Nice place. Parking is pretty limited. Would reconsider if driving a larger vehicle.

Description said "Business Centre", which was just a computer in a corner and I needed an actual business centre, so that was a big disappointment. Also the restaurant is only open during the day and it's an over-priced organic coffee shop. Clean rooms, friendly people, great location

Great hotel for the price. Clean and located in downtown Prince George. Restaurants within walking distance.

Good stay for the price.

Good rate, same price booking inline or calling them direct. Clean room facing rear, I found it quiet. Friendly staff, Leanne at the front desk found me an extra night despite being booked up full. The included breakfast was handy, assortment of cereals, bagels, bread, muffins, fruit, juices, coffee. Nice clean room, basic layout, comfy bed, flat panel […] TV. The fridge/micro/coffee maker were nice to have. I was working dowtown so I didn't need to drive anywhere, I didn;t move my vehicle for 3 days. We stayed here for one night en route to Jasper on the VIA train service. This hotel does not pretend to be a five star and as such the rooms are perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. The surrounding area is typical of most of Prince George, and it is a 10 minute walk from the station. The buffet breakfast was well supplied with fresh produce and […] regularly replenished during the time I was having my breakfast. If I was to return to Prince George again for a single overnight stay I would probably chose the Travelodge Goldcap BC again as, for the price I paid ,it perfectly lived up to expections. There have been some negative reviews posted regarding this hotel and I would always caution people to check out the dates of reviews as some of them are very old and might not reflect the current state of an establishment. This hotel is older, and it shows. However, everything was clean comfortable and neat. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good dining is available right across the street at Cimo's, and the White Spot is only a block away.

The family and I spent two days at this hotel and were very pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the room.The continental breakfast included with a great room price was fantastic.We would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

This was my first trip to Prince George and I didn't know where anything was located, I used hotel reviews to pick the hotel to stay at. I found this hotel had the best customer reviews for the price. Travelodge staff were very friendly and the hotel was in good condition. I would definately stay again next trip. Excellent rates, service and room.

The Travelodge is an older hotel in downtown PG. The staff was very friendly and prompt to serve, I was checked in and settled in about 5 minutes. Its a good place to sleep, the room was adequate, not as spacious as described, but comfortable. We only had a brief overnight stay. Nice and close to lots of attractions; near centre of city. Room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Parking lot next to hotel is very small; we almost thought we'd have nowhere to park until we asked a helpful staff member, who directed us to their (semi-hidden) parking lot across the street. Comfortable room for 4 and helpful staff. Reasonably near to centre of Prince George. Good value booking through hotels.com, but would have been more expensive booking through hotel direct.

We spent 5 nights and were pleased with pretty much all aspects of the hotel. The only negative ascpects I can think of would be that the water pressure in the shower was pretty low, A waffle maker for the continental breakfast would have been nice and some way to get the luggage carts to the rooms that had extra steps in the hallway between the elevator […] and the room. We made our reservation online and upon arrival we found out that the reservation was not pet friendly, although we had specified we needed a place for our pet. The receptionist that was working that night understood our dilemma and then immediately solved our problem in a very friendly way. The Travelodge in Prince George has a new manager and her goal is to constantly improve the hotel. Effective October 1st, a free breakfast is being added for the guests. Our room had a queen bed, microwave and small fridge, and free internet. The room was clean and inviting. Based on the price, you should not expect a five star hotel. This hotel was close to the main highway. We used it as a travel stop over so didn't see much of PG. The hotel could use some work, but over all it was clean and the staff was very helpful. I wouldn't make it a long stay, but great for travelling through.
