This hotel was right on the main strip in Carson City, very close to where I needed to be. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was right. The room was comfortable, but the bed was a little hard for my taste. Some people like a more firm mattress, though. We stayed in this hotel for four nights. The really only good thing about this motel was the location...close to family. We were disappointed in the overall upkeep...seems to be running down. We had to ask for housekeeping after it was not done the first day. The king size bed did not fit the frame and was in danger of falling, The towels were almost […] thread bare. Overall the room was clean. It was pretty quite. The service was friendly, but they didn't check ID our any info. and just gave us the room. The next morning the key didn't work. We asked for a new key and was only asked what room. No identification needed. It scared me that just anyone could ask for your room key.

I am pretty easygoing about motels when I am looking to stay at a bargin, however this was below even my low expectations. I don't mind if they are out of date or a little run down....this place was bad! The doorjam on the room we had was partially torn apart, the mattresses sank when you were in them and the heat unit sounded like a 747 on takeoff. […] When the heat unit turned off, it made noises that sounded like it was going to explode. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, but that did not make up for the general run-down feel of the place. A big stack of dirty linen had been left in our room and the place looked dirty and unkempt. The coffee pot was old and stained - it should have been replaced long ago. You get what you pay for...add a little more to get a better room it's worth it...the caster was off the chair and the bathroom wasn't very clean...smelled from urine. The breakfast was a joke....

The bed itself was comfortable. The carpet and furniture was very old and very stained. I wouldn't sit on either of the upholstered chairs without putting down a towel first. I would never stay there again or recommend it.

This place is sorely in need of cleaning and upgrading. The outlets didn't work. The appliances (that I had to repeatedly ask for) seemed old and not clean - I didn't want to use the coffeemaker, it was so filthy. I was in the shower one morning and a moth flew in; I can tolerate a lot of things, but not bugs in my room, especially not in the shower. […] I won't stay here again. Hotel only has 3 hair dryers for all the guests even though they advertise 'available on request', so bring your own if you want to be sure to have one. Breakfast is pitiful. Staff was nice. We found the motel iffy, seemed to be low class people around and living there, the motel needs a serious facelift outside and inside. It is convienent to shopping etc. but the area surrounding made one feel maybe on wrong side of the tracks. The hotel room was cheap. Outside the room looked dirty. Inside, the wallpaper peeling, scratched and dented. The mattress was worn and unsupportive. The linen and towels seemed shabby and old. Overall, the room was grundgy and poor condition.

From my experience, there 's nothing to recommend this place. I had to stay for five days and I'd have to say, each day brought a new misery. If you need a good internet connection, you'll pull your hair out waiting for your home page to open. It's a joke to even say they have it. First we were given a smoke stinking room, although a non-smoking room was requested at reservation. Front desk person did help to give us another room. The new room had problems with the A/C. Did not work. Some one came to repair it. Worked for a short time then was off again. The shower tub had a hole that was patched - 5inch X 5inch square. The bed […] cover had 2 burn holes caused by cigarettes. Overall the appearance of the room was very poor. I was very unhappy and would not personally stay or recommend this hotel to any one. room service came about 9:00am. I had to ask to wait for while. I left before 10:00 am. when I came back at night. the room were as I left.

It was pretty dirty, mold in the bathroom on the wall. Mouse in trap ,still alive! The outside was very dirty and building needed painting very bad. Paint was peeling off the wood face. Not appealing at all. I would never stay there again and would not recommend it .

Don't go because it's cheap. This is not even worth of it, Rooms not cleaned on time, Poor service and staff start fighting with you when ask for any service. I did a mistake but i don't want others make same mistake have a nice trip !

Stayed here due to its price and location from South Lake Tahoe and it was rightly located as you come from US 50. The room was clean and they even had complimentary break fast. I would stay again there.

This is a good, basic motel that is convenient to the freeway. Some of the facilities listed (such as a spa) no longer exist. The guest laundry consists of a single coin-op washer and dryer, and the dryer is so ineffective that we dried our clothes for six hours at a cost of about ten bucks, and they still weren't dry. The manager seemed unconcerned […] about this problem. Wifi is also barely operational in some rooms, so if you need to do more than a quick email check, I recommend that you either book elsewhere or try your connection before unpacking the car. We needed a place to crash since we were running the Reno Tahoe Odysessy Relay Race and this was the perfect place to have a rest. The price was right, the room was clean and it was conveniently located.

The hotel could use some upgrading as well as paint on the outside and in the rooms. It was not very well maintained. Toilet was dirty and there were cigarette burns on the sheets. There was a basketball tournment going on that weekend and teens were running up and down the stairs all night and banging on each others doors. My motel was clean. All towels and bedding were clean. I would stay there again. It wasn't close to the casino's but it was in walking distance of a store and resturants.

The Americas Best Value Inn was conveniently close to my destination, was very affordable and served its purpose well. The check in & check out were made extremely easy by hotels.com. I also enjoyed the bathroom & shower ammenities they offered.

The motel is cheap but decent. The room was clean (with some smell of shampoo). WiFi in the middle of the building was breaking all the time -- too far from the only two routers. I suggest you ask for a room with a solid WiFi.

Worked out well for our needs. Pillows could be replaced.

The room was clean, the staff was quick and professional. The only bad things were the breakfast wasn't much of a selection and the shower curtain was only material and leaked through onto the floor.

For the price, I expected practically nothing. I'm an easy gal to please. I needed a place to sleep and not much else for the night on my road trip from Seattle to SF. Upon arrival, the room was freezing. Most everything in the room was unplugged-maybe to save on energy costs? After being in the rain, all I wanted was to be warm behind a door that locked. […] The heater worked ok but it took a long time to warm the room up. Cold through, I thought a bath would warm me faster than the wall heater. The water, on it's hottest setting was about body temp, so no luck there. Looked for an extra blanket, none in the room. I call the desk, and none were available. So I was cold most of the night. The neighborhood wasn't great either. The lot backed up to rundown "projects". It was a very good experience and good atmosphere.

This was one of the worst hotels. 1, No lighted parking provided for trucks with trailers. 2, The room had black something growing on the wall paper. 3. The carpets felt dirty. I was very disappointed, and will not stay at this chain again.

The hotel room smelled like a mix of air freshner and urine. I'd rather just have the room not smell at all! Also the sheets smelled clean, but looked really dingy and the pillowcases had shrunk so much they didn't fit the pillows all the way!
