The only thing that let The Wembley Plaza down was the complete lack of basic customer service and courtesy. The 4 people at reception seemed unable to deal with ourselves and one other check-in. Upon filling in the form to check-in I was informed that this section has to be completed by “her”, implying my travel companion. And on checking out there […] was nothing more than a “that’s fine” when I passed back my key. As a mum with 2 young boys on our first trip to London I was a bit apprehensive. However, from the moment we arrived to when we left I could not fault this hotel. All the staff from reception, restaurant and leisure centre could not have been more friendly and helpful. This is a 4 star hotel approx 5 mins walk from Wembley Arena & Stadium with free parking for guests. If you can get a good deal on the nightly rate, it is the ideal location when attending an event at Wembley. If you can't get a good deal, then I recommend you at least have dinner in their restaurant, if like me you abhor the grimey looking collection […] of greasy spoon cafe's and grubby looking restaurants that proliferate the area. During Wembley events they serve a three course carvery in the hotel restaurant which is tasty & well presented & the staff are polite and provide excellent service. Whilst the common areas of the hotel are in good condition, the room we had whilst clean, certainly needed refurbishment along with the bathroom. We found that the heater/air con? unit under the window made a loud noise all night which disturbed our sleep. The plug hole / drain in the bath seemed to be blocked, as when the taps were turned on the bath filled up half way & took ages to drain away. This meant turning down the volume of water coming from the shower considerably so that the bath did not fill up whilst showering. While we were able to shower this way, we were still ankle deep in water. On reporting this & the noise from the heater at checkout, I was advised by the Assistant Front Office Manager that it was all my fault. I should apparently have telephoned reception in the middle of the night where a manager would have been on duty, we should have got out of bed & re-packed our clothes in our suitcase and moved to another room. Likewise the blocked drain, apparently I should have naked from the shower, telephoned reception & awaited a maintenance person coming to unblock the drain, presumably we would then have needed to wait for a room attendant to clean the bath after the maintenance person. nice hotel stay here alot , staff are the best very helpfull and happy to help you , brill hotel just need updateing the rooms need a good upgrade

Have stayed here previously and would stay again. Very handy for Wembley Area and Wembley Stadium. Clean hotel. Area is ok and improvements currently being made. New Hilton hotel opening next door in July. Wonder what will have to Wembley Plazza then. Only negative is If you wish to travel into the heart of London, bit of a treck.

Having just returned from an extremely busy weekend at the hotel was pleased with it overall. Not too busy when checking in. Got worse an hour later.Food for breakfast excellent. Very good hotel very convient for wembly arena, would definately stay there again.

The hotel is an average hotel only a few hundred metres from Wembley Stadium. The hotel can be reached from Underground Wembley Park by walking 1 mile (1,5 km). Just follow the McDonalds until you reach the Tesco. The comfort is average, although there is free use of a gym, sauna and swimming pool. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The hotel looks yuk from the outside, but inside it's nice and clean. Rooms are fine, beds are comfortable, bathroom very clean. Would stay again if I needed to.

Hotel Staff - Awful, Room Condition Dreadful, Bed More uncomfortable than a stay I had recently in a hostel. Awful experience for this alleged plaza/hilton hotel - never again.

I was attending an event at Wembley Arena and wanted to choose a hotel close to the venue, the Wembley Plaza is ideally situated as it is just five minutes walk away and also close to Wembley Stadium and the Wembley Stadium Railway Station. My only slight complaint regarding the service is that I had to wait a while at reception upon arrival, despite […] there being several members of staff behind the desk who were occupied with other things. Other than this the service was friendly and professional. I found the room to be clean and quite spacious, with good tea/coffee facilities. The television was quite large and showed the basic channels as well as some Freeview (reception was not great on all channels). I would have appreciated a large light in the main room, instead there was just one in the entrance and table lamps in the main bedroom. Hotel right next to Wembley stadium. OK if you want to stay somewhere on a business journey and just want a quick bite to eat and crash (however expensive for this). We booked in and wanted to go out for a few drinks and a curry but it was 10mins walk to Wembley High St which was like a battlezone at 5pm with police everywhere!!!!

The hotel is about 1 mile from 2 possible subway entrances, which was key for us. Since we drove to the city, we didn't want to have to drive in the city center or park there. Parking at the hotel was good. The price was right, mainly due to a winter sale. I would have been upset with the stay otherwise because the restaurant was not available for much […] of our stay (dec 24-26). Granted it was during the holiday season, but that's what they are in business for, right? There was very limited alternatives for meals. The staff was helpful. Just about everything that is bad about a hotel, this is it. Service must be the worse in London. Four star rating is a joke! Hotels.com were terrific but Wembley Plaza is clearly in need of a complete general overhaul. My tip is to choose another hotel or regret it.

Heard mixed reports about the hotel so we went with an open mind. We couldn't have been more impressed! They allowed us to check in at 10am, which enabled us to get ready for the day out at the rugby 4 nations at Wembley. The only glitch was the fact that we had to evacuate the hotel at 8.30pm as the fire alarms went off, however we were only outside […] for 10minutes before being given the all clear to go back in, the staff were excellent even providing silver blankets for those that needed them. The hotel was generally good but the room was far below the expected standard from the booking online. For a 4 star hotel the room was on par with a holiday inn ! Breakfast was good with a vast selection to choose from. Very close to the arena where we went during the stay.

Stayed here a few times now. Hotel is in need of a little modernisation but the staff are friendly and helpful, room is clean and there’s a good size pool and gym to get your teeth into. Foods not bad too!

The Wembley Plaza in London was right next door to Wembley stadium which was the main reason for our visit, so was excellent for this reason. However, the hotel itself is need of a major refurbishment. The shower leaked when it was in use and the floor tiles were cracked. There wasn't a mini bar which I always need (as I have to keep my insulin cool […] when travelling) and which the hotel website stated would be in the room. Nor was there any complimentary water! However, the weather was cool and we didn't spend much time at the hotel. The food was lovely, though no muffins if you came down for breakfast after 9. Friendly and efficient check in. tried to get us a room looking out on stadium but none available, my fault for not requesting that when booking. No air conditioning but room had a fan. Swimming pool was good and we enjoyed a session in evening but the pool was closed the following morning so we could not use it.

Very warm and friendly staff at all levels. nothing was too much trouble from reception thru to fitness suite staff. Good location being a ten minute walk away from Wembley park tube station. Small but adequate gym and pool, free and secure parking. Breakfast was excellent value and easily set me up for the day. Wembley Plaza hotel is great if your going to Wembley stadium/Arena/surrounding areas. The reception is modern and the staff are really friendly and helpful. My room was clean and spacious. However the drainage in the bath was poor and we slipped several times in it. No ventilation in the bathroom, therefore it was like a sauna! In the room it was hot […] ans stuffy- Where is the AC? I stayed here in July. The front desk staff were very helpful and knew the locality very well. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately it was very very hot in London that week and the hotel left their heating on full - this coupled with the absence of air conditioning and a window that can only be opened once you sign a disclaimer […] was inappropriate. Very good stay - top notch, friendly and highly professional staff. If the tubes had been running it would have been fine but I did spend a lot of time faffing around on replacement busses - not the hotel's fault. Andyway - short safe walk from Wembley Park,when I checked in at 11.30 pm there were lots of young people around and I thought it was going […] to be noisy - but not at all. On the positive side friendly, helpful and efficient staff and the hotel is very convenient for Wembley Stadium/Arena. However, on the negative side we found our room (on 8th floor) very noisy due to heavy traffic/revellers which went on into the early hours as there is no double glazing. With regard to party revellers, we stayed on a Friday night so […] maybe that problem is just at weekends, but suspect the traffic noise is an on-going problem anyway. Also our double bed turned out to be 2 twins put together, so combined with the noise we didn't have a very good night's sleep! Nice og very exiting place, very glose til Wemley Stadion.

The Wembley Plaza is conveniently situated for both the Stadium and Arena. Hotel facilities and accomodation are very good. Resturaunt and bar good. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Happy to recommend.

We managed to secure the room for a very cheap price. But the biggest issue with this hotel is that it does not have air conditioning within the room. The heating was on in the room when it was very warm outside already, there was no air conditioning and the window only opened slightly so was too hot in room. I didn't know what to think about this hotel, i expected it to be pretty good as its classed as a 4* but theirs quite a few reviews which i would easily agree with when they say that the hotel should be more like a 2* I decided to get a double plaza room for 2 nights and when i arrived i first thought that the hotel was a little run down from the outside […] (just like the surrounding area), the lobby area was very nice tho and the staff was friendly but i kinda couldn't understand her :/ the room was on the 9th floor and was pretty small considering that this was the upgraded room and the noise from outside was as if we were on the ground floor (very loud) and considering that it was the middle of the day and it was quite sunny the room was pretty dark. What we found were quite confusing was that their wasn't a bedroom light but 3 small desk lights around which had to be individually switched on. The bed was ermmm..... uncomfortable, old and loud (the complete opposite to what you want when your going away for the weekend) The bathroom was dark and small and the tiles weren't lined up which was a sign that the room was cheaply done and their was a hole in the wall :( The tv was big but very rubbish:- took ages to warm up, very blurry, only had 7 channels, couldn't get the pay movies or channels to come up on the options menu and lastly we couldn't get anyone to assist us as the phones weren't working and we couldn't be bothered to go all the way downstairs to the lobby to get sum one. Prices.... well if you think that paying a tenner for a glass of wines alright then you've come to the right place if you don't then you should keep away from this hotel, every things 5 times the price that it should be. My stay at the Wembley Plaza will be my last, I am a regular hotel customer and this hotel is never 4*. The rooms are poorly furnished, no air co, carpets are worn, the bathrooms are basic, and overall cleaning and maintenance poor.We booked a double and a twin room.Check in was fine, however our rooms were seperated by 3 floors. My room was on the […] 4th floor, we were greeted with a horrible stench of bad drains over the length of the corridor. Once in the room the temperature was unbearable, with only a small portable fan left in the room, the twin room was simirlar. We approached the staff and all that could be done was to open the window, and only if we signed a disclaimer. I have been in better 2* rated hotels. The rooms are cool and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Use of the pool, sauna and steam room is a real plus. Great location in terms of proximity to the stadium and arena, but there is a great deal of work in the area to make it a bit more pleasant - that will take time.

Very nice hotel, good value, rooms tidy, beds comfortable, breakfast was lovely, stakk were very friendly. I cant really fault the place. I will stay again when im in the area!

stayed at the hotel for two nights and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. hotel within walking distance of tube station (just 2 stops to centre of london) and next door to the new wembley stadium. gym facilities are on the small side but adequate and the pool is a decent size .all equipment and pool nice and clean. room was a little dated in […] decor but clean throughout and some great views over london etc. breakfast was good and there was plenty of extra fruit/ cakes etc. excellent value hotel, well done . Very nice hotel, good service in the resteraunt and on reception, I was a little disappointed that the bed and the pillows were ultra hard and not very comfortable, the tartan carpet in the room had seen better days and looked dated, I understand that there are plans to demolish this hotel after ther 2012 Olympics so I dont expect them to spend and […] monay on updating. We upgraded to the plaza room and the extras were definately a nice touch. There were 2 little bottles of wine, 1 red 1 white, fresh fruit, box of chocolates, pringles, hot chocolate, shortbread and lots of sachets of different flavoured teas. We also received bottles of still and sparkling water each day. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alot […] of reviews mention the rooms being very hot as were ours but all we did was turn the radiator off. You can always turn it back up if the room cools too much. The breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of choice. We chose the Wembley Plaza because we had audience tickets for the Cube being filmed at the Fountain Studios which was a 5 min walk from the hotel. We found it easy to travel to the centre of london using the Wembley Park tube station, 10minutes walk or £4.80 in a taxi. There is also a regular bus service. but we quite enjoyed the walk. Me and my partner stayed here because it seemed most convenient as we were going to watch a gig at Wembley Areana/Stadium! I would recommend this to anyway that doesn't fancy getting the train home late, much easier to stay up in London. Very nice hotel and great location.

About the same standard as other local economy class hotels. Ridiculous price for such a standard room. Will never use again even if it is the only one available
