We were looking for a place close to the airport with a free shuttle, a pool and a clean room to sleep in. This hotel provided all that with a free breakfast. It was just what we were looking for.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and very convenient. With just an overnight stay prior to a flight out of Ft Lauderdale, what more could I need. They provide a basic enough breakfast, and transportation to the airport. Staff was pleasant. Thanks!

Room smelled of mold. Was clean. Room was dated. Breakfast was ok. Van ride from airport was in a different hotel shuttle. Bad driver. He needs some driving lessons.

The place was very nice and very clean! The mexican restaurant they recommended and offered a discount at across the street was excellent! The check in staff were great and very helpful! The only minor issue was that we checked out at 2am and had asked the night before if there was any way that we can get a danish since they offered breakfast after […] we checked out and the guy said it was all locked up...it seems to me that they should have a key to unlock it in these situations, but maybe that's an unreasonable expectation?? Great location! Room could be cleaner a little bit, but it was not dirty, either, just very old, used furniture, etc. Also, there wasn't a great variety of foods for breakfast, but I would stay there again due to its perfect location.

The hotel immediate surroundings are good . The beach is right down the road so thy awesome. All in all not bad for the price.

Hotel was clean, and staff were pleasant. Airport shuttle does not run in early morning, we had to take a cab to get to the airport for our 6:00 am flight.

Easy to get to from airport. Shuttle service nice. Driver extremely friendly and helpful. Front desk staff was also very helpful in giving directions and recommendations to eat. Rooms ok for a quick stay. Lots of room with sitting area.

More than met expectations. Plane was storm delayed and the shuttle bus still picked us up after midnight. Room was great and continental breakfast was good. Will stay here again.

Bus service to the actual beach is irregular, sometimes as much as 40 minutes between busses. You'll either have to walk or get a cab and it's a long walk. Breakfast was decent but closes at 10 and there is no restaurant in the hotel. Service during the day was actually pretty good, but in the evening it was horrendous. I was expecting something way better... when we got to our room, the humidity smell in the hallway was just terrible... same in the room... and suddenly my 10-year old boy was asking about the dripping water from the ceiling... they apparently had problems with a springkler... they got us into another room. Wasn't much better, with the same humidity […] smell... problem is that there is no fan system other than the AC by the window... can't open the window neither to let fresh air in... not even a fan in the bathroom... but, surprinzingly, the room phone was there... in the bathroom... not too fun having to sit on the toilet seat to order a pizza or something... maybe ok for some people, but personally I found it very weird anyways... I didn't want trying the pool; considering the state in which the room was, I didn't thrust the pool much... the spa wasn't even working, so why bother describing the color of the water in it... seeing this by the pool didn't help ! The included breakfast was semi-alright... with good waffles, but over cooked eggs, and no fruits, and very limited selection of cereals, etc... we stayed at the Sleep Inn & Suites in FT, Lauderdale after flying into FLL and prior to departing in a cruise from Miami port, its a good/affordable place to stay prior to a cruise. Hotel is clean and they have a good breakfast. There's a Walgreens across the street, convenient for last minute purchases.

Nice continental breakfast. Great place to stay overnight if you are going on a cruise out of the Ft. Applauder Port. Would not recommend if staying for a week's vacation. Small pool, no restaurant or bar. Reasonable price with shuttle service to/from the airport. Also shuttle to the cruise ships for a nominal fee.

Hotel and staff are absolutely wonderful but sometimes a guest or 2 can ruin a good nights sleep by being too young to consider common courtesy when closing room doors and loud conversations after midnight. We figured we'd be better off just putting up with it for one night than complaining, thinking they'd eventually fall asleep, and they did.

This hotel is currently undergoing some renovations/upgrading, but nothing that we noticed or were bothered by..brand new carpeting etc. Full breakfast was ok, only had sausage, no other meat offerings, and no gravy for biscuits. Coffee maker in the room did NOT work. That was my most unpleasant part of my stay.

We had to ask for an alternate room as the first one did not have any towels, the tub was rusty and dirty. I Felt that the whole place needed a good cleaning from top to bottom. Not worth the money we paid.

Easy to get to. 10mins from the airport which was a plus. The Walgreens within walking distance was great.

Great location, about 1/2 - mile from the beach, great to bike to the beach. the room was small but clean with no issues. The staff was not the most cordial, but they werent rude either.

Was very good and hotel was what we had expected. We booked a shuttle to the airport at Fort Lauderdale and it did not leave till 40 minutes late. We were worried about missing our flight. All turned out OK though. Don't know why the shuttle was so late and we were getting a bit anxious. Staff very helpul though.

the hotel was dirty, the bathtub in the bathroom was dirty with black spots in the tub that made it disgusting - it had rust stains around the faucets. none of us were able to wash- we had stayed at this hotel last year and it was not in this condition - this year the hotel looked very run down --- very dissapointed .....

The hotel was a bit shabby. The room smelled. It was cold. When my wife turned on the heat, she set off the smoke alarm. All of the vending machines were out of drinks. Fortunately there was a Walmart across the parking lot. The hotel advertizes that it is close to the cruise port, but it is not. It does have a shuttle, but my wife has mobility problems, […] so we couldn't use it. We had to order a cab. We were very dissapointed in the comfort of stay at the facility. The elevator broke down twice while we were there for the 1 night stay. Additionally, we scheduled a time for a shuttle to go to the port for our cruise and did not leave tll 45 mins after our scheduled time. The shuttle driver was very impatient and drove carelessly.

Our first room was dirty. There were opened bottles of pop in the fridge, Hair in the tub, and stains on the sheets. It did not look clean. He moved us to another room and that was dated, but clean. We were there just for a bed to sleep in to catch a plane in the am so we did not venture out much. I normally don't take the time to do a review, but my experience at this hotel was awful. The front desk clerk was rude and got nasty with everyone I saw him come in contact with. The hotel is not in a great area and is not kept up on the inside. The hallways smelled like smoke and the molding was missing. I was delighted with the hotel staff. They could not have been more helpful from the desk clerk to the kitchen and cleaning staff. Everyone was a pleasure. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It is located only feet from a grocery store and a drug store. There are lots of places to eat nearby.

I have stayed in this hotel several times because of convenience. And I have never expected a lot of them. It makes me sad to write this review, but this last stay was so bad that I will probably stay somewhere else in the future. The furniture in my room was beyond dirty. It was discolored, with stains so bad I wouldn't sit on anything but the leather […] desk chair. And I'm not a guy who is easliy grossed out. The carpet was also filthy. The bathtub was black on the bottom. The breakfast was inedible. And the wi-fi didn't work in the room. Yes the hotel is supposedly going through some upgrading.
