"Amish Country close by"
Very nice, lovely but expected a more rural area, more open space.

"*Beautiful*"
The rooms were above our expectations. Cute decor and furniture, very spacious... bathrobes are a cool touch. Breakfast was our only disappointment, thought they would have offered a better variety of fresh foods. Billiard room was pretty cool. Location is very close to Bird in Hand. We will stay there again.
"Exceeded our expectations"
We booked this hotel after friends visited it themselves and raved about the rooms. Although our room did not match what is shown on their website, it was still above and beyond your normal hotel room. Two Queen room had a seperate seating area with 2 chairs, a desk w/ chair, TV on cabinet.. nicely decorated. Microwave, (2) wine glasses, water glasses, […] frig & sink. The hallway to the bedroom had a large closet to the left with french doors and to the right a large counter with copper sink & a mirror. The bedroom had a large armoire w/ mirror and a dresser. Bathroom off bedroom - very clean. (water pressure could have been better). Two bathrobes were a very cool touch, two cookies were left for us on our dresser, music was playing when we entered the room. The walls were a little thin and you could hear others within the halls... we usually take ear plugs with us when away, so it didnt bother us as much. Breakfast was ok. Any bread you could think of was there, fruit salad, coffee bar, 1 choice of cereal and some egg casserole thing. I thought homemade pastries would have been nice being the area we were in.... but it was fine. Billard room was fun on a Thursday night, but Friday was much more crowded (wedding party). We will go back - no doubt about it. Przeczytaj więcej
"Inn at Leola Village"
It was a very pleasant experience. The only negative was the sink drains were slow
"Dissapointed in rooms"
I booked 3 rooms on line. The e-mail description of the rooms were exactly the same. However, when I arrived, 2 rooms were side by side but the 3rd room was in a different building! The 3rd room was entirely different and was not as nice - did not have the space or furnishings as the first two. Needless to say, it was a big dissapointment to one of […] the couples because the rooms were all the same price. I will not book again unless I receive confirmation that all three rooms will be together. This has never happened to me before and it never occured to me to check. I have learned a valuable lesson. "Nice, but not much Charm"
The pictures give the impression of a charming little country inn. We just didn't get that feeling. The large parking lot and store front appearance of the restaurant and spa gives it more of a shopping center feel. We were taken to our accomadations in the rear building to a lower level room. The host was giving us a litle history of the inn as we […] went, our room was in the building that was the original tobacco barn. The room was large but dark and not at all romactic or charming. We ask for a different room, which they gladly did. We were then shown a room in the building above the restaurant which was a much nicer room. It did have a more romantic and charming feel to it. It was an over all nice place, and the staff were very accomodating. The location is good, just a few minutes drive in any direction to the sights and things to do in Amish country. Przeczytaj więcej

"Leola"
My husband and I just spent the weekend at this hotel. It is a very nice and cozy hotel. The decor is beautiful. It's a great get-away if you want to get out of the city. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the buildings are not inter-connected. You have to step outside to go to the buildings where breakfast is served or to the spa. It's […] not practical when it's cold. I'd go back, but during the summer or fall, not winter. Przeczytaj więcej
"Very Comfortable and Eye Appealing."
The hotel is very comfortable and the suite we had made us feel like we were home. The decore is exceptional not only in the rooms but, also in the halls, and the grounds were very neat and clean. We will definately be going back again.
"The Inn at Leola VIllage - Beautiful"
What a beautiful hotel! Nice people, delicious breakfast. I would return.
"The Inn at Leola Village"
Great room, great service. My fiance and I had a great weekend away staying here. Room was very large and clean, had a kitchen, dining area, desk, large bathroom, 2 closets, and a comfortable bedroom.
"Girl Friend Gettaway at The Inn at Leola Village"
My friend and I wanted a girlfriend's weekend gettaway for shopping and fun. We experienced a wonderful weekend. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, lovely rooms and great food. I am so glad I found this place! We will be back next year for our birthday gettaway! Loved it!
"Inn at Leola Village"
Much effort and expense was expended to make this hotel top notch. However in so doing the rooms were too cluttered with paraphernalia e.g. lamps, nick nacks, paintings, fancy over ornated furniture etc. which cluttering makes the rooms difficult to clean thoroughly. There was dust all over the place. Same could be said for the lobby.
"All that glitters in not gold"
This was a terrible stay. We booked the hotel for a night as we had stayed here few years back and had liked it. However this time we were terribly disappointed. The service- was awful! Actually there was NO service. When I arrived at front desk to check in around ~10 PM, there was no one there. The note said to call a number, but no one picked up. […] After a long wait, some one turns up and offers the excuse of shift change. Now the room- looked beautiful. But that's it. The bed was terrible. It creaked at every turn. Gave us a sleepless night. There was no bottled water available in the room or hotel. When inquired at the front desk, they replied it's after 10PM, so we will need to get this our self for a nearby store. So much for comfort!! Truly disappointed by the stay. The stay proves the age old proverb- all that glitters is not gold. Przeczytaj więcej
"Comfie and Cozy"
I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. I read reviews prior to booking and followed their advice by booking a suite on the second floor. I had one minor recurring problem with the key card, but when you are traveling, you have to expect small inconveniences. The decor of our room as well as the entire hotel was unique, warm and inviting. The casual dining restaurant […] was also very enjoyable. Przeczytaj więcej

comfortable, outstanding breakfast, very good service, a bit of a ride but not too far to attractions, good price for what you get .....
"The Inn at Leola Village in Lancaster,PA"
Totally enjoyed my stay. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
"Tiny rooms, avoid if going with young children"
We booked a suite and paid more thinking that we will have more space because we were going with our 2 kids who were four and one . But the rooms alignment was so odd.. the bathroom was placed in between the bedroom and the tiny sitting area. and the passage between these rooms was the vanity area. with a door and no door stopper . we had to use the […] trash bin to stop the door from closing. There was no bathroom tisssue in the bathroom and it kind of looked like they wanted to extract tips on every encounter . The breakfast room was so tiny even a coffee corner in 7 eleven could be bigger. They din't have many choices also and they had two people attending that room and pouring juice .. you need to wait in queue for all other food which is also not great. If you want to pay for looking at the antique furniture, this is the place for you but for everything else, please look else where. Przeczytaj więcej
"Nice Escape"
We found the hotel to be charming and nicely maintained. The convenient location for experiencing the nearby Amish countrside, the presence of a fine restaurant on-site, and the spacious room added up to a nice escape.
"Beautiful hotel, but unfriendly check in staff."
The clerk who checked us in was most dour and uncommunicative. Made us wait in the reception area while someone was checking to see if the room was ready at 4:30-5 pm. Did not welcome us or offer us seats or an explanation until I asked why we were waiting. Hot water did not work in the shower. The staff in the breakfst hall was friendly, courteous […] and attentive. Przeczytaj więcej
"Every room different and interesting"
Interesting hotel, you may want to make sure you get a room that is not too small by selecting a suite for a few dollars more. We had a great room by doing this. Some of the guests did mention that a couple of the rooms were tiny. Service was very laid back at the front desk, only staffed part time. but someone is already around if you need them. Breakfast […] was included, attentive server, scrambled eggs, toast, cofffee, juice - the usual free breakfast items. This hotel is for those wh like Pennslyvania Dutch style and comfort, a nice change from the cookie cutter big brands out there. Przeczytaj więcej

Excellent accomodations! For once the reviews were right...
"great stay"
We enjoyed our stay very much. The room we stayed in was quite nice. The only issue we had was this is a busy place on the weekend they have a lot of weddings and can be noisy. Staff were very professional especially Apollo who who went above and beyond to fix a breaker issue in our room after other staff assumed they had fixed it. Smart young man who […] speaks Spanish also, very impressed. Przeczytaj więcej

"Great Staff, Excellent Accommodations"
I went for a long weekend. The staff was wonderful, the accommodations were perfect and location was convenient to everything. I was very happy with my stay...it was difficult to leave. I highly recommend the Inn at Leola. You will not be sorry!

"poor example of a 4 star hotel"
Rooms shown in the ads were not an accurate reflection of the room that I booked on hotels.com....room small, crowded, sheets had spots on them, decorative bed pillows had spots on them, only 1 light out of 4 worked in the bathroom. I made use of the spa for mani/pedicure and the results were poor, especially for the money. Flat looking finish on nails […] with bubbles in surface. Continental breakfast offerings were very limited. Przeczytaj więcej
"The Inn at Leola Village"
The inn was a delightful surprise: great accommodations, friendly service, including the spa. The restaurant was marvelous with farm to table philosophy, innovative selections and excellent service.
"basement room"
Hotel is very nice. Or room was very well decorated. But our room was in a basement and above was a functional hall and you could hear women walking in high heels and people moving tables.

"Big Let Down!"
I was planning for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend and thought we would go with the Inn at Leola "the only 4 diamond hotel in the area". The only thing i can say is who ever rated this hotel 4 diamond did not see our room. Ceilings were short, bathroom was small, bed was horrible, TV was at a weird angle in both rooms. And i am sure glad we were […] not handy-caped because we had to go up a flight of steps to get to it. I didn't feel like i was as at a 4 diamond resort but more like a cheep apartment or the hired helps room. HUGE LET DOWN! Przeczytaj więcej
"leola inn-good value"
The service was excelent. I had checked in very late and the room service was already closing. George in room service went above and beyond and delivered us a wonderful dinner in a swift mannor. I was very happy with the wine he chose and for him to go the extra mole in getting us a dinner when the kitchen was already closed. The room was nice, #525 […] my only negitive was the placement of the toilet was strangly close to the wall. Breakfast was good the eggs were okay, but I felt for the money it was a good value and the staff was very nice. Przeczytaj więcej
"Surrounds Amish country - oasis of comfort"
We spent two nights at the Inn around Thanksgiving. Although many of the shops associated with the Inn were not open, of course, you could see that the offerings were high quality. No room service on Thanksgiving Day - I had invited family back to our room to relax before their respective travels back home - despite this, the bartender left his post […] to bring us a bottle of Proseco and also gathered up some munchies from the kitchen...didn't charge for the latter! I thought that was above and beyond gracious! I found all the staff very accommodating. The room are nicely appointed - large with tall ceilings. Ours was 2 Queens. The bathroom is spacious and the counter top extends about 12 feet - so plenty of room for his & hers sinks and room between. Plenty of lights, towels, and comfortable beds. Individual heating/cooling room dial. DVD player in room, top of huge TV in armoire. Breakfast is in a warm and inviting room apart from Inn. Fireplace (electric) was burning and gave room a cozy feel. Food was plentiful- fruit bowl, scones, bagels, egg strata, hard boiled eggs, etc. There is an award-winning restaurant on the premises that we did not try but from the decor, menu, locked wine boxes for regular clients, extensive wine cellar, and awards, I would try it next time. The Inn's lobby was a bit too filled for my likes with fir-sale nic-nacs - galore. However, these were tasteful, quirky, artsy, and whimsical, so they were not your usual kitch. It was fun to look at and did give you a sense of Christmastime around the corner. Leola is not far from Lancaster and you drive through wonderfully kept farms of the Amish. Not unusual to see three or four buggies sharing the roadways - and they can drive at a good little clip! We have tried lots of inns on the historic register and under select registry and this easily matches that quality. Loved it's quiet, comfortable country inn elegance. Will return to try the spa and restaurant and enjoy being away from the stressful c Przeczytaj więcej
"The Inn at Leola Village"
We were very pleased with the hotel. We had the loft suite in the Bard House. The main part of the suite was on the second floor and the loft was on the third floor, so we had to climb stairs, but we were very pleased with our accommodations. It was essentially an apartment with multiple sitting rooms, a full kitchen and a large bedroom.

"The Inn at Leola Village"
The Inn was well appointed. The rooms are spacious with a unique layout. The furnishings in the rooms were first class.
"Beautifully spacious rooms but noisy thin walls"
The Inn is a very nicely decorated inn with the rooms being spacious like a luxurious hotel. But ask for the main house rooms otherwise one of the outer buildings has a lot of rooms in the basement which is not appealing to us. When in the main portion of the Inn, the walls were thin and loud conversations could be heard on either side of us at 3 am […] which destroyed our sleep. One of our 3 night stay, about 10 people gathered under our window over the parking lot at midnight. They were talking quite loudly and the manager had to be called to remove them. Przeczytaj więcej
"Review"
Everything about this hotel was positive aside from the fact that my room was very tiny. I'm not sure if that is because we arrived around 10pm and there were no other rooms available, but it was at least half the size of other rooms. Also the tea room could be a little bigger to allow for more guests during breakfast
The Inn at Leola Village is very nice and employees are helpful and kind. It was a short stay (one day) but good. Except for the food at Mazzi one of the restaurants at the Inn, it was salty and grease and in addition it didn't taste good. It is close to downtown Lancaster, maybe 15 minutes drive, where you can find theaters, amish market, stores, […] etc. Przeczytaj więcej

Excellent place to stay. Very well kept and excellent staff. We were more than pleased and surprised by the atmosphere of the Inn. The location is excellent as well...only about 6 miles to Sight and Sound and to the outlet malls.
