We had a great stay - we attended a Brewers game and had an early flight. Pool and hot tub area was very clean and relaxing! We loved our stay!

Everything was nice. The room could have been cleaner(dirty chair, alot of dirt under the air conditioner, ants in the bathroom, which were taken care of as soon as we called.) Would go back as the pool area was great and the staff was excellant.

WE arrived early and instead of charging us they not only let us check in early, upon seeing my grandma in a wheelchair they also upgraded our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great. The only complaint I would have is that the water in the pool could have been warmer, the air was warm, but the pol temp was pretty […] chilly and we didn't stay in long. That was a bit disappointing since the pool was part of the reason in choosing this hotel. Overall though I would definatly recommend this hotel and definatly stay there again. Less than 5min shuttle to airport. Friendly staff.

It was overall pleasant. Our room didn't have waste baskets emptied 1 day and the carpet wasn't vacuumed 1 day out of 5 nights. Friendly desk staff, nice hot breakfast, comfortable beds, nice pool. Highly recommend, well worth the money!

Had a flight from the Milwaukee Airport and spent the night. Booked a room at the Best Western Plus directly across the street from the Airport. I was expecting a so so hotel and was very suprised to fine an older but well maintained and very friendly hotel with comfotable rooms and a great bar and morning breakfast. I also noticed that the meeting […] rooms were nice in the event a person wanted to have a conference or training there including a theater style room. Nice indoor pool with comfotable seating and tables around the pool area. I am not much for pools but I did notice how clean it and the hot tub were. hotel was across the street from airport and never heard a plane. very conveniant shuttle to airport. great food in the aviator sports bar inside the hotel. very nice pool area.front desk people were very friendly and helpful. very nice hot breakfast included with room. would definately stay again.

I arrived at the hotel about 11:00P.M. from work. When I walked into the room the temp was 62. I turned the heat up and it never passed 67. I had to go to the front desk and ask for towels. This hotels review said it was recently renovated. As the room looked worn, I asked and was told that the renovation took place two years ago. Our room had a terrible banging/steady dripping noise all night long. With a 10 pm arrival it was too late to request another room when the sounds started. Buffet breakfast was the best plus. was a bit upset about the chlorine level in whirlpool was way to high and burning my eyes.....the constant thumping in our heater in our room. it wasnt as special as i was hoping it would be. they will be getting a comment card to as soon as i mail it out

Right next to the airport. Free shuttle every 30 minutes. Great free breakfast. Really nice large rooms. Couldn't believe it was so close to the airport since I never heard a single plane. Everything in this hotel is just a little better than expected. It's like a regular Best Western, but upgraded.

You get plenty for your travel dollars here. Restaurant/pub in the hotel is great & convenient. Complimentary breakfast was the best I've had in all my travels. Coffee was solid (very key) & plenty of protein. Fitness center could use some serious work. Definitely stay again.

We had just gotten off the ferry and were not familiar with Milwaukee so since we had just stayed at a best western in mackinaw city we decided to try this hotel out. I had a great experience at the BW+; facility is a little older and it's a little out of the way, but if you are able to get past that, it's a great deal. The key was the hotel staff - they were outstanding in helping me with a tricky reservation and ironing out some kinks in the process. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, problem solvers.

I arrived right at 3pm the earliest check in time. I had to wait almost 10 minutes before getting up to the counter to check in. There were two desk clerks checking people in and finally the manager added one extra. I had requested a 1st floor room near an exit due to my handicap. Instead I was given a 2nd floor room that they assured me was right by […] the elevator. Well it was down one hall and then at the end of another. The free breakfast buffet was really nice. They seemed to really care about keeping everything fresh and full. It even had homemade Corned Beef Hash. The wait-staff was very friendly. Me and my friend sat and talked for about a half an hour after eating and we did not feel rushed or anything. The desk clerk at check out was very friendly and efficient. It would have been a great stay if I could have had the ground floor room as requested. You would have thought that by checking in early that I should have been able to have the room I requested. Its a great value for the price and it is easily accessed from the freeway. It is in a quiet and secure location.

Hotel looks nice, staff was friendly, hot continental breakfast was good, pool is nice, lots of pillows on the bed. Good experience.

The bed was terrific. It was comfy and had many pillows. The rooms are a good size and have a microwave and refrigerator. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The pool is nice and big. I would definitely stay here again. Never heard a plane taking off or landing, even though we were across the street from the airport.

The only electrical socket reachable from the bedside table could only take one connection so I had to chose between the alarm clock I needed to awake in time and a reading light I could use in bed until I was ready to go to sleep. The bedclothes tended to get bunched up and were hard to manage.

Inconsistencies in service created some issues. Our room keys did not allow access to the facility from the outside entrances requiring new keys on numerouos occassions. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk clerk, he asked when we were leaving.In addition, the bathroom was not cleaned on our second day.

Great Stay. Hotel staff was very pleasant to deal with. Restaurant, bar, front counter, cleaning staff, all great to deal with and made my stay most excellent. Will stay there again.

Bed was broken, light did not work next to bed. Service desk did nothing to help.

I was impressed with the decor of my room. The staff was very friendly. My bed was very comfortable. I usually don't sleep well the first night at a new place, but here, I slept very well both nights of my stay.

Had no problems at all at the hotel, hotel was nice, price was good.

My family and I had a 6am flight out of MKE and found this hotel to be very accomodating and convenient. Room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the free 24hr shuttle to the airport was great. The indoor pool and atrium was a great place for the family to hang out. Out of the 3 hotels we stayed at during our vacation this was by far the best overall value. The hotel is "tired" but the staff and convenience balances it out.

Had a king sized smoking room and at first there was a slight smell of something sour when we first walked into the room (urine?). It's an older building with newer updates. The Best Western was a good choice for our family vacation. Because we were traveling with 2 children, 2 parents, 2 grandparents, and 4 aunts and uncles, we needed a place that was reasonably-priced and family-friendly. In addition, when I called in advance to request that our rooms be as close together as possible, the man who helped me was very nice and those requests, as well as one for an adjoining room, were met. Also, we arrived earlier than expected (and before check-in) and were allowed to check into the rooms that were prepared (2 of the 3). Although the hotel is literally across the street from the airport, we heard no airplane noise at any hour. The hotel was in the process of refreshing the decor while we were there and, while it certainly needs it, the rooms don't currently feel old or dark or terribly outdated. Hotel was very clean and organized. Room exceeded expectations. Comfortable bed. Great pool and buffet breakfast. Staff were very friendly.

The first room they assigned us; one of the two phones was not working (no connecting cable) we did not check the other phone. The thermostat was not working. When we went down to the front desk the gentleman that had assigned us the room stated after I complained about the phone that that was why they had 2 phones in the room. When I mentioned that […] the thermostat was not working he said there was a switch off to the side of the heater/ac unit that needed to be switched on. He was very condescending. The front desk manager was there and never said a word. We did get another room that was nice. I was very upset over the whole incident. This property needs and overhaul. It is showing it's age bigtime. But, for the price and the location it was OK for a quick overniter between flights.

wasn't very clean--in room or hallways.

Hotel location was good. Rate was not bad. Clerks were polite. Breakfast was not bad but it needs a little variety. The maid service was poor. My beddings were not changed. On Friday my room was not cleaned. Had to order a new set of towels in the evening.

Our king size bed was broken and the room smelled like something that was soured.

Very nice room and hotel. Only complaint is that the room didn't have a refrigerator. Everything else was terrific. Nice staff, good breakfast, and in a good location.
