The hotel was very convenient to the centre of Glasgow. Rooms were fine and clean. There was free wifi available (though I didn't use it). The breakfast was good with self service continental and also cooked breakfast. Clean & spacious rooms,good facilities,friendly staff,good Service and ideally situated within walking distance to the hub of Glasgow(literally 5 mins walk)....and most importantly keenly priced rates should make this hotel on the top of anyone's list when it comes to searching for accomodation in Glasgow.I have stayed here in the hotel for 4 weeks […] and I can say openly you will not be disappointed....in fact I don't want to go home! I have stayed here several times over the last 2 years for work. The hotel is very central, really good rates, cosy and clean. Some hotels I have stayed in with similar room rates have served a pretty rubbsh breakfast - not here! The breakfasts are surprisingly good for the room rate and well worth getting up for!

Excellent value for money in a very convenient location for shops, restaurants, bus and railway stations. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Good room facilities for the price. I have stayed here about six times over the last two years and never been disappointed.

Good value for money. Breakfast was especially good. Great location. Hotel is rather old and if your room is on the top floor you will wish there was an elevator. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Expected ordinary/below ordinary quality rooms, but good breakfast. Experienced below ordinary room (other rooms than the top floor might be better), and varied and large but not the most appetizing breakfast (breakfast room is very canteen-like).

...But the walk up to the second floor to room 10 with our luggage was not fun. We overlooked the street and were able to open the windows to get some cool air. It is located near Sauchiehall Street and walking distance to the bus and train stations, all of which are very convenient. The room could use some upgrading. For the budget-minded, this hotel works. Note that parking is very limited and on the street. Close to downtown. Relatively easy to find. It is old and not remodelled, so expect somewhat "Spartan" accomodations.

Not far from Central station, good location for shops, sites and eateries, decor a little dated and nets in need of a wash, but room clean and tidy and spacious. Breakfast excellent plenty of food and staff very polite. i'd stay there again, good value for money in a city.

It's' a row house turned into a multiroom "hotel". The clerk was pleasant and knowledgable about the surrounding area. There is no off-street parking at all. The bed was incredibly lumpy. I wouldn't spend that kind of money to ever stay there again. The breakfast was pretty good. I'm just used to more in hotel experiences.

I was very disappointed in the condition of the room, the decor was shabby and the bedding faded it looked as though it came from a Charity Shop. The toilet/shower area although clean was in need of refurbishment, grout in shower was black with mould and paper peeling off the walls. The constant smell of discenfectant was over-whelming. Good location, easy access to the city centre. Hotel staff were efficient, and the room was basic but clean. Breakfast was good with a large choice of continental and full english (and scottish!).

The location was close to train stations and great for walking into good shopping. However, the steep steps outside the hotel made carrying luggage difficult. The room was roomy but definitely in need of some tlc. However, the buffet breakfast was outstanding.

I used this hotel as a base for a marathon shopping trip. My sister and I could not fault the staff or the breakfast. The hotel is what you see a huge B & B with very friendly staff. Will go back again as its so central for the shops.

Stayed here for 3 nights for the open golf. Great location with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. Short taxi ride to the station but prices ranged from £3 - £4.40. Fantastic breakfast with as much as you can eat.

Clean comfortable room. However I noted staff to be serving eggs and bacon with same servong spoon at breakfast which put me off my breakfast (I am vegetarian) Also - you have to ask for the smoked fish at breakfast which is listed in the hotel info section - i was a bit disappointed it wasnt available, and felt bad asking, then didnt have time to […] have it as it wasnt already prepared. This hotel is good for overnights stay only but not for a week long visit. There was toe nails on the floor, the blankets had been ripped and the toliet didn't flush properly. Our room was extremely small and there wasn't enough room to pass eachother around the bed. Our friends had a big room but had a small bathroom and suffered from noisey people […] coming back during the night. Helt ok hotell för det priset. Ligger dock högt uppe på en backe så motion har vi fått :)! Men är man lite äldre så se upp så ni inte hamnar högst uppe i hotellet - för det finns ingen hiss.Saknade lite ost och grönsaker till frukosten annars var den helt ok. - Boa Localização - Pequeno Almoço sem variadade nenhuma ex:(Leite,chá e pão) e pão fora do prezo da validade. - Quarto sem serviço de limpeza - Quarto com mau isolamento de barulho.

Victoria må vera det beste B&B-hotellet eg har budd på nokonsinne. Store rom, veldig reint, meget sentralt, god skotsk frukost, bra service og svært låge overnatingsprisar gjer at eg vil anbefala hotelet til alle som skal til Glasgow. Eg kjem garantert til å bu der i framtida.

Hotellet ligger sentralt i Glasgow. Servicen var god og standarden på rommet var som forventet(enkel standard ettersom hotell må anses som billig å overnatte på, men ryddig og fint). Minuset var litt mye støy fra Sauchihall Street som ligger ett steinkast. Men alt i alt bra prisen tatt i betraktning.

Günstig gelegen in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße, ich würde es wieder buchen.

Hotel de charme très bien situé près du centre ville, idéal pour visiter Glasgow car l'hotel vous donne une carte de résident gratuite pour stationner devant l'hotel et partir à pied vers le centre ville (5mn). Bon accueil et très bon petit déjeuner. Des chambres un peu bruyante sur la rue et sans double vitrage.

Near the bus station, the shops and the main places to visit in Glasgow. The room was basic but really clean. The breakfast was good.

Sjarmerende hotell med mange snirklende trapper, store rom og gode senger. Veldig lite bad men rent og pent. Hyggelig betjening og helt ok frokost. Alt i alt mye for pengene, spesielt hvis man bor tre på ett rom slik vi gjorde. 5 minutter å gå til gågaten.

Ligger suveränt nära till allt staden har att erbjuda. Små rum men helt ok.Rent och välstädat. Frukost bra men saknar vanligt bröd och lite mer pålägg än marmelad.

Manque de prise dans la chambre, couloir un peu bruyant, et TV très petite et éloignée du lit, mais chambre et petit dej corrects dans l'ensemble

Das Personal ist freundlich und war jedertzeit ansprechbar. Das Zimmer Nr. 14(Dreibettzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und 1. Einzelbett) war einfach eingerichtet, die Möbel sowie das Inventar waren sehr stark abgewohnt. Das Zimmer mit eigenen Bad war sauber und es erfolgte ein tägl. Zimmerservice, nur die Fenstervorhänge hätten eine Wäsche bitter nötig […] gehabt. Die Wände und die Tür sind sehr hellhörig und Straßen und Umgebungslärm sind im Zimmer deutlich hörbar. Wenn man das alles akzeptiert hat man eine preiswerte Unterkunft in zentaler Stadtlage mit gutem Frühstück. Przeczytaj więcej

Et helt greit hotell med blide hotellansatte som gir en god service. skal til Edinburgh igjen, så valg av hotell blir ikke vanskelig, velger samme hotell.

De ansatte var veldig hyggelige og imøtekommende. God service. Ble positivt overrasket over størrelsen på rommet, selv om støvsugeren kanskje var ødelagt. Kjempe store senger, men litt for harde for min smak. Veldig fornøyd med de 5 nettene.

Vi var utrolig fornøyd med hotellet! Hotellet var litt gammelt og slitt, men den hadde en utrolig bra renslighet. Og servicen var på TOPP! Hotellet lå utrolig sentralt til både resturanger og til shopping gatene! Vi stor koset oss. Neste gang vi skal til Glasgow, så skal vi deffinetivt legge oss inn på Victorian House Hotel!! :D

L'hotel est à 15 minutes à pied de la Central Station, dans la rue de la Glasgow School of Arts. Le quartier est très calme, sauf pendant les soirées étudiantes (la fête de fin d'année a lieu dans la rue, mais heureusement elle se termine vers 1h). L'accueil a été sympathique.
