Westgate Vacation Villas - Kissimmee

Excellent. I will book on this hotel on my next visit.

The room we were given was not at all like the description when I booked it. We constantly had internet problems and the staff could not fix it. Very disappointed in this stay, but at least it was for business and I had places to go during the day.

We booked through hotels.com place was not updated the villas, the main house or newer hotel towers are much better. Beds are hard as a rock, light fixture plastic part fell off. License fifty its Tourist trap, a lot of timeshare talks are enticing. Waiting for activities were long lines we just went in April high season. April 2011 - Spring Break - stayed with family. Room was big, comfortable, not brand new, but not bad. Pool was right outside our room, as well as tennis courts and volleyball court for kids! Free lunch buffet on Monday and free continental buffet on Tuesday - Thursday by the pool! Housekeeping brought extra supplies as needed, very quickly. Staff was […] friendly and very helpful! The hotel stay was fantastic. Very spacious and beautiful.

Problems with the Wi-Fi conecction and I called 4 times to tried to fixed but never they did. The room was very small and no confortable.

We were very please with the hotel, there is no "words" to express the kindness and the surrounding of the hotel. This hotel should be rated a Five Star Vacation villas. Vey Very please would definitely recommend this Vacation Villa to friends.

We booked this hotel less than 8 hours before we arrived and via hotels.com it just seemed too good to be true! We were not planning on going to any theme parks during our 3 day weekend adventure so this hotel was perfect! We (2 adults & 3 kids) stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which was huge! We brought our own food from home, but location was great if […] you needed to go to a grocery store. The property had numerous heated pools, a great putt putt golf course, swan paddle boats and a great playground. One of the things, our kids loved was the Thomas the Train train that took us all over the property which was a great way to see everything they offered. They also had a great movie theater which showed Disney movies throughout our stay. Some not so great things about our stay...One day we thought we would get out of our room and have lunch at the deli, but that was a really bad idea--very expensive for very little food. Another thing was that the arcade was so over priced and some games cost $3/each! Regarding the rooms...check your room before bring in all your bags cuz we were told that we had a jacuzzi tub and we didnt'! BRING YOUR SLIPPERS...The entire place was tiled and our feet were hurting horribly after a couple of hours in the place. Also the beds were very uncomfortable and we felt like we were rolling off the entire night. Next thing that drove us craxy was the fact that we had spring breaker in the apt under us and we could hear them partying until 3am when I finally had to go downstairs to ask them to be quite! Very nice place for a family vacation. the price is really cheap for the confort and cleanlines.

This was a great hotel experiance. Me and my wife are used to staying on disney ptoperty but truthfully westgate rivled them. Its about,two minutes from Animal Kingdom which, in my opinion, is the bestlace to start the day anyway so in that way it was extremlly conveniant. In all it was clean, big, and very luxurious. Great place for a vacationing family. Lots of amenities, plenty of room and good location. We'll be back!

You just can't beat getting a 2bedroom full kitchen condo with a giant jacuzzi tub in the master for this price.

We loved the villa's. There was lots of room, plenty of towels and necessities. The decorations are a bit dated but with all the space and the cleanliness, it didn't matter to us.

We stayed with another family - there were 9 of us - 5 adults and 4 kids. We got a great deal for the 2 bedroom with loft. It was a perfect set up for two familes. The kids all stayed up in the loft and had a ball (We moved the mattress off of the queen pull out and put it up int he loft so all the kids fit). The condo was really big, 2 full baths and […] a screen porch that looked out over a pool. the set up was really great and it was very clean. Our biggest complaint was around the service. Our room was not ready until 7pm! They told us the check in time was 4pm "or after, but 3 hours is absurd. We had to request bedding for the pull-out couch mattress. We requestred at 8pm and they brought it at 10:30pm. also - checkout time was early - 10am. We read other reviews about being harrassed to take a tour. After check-in we were brought to another counter for an "invite" to breakfast for a presentaiton. We declined, and that was it. The over all experience was great the only thing that it upset me is that when I made the reservation they charged me for resort charges which is ok but at the time of check in they charged me another $10.20 per day on top of the other charges. I had to agree to the charges because my reservation was pre-paid and also since the rate I got for the 2 […] bedroom unit was very low I figure it was ok. This is an amazing stay for a very reasonable price. There is absolutely nothing bad to say about staying here. The only little inconvenience is the wait to chek in. For a place of this magnitude there should be something a little better (maybe a pre-registration) for those that have already paid. Security gate with personnel Very big place, many many buildings, somewhat complicated to drive through the first time because all buildings look the same. Pretty close to disney parks and convenience stores and places to eat outside disney properties

3 generations, everyone entertained and anxious to come again. From the information on activities each day, to the relaxing amenities and casual primo food with caring, efficient staff, makes for happy guests looking forward to their next visit! Thanks from a grateful family.

After a long drive with three children, we arrived at Westgate Vacation Villas about 8:30 PM and after waiting in a long line to check in (at least 35 minutes), we were told that the roo was not ready yet. The gentleman at the desk took my cell phone number and said he would call me when it was ready. About 45 minutes later, we discussed all of this […] with the VIP desk. One person there was helpful and went to the check in desk to see if she could help while we stayed with Brian at the VIP desk waiting. Brian overheard me discuss my frustration with my husband and introjected to say that the wait was "normal" and not anything out of the ordinary. I told him I had never experienced this at a hotel before and he said, "this is not a hotel, this is a resort and there are over 3,000 units and it takes time to clean them." I felt that he was dismissing our frustration. In the end, the lady that was helpful came back and said she was able to get us a room and then gave us three coupons, together worth $75 for use at the restaurant and pizza place which was nice. When we got to the room (by this time it was after 10PM), I noticed that there were MANY strands of hair on the bathroom floor (both bathroms) and on the vanity and sink of the master bath. We were so tired that I just ended up cleaning it up and putting evryone to bed. The next morning, there was a knock at the door and it was the supervisor of engineering for Westgate, saying that they needed to come in and caulk the shower of the master bath!! I told him that my husband and kids were still asleep. He stated that it needed to get done but he could come back in about two hours. He also sttaed, "I know thsi is inconvenient but we need you to not use that shower until tomorrow so that it can dry." Unbelievable from start to finish!! Floors in the room were somewhat dirty and so was washing machine.

The place is nice. I made the reservations from Idaho and was assured several times that we had shuttle to and from the airport and to and from the parks. That is why we chose this place over others with a breakfast. We landed around 7:30 pm...called the Villa's and was informed there was not airport shuttle and never was. I inquired as to the best […] way to get there and the girl was very rude and did not want to waste her time with that info. So with no choice and stranded at the airport it cost us an additional $120 to get there and back to the airport. Once we got there, there were just young kids to check us in and they knew little. All they would say is I am Sorry about that mam, but we can't do anything about it. Stonewalled. Then we were told we could find food there up to 11:00 pm. since it was a very long walk to anyplace to eat. We were turned away from the onsight restaraunts just after 10:00. The hotel was nice, my room was not as nice as I thought it would be. I got less value for what I paid for. If we would have paid more for a room we could have gotten a really nice room. Hotel had a special price for the room we stayed in, this special was not so great. Receptionist behind the desk said we had a nice bathtub in the room and it had no […] bathtub. In Orlando Fl. Is a great place to stay when you're vacationing in the Orlando/Kissimmee area..everything was EXCELENT..frm the rooms to the customer service..i will be returning real soon!

our door opened to two doors, didnt see our door and the one in front of us was the huge suite, door was wide open, linen on the floor, my son ran in the room and freaked, huge room, staircase, giant jacuzzi tub,giant flat screen, we thought we were being punked, then realized we were in the wrong room, ours was the maid quarters next to the suite, […] a little pricey for the value but clean and comfortable, paled in comparison to the suites, not sure how much that wound have cost but it was nice. Watch out for the extra fee per person that they blind side you with when you check in! when I booked I paid a"resort fee" then paid another upon my arrival. Then they put pressure on to sell you a time share, a lot of hotels in the area are nicer for less money and the room was small.

Great place to stay away from home....

Great place to stay for just about the same money as to stay in a hotel you can stay in this gated villa. I'm very impressed with the size of the room and the courteous staff. I will be coming back.

When we arrived we had to pay extra for the resort services of the hotel???? Wich we don't use because we only sleep there and go on the road all of our 3 nights. So the bargain we tought we had was not so cheap. And I forgot my vest in the closet of the hotel. I called 2 hours later when we were on the road to FT Lauderdale, and they would check te […] room right away. To contact the lost and found was very hard (voicemail and didn't call back 3 times) 5 days later back in Kissimmee I went to the hotel, and they said it wasn't there. Great stay! The villas are extremely comfortable and close to all the Disney Parks. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in town.

It has been a great weekend at the resort very clean comfortable for my family came back home with no dirty laundry since my unit had washer and dryer .Love it!

One of the best vacation places I ever been to beautiful rooms were great staff was awesome prices were great it has everything u need in one spot from a restruant to game rooms for the kids I wud deff stay there again and wud recamend it to anyone me and my family really enjoyed our stay and will be back again

Stayed there twice, were in a room across from where they keep all their golf carts very noise starting at 6 in the morning till late at night could not sleep

We loved the location. We loved the complex. However what we booked and what we received was not to our satisfaction. We were told we would have the following: safe, a kitchenette, no stove, no tub. The room was smaller that a Disney All Star Resort. The room was very clean and the complex was VERY nice but when we tried to get them to give us what […] we asked for the customer service was very poor and we were told that we had to pay more for something were told that we would have originally. Had a great time at Westgate Village over the holidays. Stayed in the older village section which was quiet, clean, fuctional and convenient. It's an older area of the resort which is starting to show in the accomodations, but the staff do a fantastic job in cleaning. Speaking of which, I know patrons have had concerns in the past regarding clean towels […] and cleaning through the middle of their stays. This has been addressed and the staff that were assigned to our units were beyond expectation. They were very cordial and provided clean towels and cleaning services mid week. close to disney. neighbors a little noisey. tile floors throughout. two bathrooms was a plus.

This is the third time for me and I always like it. This time, i was bit dissappointed this time due to it's locality and staff members. So, next time arround i may have to go back to Marriott Grande Vista or Hilton Grande
