Hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff very pleasant. The reason that this hotel was on my list of choices was that it served breakfast and that there was a swimming pool. My son would have love it after long drive. However the pool was under construction and it would be nice if I knew it before I booked it. We booked for a family wedding that was happening in the area. The Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The free morning breakfast was great. The hotel was centrally located in Kanata. I would definitely stay again for any event I am attending in the area
We were very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating to changing our rooms so as to have our grandchildren in an adjoining room. Excellent breakfast provided. Particularly there were many choices available for the children. We would not hesitate to book rooms there again.

"Country Inn and Suites by Carlson, Ottawa West"
All in all this hotel gave us what we needed...a place to stay while in Ottawa for a wedding, but in general we were not particularly happy. Upon check in we were given our room and when we opened the door there was 1 King Size bed for 4 people...when we went back to the front desk we were told that the hotel was full and that we could take that room […] and wait until the next day to see if someone checked out of a more suitable room. This was unacceptable (obviously) and finally we were given a room with 2 double beds just down the hall. The writeup for the hotel mentions a pool. Yes they do have a pool, which is very small and the room which it is in is way too hot and uncomfortable. The heat blasts from the heaters, which begs me to ask why they also have a sauna since it is clearly not required. The continental breakfast was what is to be expected, but as mentioned before the hotel was fully booked due to a kids hockey tournament in town with 2 full teams staying in this hotel, and when we got in for breakfast the first morning there was next to nothing left and there was only 1 poor woman working trying to keep the place clean as well as some food available. Finally, when going anywhere from this hotel the best way to do so is to take Terry Fox Blvd, and the only way to do this is to pull right out of the hotel parking lot (Terry Fox Blvd is to the left), and then u-turn around the median in the middle of the road to get where you want to go. "Very Enjoyable stay"
We found the hotel staff very professional and helpful. The rooms were clean, the free breakfast was quite good and the free coffee and fruit in the lobby was a nice touch. The Fitness room was adequate. The pool was clean but small. No hot tub. The location is great and safe. Lots of nearby shopping and restaurants and very close to the Bell Sensplex […] and the Scotia Bank rink, home of the Ottawa Senators. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this location. The hotel was very good. This was my first stay at the hotel. I reserved a suite. We boked a block of rooms for our hockey team at this hotel because it was close to the arenas were were playing at for a hockey tournament. Nice clean room, up to date. "Country INN suites Kanata - Good Breakfast"
This hotel was better than I thought. The photos of the hotel lobby area does not do justice to this hotel. The staff is friendly. The complementary breakfast is more than coffee and muffins and includes scrambled eggs, fried potatoes and sausage patties. The TV is a flat screen. No charge for parking. Some hotels in Ottawa charge $10-$20for parking […] each day. The hotel is close to the Hwy and to a shopping plaza from which there are several restaurants to choose . If going to Ottawa, avoid rush hours which is brutal. Plan your trip to Ottawa after 9:30am. It starts again from 3pm to 6pm. No parking at most attractions. Przeczytaj więcej
Une petite note négative: il fait très froid dans le corridor du 3iem étage, on dirait que la climatisation est encore en fonction. Ceci n'avait pas d'impact sur le confort de la chambre.
