and breakfast"
I arrived late on a Friday night, but the staff was very friendly, checked me in quickly, and I was on my way. The room itself was clean and bigger than I anticipated. Breakfast in the morning was one the best free hotel breakfasts I have had. It had your usual continental breakfast, but it had made-to-order Belgian waffles as well as scrambled egg […] patties and sausage to make a breakfast sandwich or eat by itself. No elevator to 2nd floor was a pain. Room was clean & well kept, but was drab. a.m. desk people were great -- p.m. not so much. location was really handy to highway. Went to their club (bar) . Great music, but obnoxious DJ.

"smokey"
the hallway in this hotel is so smokey you want to hold your breath as you walk in, our room itself did not stink though and the staff is friendly.

The website showed a Deli/Snack Bar, and said it had a restaurant There was no restaurant in the hotel, and no Deli/Snack bar.

Convenient, comfortable and very helpful. We plan to stay here again in mid May. They have really done an excellent job on their breakfast menu. This has been very helpful to us to have before our business meeting.We appreciate the basics as well as the little extras that this hotel provides. Thanks a bunch
Off rte 75 this is a nice place fairly easy to get to and easy to get back on 75 . Rooms were clean and comfortable eating places were nearby.

Lovely room for the price. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The pillows were exceptional. The staff and the owners are what sets this place apart. They were very friendly and helpful. I will return.

We have stayed at this motel several times during the past year. They have done a great job remodeling and everything is very clean and the rooms are nice. Enjoyed our stay very much. Older hotel but kept up nicely. No elevators but a beautiful staircase to climb. I didn't mind lugging my luggage but a handicap young man had a challanging time of it. Room was nice and comfortable. Would stay there again.

We travel to Macon several times a year. We have stayed here the last couple of times. The hotel has just about finished it remoldiing and everything looks really nice. The staff is always friendly. The breakfast in really good and the lady that works there will cook a waffle for you. The price is excellent as we have stayed at several other hotels […] but have decide to make this our pernament place on our visits. The rooms were clean and neat. The workout room was being painted so couldn't use it, but it was open the last couple of times. The only minor drawback was my bed was a tad bit firm, although I normally like it that way. But in the past the beds have always been comfortable, so it could have just been that one matress. I would definitely recommend the hotel. It was quiet and easy access to the interstate. I would recommend this hotel/inn to anyone. After a bumpy start to arriving once I was here everything smoothed out. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was great for both mornings I was there and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

"Decent price"
We needed a place to sleep, were only there for about 10 hours total, and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. This was the best price for the area...it is 2 stories, no elevator, but this was not a problem. Good breakfast choices.

I've stayed at the Best Western Riverside Inn in Macon several times, and have always found it clean and comfortable. I appreciate the convenient location, just off I-75, and not far from downtown Macon. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the free continental breakfast is a good way to start the day before hitting the road.

My husband, brother-in-law, & I stayed here in October for an event. We called in at midnight the night before our reservations to ask if we could come a night early. The older gentleman at the desk was very polite & set us all up; he even told us to park our truck infront of the front doors, so that he could keep a watch on our motocross bikes & gear. […] Again...we did not ask...he just offered. :) The rooms were very clean & the beds oh so comfortable. The only thing in the room that I would change was the shower head. It was not adjustable & mounted to where it kind of shot across the shower into the other wall. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway that caught me off gaurd, but I live in Florida & am just not use to that smell being in buildings. Over all it was a great experience! "Nice and comfortable"
I enjoyed my stay here. I was here for a week due to work. The breakfast was okay, the service was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. I would surely stay here again.
"It served its purpose"
I was a little nervous about this hotel since I usually do not stay in Best Westerns. The location was ideal, the room was kind of raggedy. There were spider webs in the corner so that was not cool. Overall the room was ok, the breakfast was good, so that is a major plus. The outside area with the pool and gazebo was nice. So for the price I would say […] it was an okay hotel. "Can't Recommend Best Western Riverside--Macon, GA"
While checking in, another guest came up to complain that insufficient towels were left after the room was cleaned and that the coffee and other items were not replenished. There is no elevator and at least one of the stairs seemed to have an angle which made it difficult to navigate, esp. with luggage. Noone offered to help with bags, except when we […] were leaving. There was soap scum in the sink. The floor had evidently not been vacuumed as there was still a phone charger plugged in on the floor. Breakfast was not good. OJ was watered down and the waffles had an odd taste,. The attendant cooked the waffles, but refused to cook them longer when requesed--doughy consistency. Overall, staff was not friendly. My family has been staying at this particular location for many years on our visits to Macon. For a few years we did not stay at this location as it had become run down. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the motel has been redone. The rooms were extremely clean and the linens were fresh and the beds very comfortable. The only negative I would give […] is the security. Our room was around the back of the building. The door from the back of the building to the hallway was open 24 hours. "Enjoyable stay"
I enjoyed the breakfast choices and loved the free WiFi. Very nice people!
This is an older hotel that is being remodeled. It was clean and quiet. The lounge was a little seedy, but a decent place to stay.

This hotel is not a bad hotel for the price. It's close to the interstate, close to restaurants, close to the hospital, quiet and pretty clean for the price of the room. I'd stay here again.

"Gregg's Stay"
Everything was great including the price of the hotel. Just one minor thing - The tub backed-up while taking a shower but besides that everything was great and if I were back in town I'd stay there again.

The room was updated and looked very nice. But my dog could not stop sniffing the carpet. That let me know that the floor had been well marked by another dog. I did not go barefooted.

This is an older hotel but it;s clean and fairly quiet. There are good restaurants around the area. There are elements like small damaaged areas to the tub, but that didn't bother me because the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room heater thermostat had a large bandwidth...in other words, the room got very warm before the heater turned […] off and then, very cool before it came on. \breakfast is cold ceral, DYI waffles and great coffee.
