I had a great stay. convenient to restaurants and stores...downtown is within walking distance. Really pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and hotle emplyee were very friendly and helpful with directions.

Very clean, modern amenities & styling, lots of restaurants close by, free parking on the street in the evenings - perfectly suited for a busy business traveler.

Came in and parked the car. Had two meetings the next morning that were walking distance away and was gone by noon. Couldn't have been better. Quality of hotel service is rated low because the wifi is painfully slow. Other than that it is now on my list of locations to price on my next trip. The Bostonian is right around the corner from Bank St., a great street for restaurants and clubs. Easy walk to downtown offices (10 minutes to parliament hill). The hotel staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that it had an actual (tiny) balcony that I could go out to for fresh air. well where to begin. this hotel definately had its ups and its very big downs. The room its self seemed pretty on first glance, but once you put you head on the pillows you could smell old sweat and they were full of lumps. Also the pillows cases were stained yellow. The bathroom looked as if it was just wiped over men's facial hair all around the sink […] and old toothpaste stains as well located on the counter. The floor in the bathroom was slimey so if you are a pickey this would definately not suit. I just put a large towel (which by the way were stained) on the ground to keep me sane. The kitchen (which we didnt really use) was probably the cleanest part of our room. I am use to hostels and not really know what sleeping conditions are like but if you are fussy i wouldnt recommend staying here. For the price they charge you defintaely do not get the bang for you buck. Check elsewhere or pay a little more to stay somehwere with a bit more class. Przeczytaj więcej

NAY!!!!!!! It was not a place I would ever want to stay again, no restaurant etc. not nearly as nice as the photos. The closet door was broken, the bathroom was literally the size of a small closet. I think it was a low rent apartment building that they purchased and reno’d as they each had a pathetic kitchen.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Bostonian Executive Suites in Ottawa. The location was walking distance to restaurants and cafes but it was on a quiet side street. The addition of a full kitchen was appreciated, except I did set of the fire alarm. I would definitely stay again on any future visits to Ottawa.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating.Hotel was charming.Took an inordinately long time for water to become warm in showers..Linens were synthetic and not so pleasing.Overall good experience and would stay again.

Garbage from previous guest had not been removed.

This hôtel is great for thé kitchenettes That are Well equiped and clean. The staff is not friendly at check in. small beds ask for queens

After booking I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but our room was clean and modern and very comfortable. The staff were courteous and responded quickly to any questions. The hotel is a bit noisy, but it was never during late night or early morning... we were also above the drive entrance so it may have been our room. There is […] a nice late night supermarket a block away which is handy with the kitchenette for picking up some breakfast items or food. The street is fairly quiet, the nearby mainstreet is a little sketchy but far enough away that it did not pose a problem. The location is not the greatest if you do not like walking... but it is definitely withing walking distance to the attractions such as Parliament, the Canal and Byward Market.... etc. We had a great time in Ottawa for Winterlude and the Bostonian did not disappoint in accommodating us. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I really enjoyed it! The rooms are very modern looking and clean. Bed was really comfortable and even though the kitchen was small it was still really nice to have.

Just enough out of the way to make it a great spot. Bank street less than a block away, Loved having a fridge for late night snacks, Staff was nothing but awesome!

I like the Bostonian. Restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store are close by - all within walking distance. The hotel is in a great neighborhood in the centre of the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The underground parking garage is small and might be tricky for anyone with a full-sized vehicle. This place was very nice. It was a home away from home. Next time I go to Ottawa, I will stay at the Bostonian executive suites. Everything was in walking distance, Parliament Hill was right down the road.

My first room smelled of fish which I suppose you can expect with a kitchen but they should have some way to neutralize cooking orders. When I went into the washroom the bath tub was filthy with debris in the bottom, a tub piece missing and a filthy washcloth on the edge and a plunger in the tub. The night staff person came to look, apologized, and […] gave me another room which was much better. Communication between management and cleaning/repair team needs to improve. Excellent smaller hotel not far from downtown Ottawa. Underground parking was very tight but free. Excellent location to go for dinner at local restaurants

I stayed there over New Years for one night - great stay. Very nicely decorated hotel and rooms - the balcony was a real treat. Would recommend to anyone, much better than your typical hotel - great price! located on a street of apartments which was an interesting selection.. gave you a true taste of the area. The room itself was fine, but ALL of the towels were dirty. They were either badly stained (yellow splotches all over) or had weird brown streaks (actual physical dirt--looked like makeup). Even more repulsive was the fact that the towels were folded to appear clean. Upon first glance, they looked fine, but once they were opened, there was a lot of […] visible stains and dirt. Even the dish towel in the kitchenette had food on it and was folded to hide it... My husband and I usually are not fussy consumers and like things on vacation to be as easygoing as possible, but because of this, neither of us could shower for our 2-night "romantic" getaway. The hotel staff offered to change our room, but we felt that wouldn't have made a difference because our confidence in the conditions of the hotel itself had been shot. Because we filed a complaint about this, they offered us a free night stay, which, while courteous, will probably never be used. Another less disgusting problem we faced as being woken up. The first night, we were woken up at 3:30am by an alarm that was set by (we assume) the previous guest. We feel this shouldn't have been left on by the staff that prepared the room. Also, on the second morning, the fire alarm went off bright and early. While we, of course, do not blame the hotel...we did, nonetheless, get abruptly woken up on both nights of our stay. We had very nice apartment suite for a reasonable price. Close to parliament. Friendly staff, continental breakfast and wifi was included.

Small but clean rooms, friendly staff. Great for the money.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. My husband and I discovered a lot of little shops on Bank St that we would otherwise have never discovered. Definitely will be back for a longer visit so that we can browse these shops.

I picked this hotel because of the location in the city and it was not one of the more pricy hotels. Being in the city i wasn't too surprised about the size of the accommodations but the bathroom was just too tight. If space was an issue they should have removed the bath tub and replaced them with a standing shower....just my .02c. They do serve a […] continental breakfast. Bagels, pastries, coffee and juice. That's it, so don't expect more and they stop serving around 10 just before you get hungry again :) Overall i was not impressed. Comfortable hotel within walking distance of downtown. Grocery store 1/5 block away makes stocking refrigerator complete. Nice Vietnamese restaurant on corner for high quality take out. On site parking inside -- and outside for tall SUVs.

The hotel was nicer than I thought it would be, and well decorated. It was a double bed, but that was fine by me as I was alone. Close to bars, restaurants and cafes on Bank, and not to far from the same on Elgin. Wifi was fine. No complaints, highly recommended!

not really in a good area of town.. had no underground parking left when we arrived, had to park in back lot not very safe looking... the first suite we had was dirty, and extremely noisy then we were given another suite on another floor and it was better. Good for your money and for a short stay, but would not stay there for a week!

Hotel was really nice. But given the overall impression of the great decor, the towels were pretty shabby. Also asked the front desk for a needle and thread to fix a missing suit button and she told me they don't have that, which most hotels would.

We booked a room at the Bostonian for our anniversary weekend. Our first challenge started when we arrived and were told that the parking lot was full but we might be able to park on the street. Not acceptable. When we checked in to the room, things looked fine at first, but upon further inspection, the real issues started to appear. To begin with, […] this was a non-smoking room however the balcony was littered with wet cigarrette butts and coffee cups. The bathroom sink had pubic hair around the outside; clearly missed during wipedown. The bathroom itself was one of the smallest I've ever been in. Fitting two people in there at one is almost not an option. The real problem however was with the pillows. When down-filled pillows get wet or sweaty, they smell. If left untreated, the feathers rot. This was the case with our pillows. They were clearly rotten. After taking them back to the front desk, we were told they would be replaced and that we could pick them up there after we came back in for dinner. When we returned (still no parking...we ended up parking in someone's long term spot) we picked up the same pillows but were assured they were new. Well, if this was the case, the "new" pillows were just as rotten as the old ones. I'm sure this hotel is fine for long-term stays, but having travelled globally I can firmly say that I've stayed in better Best Westerns. Shop around before staying here. Przeczytaj więcej

the hotel was very nice and clean staff was freindly although there was not a resteraunt or any where nice to eat in or around the hotel . The walk was not too long to the Par buildings but not much else.We had booked a queen bed but we got a double bed, other then that it was a nice stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quite […] clean place to stay. Very nice, clean hotel, has a european feeling. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice. The room was very small, great for one person. The free breakfast was muffins and coffee. No cereal and as a tea drinker, I had to wait for a staff member to get a cup of hot water and one tea bag. Most hotels have a pot of hot water and an assortment of tea bags. If you are booking more than one night, you should kindly remind your check in attendant. The Bostonian staff seem to miss or not receive this information. But there's no fuss & no muss :)
