Unless you are going to the Texas Motor Speedway there is nothing going on in the neighborhood. The hotel seemed virtually empty during my two night stay. The room was comfortable and tidy, the pool area landscaping seemed a little raggedy. I needed to catch a 6am flight out of Love Field and when I left the hotel at 3:10am there was nobody at the front […] desk or at the door. In fact, there was no hotel employee to be found anywhere. Outside, in the front parking lot there are mid size hedges between each terraced level which block your sightline. This has to be the first hotel that I stayed in that charges for internet. For that reason I would not stay there again.

This Hotel was very close to where our son lives, so it was convenient for us. It's a very nice hotel but it is not very close to great restaurants or shopping

The view from our hotel window included cattle, the Speedway, and freeways. With the help of a GPS locating and arriving at the Champion Circle Marriott was easily accessible. Over the Christmas holiday, when the staff would rather be elsewhere, they repeatedly demonstrated their pleasure in meeting our needs.

I stayed here to attend a wedding in Ft. Worth. The hotel is great with a golf course on one side and cows on the other side. I thought the hotel was great overall in terms of cleanliness and service, but aside from being near the interstate, it wasn't near anything else besides the racetrack.

We purchased a romance package that included a dinner and breakfast for two--both meals were excellent and hassle free.

This is a great place to stay when they are off-season. Quiet and with a great staff. If something is not right, they make sure they fix it so you will be pleased with their performance. Definitely going to book again next time we need to be around the area.

This hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and Texas Speedway. Overall it was a great stay I have been here twice and will be back again soon.

We had a 2 night stay. We left our room about 10:30 the 1st morning and didn't return until 5 that afternoon. Our room had not been cleaned. When we called to complain, they said they would clean it, but we had a party to get ready for, so it was never cleaned. We were not given any concession for it.

i think you would probably have had more than two people in the restaurant on sat night if you didnt try to put the screws to us. my salad was 7 dollars which was high but understood where i was. It was when i had the three shrimp added for the (surprise since i didnt ask price of 8 dollars) that i realized why the place was empty. Yes i think 17 dollars […] for a salad was a little much;. We enjoy using this hotel as a way to get away for quietness, good view and a round of golf. The rooms are comfortable and roomy for a hotel room. If you want a good internet connection you have to pay for it. If you are there to get away, you may not need it. SM- Plano, TX

This motel was in a beautiful setting and far enough away from the interstate to be quiet. A beautiful facility. The bed was extremely comfortable. However, you do have to pay a fee for wireless internet. Also the breakfast was not complimentary, so expect to pay a fee. We did eat the breakfast buffet one day and it was very good!

Best night sleep in years. Very comfortable.

This hotel is somewhat stand alone, so it was a perfect choice for the hubby and I to get away for a weekend! However, it's only about 25 mins from downtown Fort Worth, so we were able to go downtown at night for some fun when we wanted. Perfect balance of city and serenity! :) Hotel itself was GORGEOUS, very well kept, clean and new looking. Staff […] was very sweet, amenities were great! We especially enjoyed its well-lit basketball/tennis court, HUGE golf course that was great for jogging, large pool that had beautiful color changing lighting at night, and the warm jacuzzi! Overall, I highly recommend. The only down sides were that the lounge downstairs got a wee bit loud at night, and wifi and breakfast weren't complimentary. We went for an event at Texas Motor Speedway and the location was excellent, you could see the track right across the street. Very nice and clean rooms. The only negative was that there was a wedding reception there and we wanted to go down to the lounge and relax but the wedding party and guests were being disruptive (loud whooping and hollering, kids […] running up and down the halls). With only a few minor glitches, our stay at the Marriott Dallas/Fort Worth Hotel & Golf Club Champions was a sweet escape. And we'll go back. The only glitches were the absence of PBS, TCM and AMC on the TV lineup, the sometimes slow guest services and the absence of a restroom near the excellent swimming pool. I was very happy with the hotel & the room. But unless you're going to Texas Motor Speedway, it's a little farther north out of Ft. Worth than some might want to stay.

Well the empolyee's work at the front desk were great and very friendly. However the beds were small and the pillows were very bing or to small, and the pool was not very clean.

tHIS WAS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY THE HOTEL WAS GOOD THE RESTAURANTS ARE WAY OVERPRICED BUT THEY CAN AFFORD TO CHARGE WHATEVER THEY WANT BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING ELSE AROUND FOR MILES.

Hotel was ideally located as our son was deploying to Afghanistan with DynCorp, located in the hotel. Every aspect of our stay -- especially the food and the responsiveness of the staff, was exceptional -- except the $9.95 charge per night for internet access. The hotel was very nice. The reason we did pick the hotel was because of location and shuttle service so we were disappointed when we found out the shuttle stoped @ 10:45p. That really defeated the reason we chose the hotel. But other than that, great hotel if you not looking for shuttle service late.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Nice facilities. Would stay again.

The room smelled musty. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Poor Cable reception. No fridge or microwave. I was supposed to stay two nights only stayed one it was bad.

This Hotel is has a nice golf senic view with lots of acerage surronding it. Great for walkers and lots of fresh air. There is no feel of the city here. It is a great place to get away and stay, yet close enough to cross over the freeway to business and restruants. OKay, here is is only downside. There are tons of pros and a few cons to this hotel. We like it and are repeat customers. It may not be for everyone though. The good things about this hotel is its price, the value of what you get for that price, the beautiful and perfectly clean rooms, the fabulous pool and spa and the bar with the best bartender I have found in some time. The cons are, it is a bit out of the way from nightlife, bars, resteraunts and activities (this is a pro for us but I can understand why it wouldn't be for some), the air conditioner never seems to cool down like I would like in the room, the hot tub was HOT!!! We had driven past this hotel a million times. Always wanted to stay here but it was a bit out of the way. When looking at hotels.com for rooms for our mothers day trip this one came up at a great rate. It was a few more miles out of the way than the others but we thought it would be okay since it was so nice. It was! The most well maintained hotel […] I have ever seen. My stay at the Marriott DFW Hotel & Golf Club Champion was pleasant. The ladies at the front desk were pleasant and professional. The view rom the room was beautiful. It wasn't of the golf course but it was a view of the American flag that rose above the trees. It drew your attention and took the focus from the view of the parking lot. I liked it so […] much that I took a photo of it. Room service was delivered on within the time frame requested. Food was great except the 2% milk I received was spoiled. So I would suggest not using cartons of milk, instead I would pour the milk in a glass like the OJ comes. (other hotels do this) Believe me taking a drink of spoiled milk is NOT good. I didn't ask for a replacement because I drank my fiances milk. The only other suggestion would be to put more than one caffenated coffee packet in the rooms. Overall my stay was a good one! Thx! This is a great hotel. Sits on a really nice golf course just across the street from Texas Motor Speedway. Far enough away from Dallas and Ft. Worth to be peaceful, but close enough to get where you are going easily. The Rooms were clean and neat, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The hotel staff is the real deal maker here. Hotel room and front desk staff were both helpful and personable. The only complaint was the restaurant within the hotel. We ate there twice and they seemed more than disorganized and painfully slow. We would not recommend using the hotel for meals. However, the food was good once we finally received it. Waitstaff seemed preoccupied and would not return […] to the table with things we were offered and requested -- extremely forgetful (several times in one lunch), didn't return for drink refills, etc. Otherwise, great place to stay!
