"close to Lackland airforce base"
We were there for a family members airforce graduation. The motel was clean and the employees very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.
Since we were at the room very little due to my son's BMT graduation at Lackland we swallowed a lot of our thoughts. Had to ask for soap and kleenex when it ran out. Blowdryer broke. Front door had to be opened with our shoulder and full weight. Not the cleanest but served a purpose. Got what we paid for.

I spoke with a rep on the phone and had asked for room on 1st floor stated that would be no problem , when i arrived at hotel they stated they had room on 2nd floor and only stairs no elevator, my stay was with my grandmother who is 88yrs old and she CAN NOT DO STAIRS, this is why i requested 1st floor .. gave us a hanicapp room with no door on bathroom.. stayed during spring break, room was clean but lots of birds from the court yard tree screeched from sun-up till dawn. not a peaceful morning.

"Nice and close to Lackland AFB"
Great place to stay if attending a BMT Graduation. The beds are super comfortable (memory foam), the hotel was very quiet, for being on a busy Hwy. Would defiantly recommend this place. Just stay out of the surrounding neighborhood :)
Rooms were nice and clean. Located close to Lackland AFB so great location if you are going to BMT graduation. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for son's graduation from USAF BMT. Convenient location to base. Not the best neighborhood. Looking for a place to stay at night during graduation weekend? This is fine. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms could use some work. I have to say the service from the staff here was GREAT! Especially Ted at the front desk. he was a big help getting us around […] San Antonio.He knows the area. This really is a good place to stay if you are going to BMT Graduation- Lackland AFB is only a SHORT drive away (and you want to drive because the base is so big)! The staff was very helpful with my daughter (13 months old) in accomodating a pack-and-play, as well as letting me use the lobby all the time to feed her (since they have a high chair). There […] is a computer to use that has internet access that was helpful as well (we didn't bring a lap top). It was a little tricky finding the place since they had just switched over to Days Inn (we didn't get the notice that it wasn't a Howard Johnson any more), but that wouldn't be an issue anymore. It is right by the freeway, so it can be loud with all the cars driving by, but that was OK since we wanted to be near the base. Overall, it was nice! Very helpful and friendly staff! I thought the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The price was not bad either.

The Staff was friendly, and there's a bus stop within a block of the hotel. The public transportation runs on time and very dependable. Its a straight shot down to the river walk or the Alamo Dome. There's a ton of amazing food in the area, and it's about a 5 minute cab ride to Lackland Air Force Base.
