"WE had stayed here before; and liked it."
Stay was good, but the pillows could have been a little thicker.
"Overpriced and rude staff"
The early morning staff was rude and put out to provide breakfast - indoor pool was around 50 degrees (despite the sign saying it was kept at room temp to satisfy all guests) and the hot tub was around 75 degrees. When the next shift person arrived the 2 employees had a heated exchange about something leaking - both very rude and unprofessional with […] each other. "Great Choice for Winfield, KS"
Very happy with the accomodations. Nice clean pool and sauna. Excellent service and very friendly employees. Only downside I have is that the complimentary breakfast room is small and not enough tables so there was a waiting line. However, I will be back again. Very pleased.

"Great Experience"
I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service provided at this hotel. There were several requests we made and all were answered promptly and in a curteous manner. I would definately recommend this hotel to others. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was superb. Very close to town which made it easy to go grab something to eat.
"disappointing stay"
A motel can't really be too picky about who stays with them. We chose them because another motel in town had a rough crowd stayin there last year. Well this year, they moved with us to the Super 8. Also the AC unit was very noisy when it would cycle so we just left the fan on without the AC.

First they gave away our room and blamed it on us because we reserved our room online. We ended up with a room but didn't appreciate them blaming us. The swimming pool and jacuzzi had so much chlorine in them we stayed in about 5 minutes before our eyes were watering so bad we had to get out. in the morning the complimentary breakfast was out of coffee […] and sausage gravy,fortunately we had enough time to wait around for them to refill the items. Excellent hotel. Great customer service, friendly attendents, comfortable lobby, clean room, nice indoor pool. It is located within 2 blocks of a very nice golf course and an excellent steak house.

"A good stay overall"
As we all know reviews are extremely subjective. When one travels to small towns we can not expect to encounter Sheraton's and Marriott's. This particular Super 8 was a good hotel overall. PROS: * Clean rooms * FREE wireless internet access - fast and reliable. * Excellent customer service * Continental breakfast * Indoor pool with whirlpool * Within […] a stone's throw of a very lovely down town Winfield with very good restaurants. * The neatest Christmas light show next to downtown. * They ask you at the fron desk when/if you'd like housekeeping to come!! * Ice machine CONS: * No elevator - consider this if you're not a young whipper-snapper! * Not very comfy pillows. * Vanity separate from shower * No in-room fridge/ironing board or iron (iron and board available at front desk for "Use and Return" purposes.) * Chlorine in pool is too concentrated - take gogles!
