Royal Al Andalus - Torremolinos

Very nice facility, Easy walking distance to beach, shops & restaurants. Bus stops close by for easy commute to Malaga. Hotel is very well run, but disappointed with SMOKEY bedroom after requesting a non-smoking room at the time of booking.

stayed here and was really happy with it...... its about 5 minutes walk to city center for shopping and stuff... nice hotel mainly used by the spainish but staff have english

Service at this Hotel was V good. It is 5minutes walk, across a busy road, down hill to the beach shops etc., and about a 10-15 minute walk to the railway station in Torremolinos. The food was good both breakfast & evening meal, on the Sunday for breakfast, because there are a lot of people there just for the weekend, you had to queue up for sometime […] to get served. I stayed at the hotel Al Andalus for two nights in early feb. The room I was given on the first night was clean and functional although it had not yet been refurbished like rooms on Lower floors. The balcony had not been cleaned and had a few toe nails left over frrom the previous occupant. I asked to change for the next night and was given a refurbed […] room. I recently stayed in this hotel for one night following a short stay at the Roc Flamingo in the centre of Town. The Andalus is a short 10 minute walk away from the centre and is a world away from the Flamingo. it was an oasis of tranquility as there were very few guests which was a shame as the hotel was a pleasure to stay in. the rooms were modern […] and comfortable and the hotel itself was spotless. A group of six of us stayed early November. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5 minute walk from the beach and Carihuela. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean (Towels changed every day). We read a lot about this hotel before choosing it and most of what we read was positive, and so it should be, the hotel represents great value for money. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by polite, efficient, knowledgeable staff who are all English speaking and very very smart in their red waistcoats. Room, 4th floor, large clean well equiped […] although the furniture was a little tired. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom with constant hot water and a great shower. I have read that some thought the food was not good, forget it, the food was very good with 2 fish dishes, 2 meat dishes, 2 vegetable dishes, potato and pasta dishes every night. Always a great selection of salad, cold meats, cheeses and much much more. What you have to remember is the price you are paying, you will not want for more. Restaurant, big, clean with super efficient and very friendly smiley staff, good for a joke, very smart and nothing was to much trouble. The same at breakfast, bacon, eggs, potato, black pudings, choritzo sausage, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, toast, yogurts and a fantastic coffee machine, what more could you ask for. The bar, again good staff, well equiped, big flat screen T.V. This hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel, I have read that some say it is only a 3 star and they are correct in my opinion but it is one of the best 3 stars i've stayed in, and remember the money your paying, IT IS GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. If your driving parking is easy, if you travel by public transport, the bus stop is very close and the beach is literally a 5 minute walk. The only thing, and I mean the only thing I personally could find fault with was that it was positioned on a busy road which kept me awake sometimes in the night if we had the door to the balcony open. Hotellfasilitetene er tilfredsstillende, og spesielt fremheves en vakker hage og et utmerket svømmebasseng. Området runt er skjemmet av nedlagte restauranter og butikker, og det er forholdsvis langt å gå til strand og sentrum i Torremolinos. Rommene rene og pene, men har dårlige dører som gjør det veldig lydt. Frokostbuffeen er rikholdig, men mangler […] gode fullkornprodukter som bør være selvsagt i dag. Stekt egg/bacon serveres bare annenhver dag. Det manglet noe på serviceinnstilingen hos personalet, og flere forstod ikke elementær engelsk. Det var tydelig lavsesong, og vi hadde ikke problemer med å finne p-plass på hotellet for vår leiebil. Konklusjon: Greit og pent hotell i triste omgivelser, rimelige priser, mangler gode og "sunne" frokostprodukter, godt utgangspunkt for kjøreturer i området, kort avstand til flyplassen. Accueil courtois et sympathique; Propreté. Rapport qualité/Prix excellent. Je le recommande à tout voyageur qui cherche un lieu accessible à la plage et au centre de la ville. Le petit déjeuner est assez généreux; peut-être voir à améliorer l'accès au libre service à la cafetière; l'attente peut des fois durer plus de 5 minutes. Merci

Geen mooie ligging, met wensen vooraf bij boeken, voor kamer aan zwembadzijde werd geen rekening gehouden, op aandringen later alsnog andere kamer. Andere kamers aan drukke lawaaiweg. Veel lawaai door airco's restaurant aan zwembadzijde. Eten absoluut niet goed genoeg voor een 4-sterrenhotel: lang wachten in de rij bij de (trage) en te weinig koffiemachines, […] gebakken eieren, scrambled eggs e.d. vaak op, geen lekkere broodjes, onvriendelijk personeel, bloedheet in de eetzaal, buffetdiner vaak hetzelfde, weinig variatie, eten elke avond lauw, dessert erg summier en elke dag hetzelfde. lo mejor del hotel, sus trabajadores y en especial sus camareros, fantasticos!!!! la habitacion muy grande y las partes comunes bastante bien, los jardines muy bonitos. lo peor, el buffet muy muy escaso y encima media hora antes ya no habia comida, no habia aire acondicionado y la verdad es que hemos pasado mucho calor, incluso en la propia habitacion. la […] animacion muy pobre, se ve que se gastan muy poco dinero . Generelt fint hotel med okay service. Første værelse vi fik anvist, var dog langt fra på niveau med, hvad man må kunne forvente at et 4* hotel. God service på hotellet gjorde dog af vi efter at have klaget, på anden dagen af vores ophold, fik anvist et nyt dejligt værelse. Rigtig godt hotel, specielt ift. prisen. God beliggenhed i roligt kvarter, men i gå afstand til strandpromenade. God mad. Dejligt pool område. Vi kommer gerne igen. Var der 2 voksne og 2 børn (5/10).

Fint hotell med god frokost, rene rom og koslig bassengområdet! Området rundt hotellet trekker litt ned. Mange av bygningene rundt var nedlagt og preget av tagging og knuste ruter. Likevel føltes det ut som et trygt området og det tok ca 5 min å gå til butikker og resturanter. Vi trives bedre med å bo på "sentrums hoteller", så vi ville nok valgt et […] annet hotell neste gang. Mycket bra mat i restaurangen, rekommenderar halvpension. Underbar trädgård , lugnt och fridfullt i omgivningen. Nära till stranden, något längre till city. trevlig personal Trevlig bar med trevlig personal. Underhållning förekom för de som var intresserade.

Hotel situé dans une zone calme (sauf en journée route passante) , chambre grande confortable avec balcon vue mer . Buffet restauration correcte mais a mon avis assez répétitif si on reste plusieurs jours .

Vi rejser meget og oplever mange forskellige hoteller men dette hotel er da absolut et af de bedste vi længe har boet på. Alt var i den bedste stand og hotellets personale er både venlige, imødekommende samt omsorgsfulde. Meget tæt på by og strand.

Great hotel. Good service, nice and clean, very nice pool and great location! We came 2 am but when we came (11 people) the room-keys was ready, and it only took 5 min before we all where on our rooms! And we got our 4 rooms beside each other as we asked for......GREAT service!! (and they all had a view over the pool ;-)
